HUGE CHANCE!
Leverkusen's best chance of the game comes right at the end. A ball over the top to the right is met by Bellarabi who cuts the ball back for Alario in front of goal. He clips a shot at goal first-time, but it's straight at Gulacsi who saves well. Leipzig's defence then clears with offside given against Bellarabi on the rebound.

BELLARABI WASTES ONE
The substitute is played in behind the Leipzig defence and is charging down on goal down the right. He has Schick in the middle but goes for goal himself, which is the wrong decision in the end with his shot fired high and wide.
62'
HUGE CHANCES!
Sorloth cuts past Tapsoba and fires at goal but smacks the post with his effort. The rebound falls to Olmo in front of goal and he fires low from seven yards out but Hradecky produces a stunning reflex save with his right foot to keep that ball out. Fantastic football all round!

BELLARABI BOOKED
Seconds after coming on, the substitute is shown a yellow card for a late challenge on Angelino.

NOT FAR AWAY
The man for a special moment, Bailey spots Gulacsi off his line and goes for goal from the halfway line. This one sails over the crossbar, but you can't beat the confidence of Bailey.

STILL PROBING
The visitors back on the ball and enjoying possession again, but Bailey, Diaby and Wirtz are struggling to produce chances on goal past the Leipzig defence. It might not be too much longer before we see Schick or Alario.

NKUNKU FIRES HOME!
A thunderous finish from Nkunku after superbly beating four Leverkusen defenders. HIs initial shot is blocked on the edge of the away side's area but he gathers the loose ball and flicks it between four Leverkusen players to open space for a shot on goal. It's a half-volley hit with so much power that to find the top corner, offering Hradecky no chance.
49'
ON THE BALL
Leverkusen enjoying early possession in this second half, but Leipzig are almost defending with a four-man attack when the ball is with the Leverkusen defence. It's proving difficult for the away side to break through.

The Frenchman is struggling with a knock to his right knee. He's attempting to continue, but we'll have to wait and see if he can.

CANCELLING EACH OTHER OUT
So far Leverkusen's tall centre-back pairing is handling Sorloth well, while Leipzig's three-man defence is keeping pace with Wirtz, Diaby and Bailey. Little to separate them and you already get the feeling that this game will be decided by fine margins.

ANGELINO FREE-KICK
Adams is brought down on the edge of the Leverkusen box to the left and Angelino steps up to curl the free-kick at goal. Hradecky's wall those well though and heads it behind for a corner, which Leverkusen clear.
26'
FOSU-MENSAH DOWN
The new signing on his first start is down here after a knock in a challenge with Upamecano. He's getting back to his feet and should be able to continue, but that's not what Leverkusen want to see with so many injuries already.
22'
TRADING PUNCHES
Adams is in on goal at a tough angle on the right, so looks across to find Angelino at the back post. Tapsoba does well to intercept and clear it away and Leverkusen break themselves with Diaby and Bailey, but Leipzig's defence recovers as well.

ANGELINO GOES CLOSE!
Fantastic interplay from Leipzig with Nkunku playing the ball into the middle to Olmo from the left. He sends a first-time pass into the Leverkusen box to meet Angelino's run, and the Spaniard fires a first-time volley at goal, but slices the strike just wide past the near post.
16'
WIRTZ SO CLOSE!
Diaby fires forward a superb long ball from the left over the Leipzig defence and Wirtz is in to reach it. He goes for a full-volley with the ball dropping in front of him, but can't get the desired contact and it bounces through to Gulacsi.

FUN BATTLE ON SHOW
With Bailey playing through the middle, the Jamaican winger is coming up against Upamecano in a direct duel. It's been a fun one to watch, with both using their speed to their advantage.

LEIPZIG GOAL RULED OUT
Sabitzer has the ball in the Leverkusen net, but offside is given against the midfielder. He controls Angelino's cross past Tah and beats Hradecky from close range, but Leverkusen live to fight another day.

Leipzig latch onto some lazy Leverkusen defending. It's a clipped cross into Olmo and his header goes to Nkunku at the back post. He's 10 yards from goal, and curls a shot for the far top corner which Hradecky watches go narrowly wide past his post.

BAYER SET UP
It looks like Sinkgraven is playing in the No.10 role in midfield, with Wirtz on the left, Bailey in the middle and Diaby on the right of Bosz's attack.

LEIPZIG VS. LEVERKUSEN ANALYSIS

NO ALARIO OR SCHICK, NO PROBLEM?
Alario is Leverkusen’s eight-goal leading marksman, but hasn’t found the net in seven and sits on the bench alongside Schick this afternoon. Bailey, along with Alario, has had a direct hand in the most goals: nine all told, comprising four goals and five assists.
LEVERKUSEN'S DROP OFF
Leverkusen were unbeaten after 12 matches, but have since lost four of their last six (W1, D1).
TALE OF THE TAPE
Four of the nine Bundesliga meetings between Leipzig and Leverkusen have ended in draws, including the last three in a row (all 1-1). Leipzig have won four, Leverkusen one. There's also a three-point gap between the two in the table, with Leipzig in second and Leverkusen in fourth after Frankfurt's win earlier today.

LEVERKUSEN TEAM NEWS
January signing Fosu-Mensah was a half-time substitute in last week's 1-0 defeat at home to Wolfsburg and will make his full Bundesliga debut with calf problems getting the better of L. Bender. Captain Aranguiz is fit again, and forms a midfield trio with Wirtz and Demirbay. The big question for Bosz was whether he opted for Alario or Schick up top. In the end, it's neither, with Bosz preferring Diaby and Bailey alone in attack.
LEIPZIG TEAM NEWS
American Adams scored his first Bundesliga goal in last week's loss and keeps his place on the right of midfield, despite a slight reshuffle that includes returns for Kampl and Mukiele. Sörloth led the line in Mainz and does so again. Nagelsmann might have liked to revert to his 'false 9' of Forsberg, but the Swede has a knee injury. Poulsen is also an option from the bench after overcoming a groin problem. Upamecano has missed only one game at the heart of the league's meanest defence.
