IT COULD ONLY BE SILVA!
He's had chance after chance, and the goal finally comes for Silva. It's Durm who shoots from the edge of the box and it flicks off Kamada into the path of Silva, who beats Horn to the loose ball and chips the Cologne No.1 to add to his scoring tally. His 18th of the season, outscoring Lewandowski in 2021.

SILVA GOAL RULED OUT!
The one time Silva puts the ball in the back of the Cologne net, it's ruled out. Kostic tried to reach the ball before it went over the byline to cross into the middle. Silva nodded home the cross, but the ball had just gone out of play beforehand.

SILVA SO CLOSE!
Kostic whips in another cross from the left to meet Silva towards the back post, but he can't get his header on target as it drifts just over the crossbar. Another big, big chance goes begging for Frankfurt before the break.
40'
INCHES AWAY!
Kamada does superbly well to beat Mere on the dribble and cut the ball back in front of goal before reaching the byline. Kostic slides to try and poke it home but misses the ball by a matter of inches. The home side coming closer and closer.

BETTER FROM COLOGNE
The away side getting on the ball in the last few minutes, winning challenges in the Frankfurt half and getting forward themselves. But Frankfurt aren't making it easy for them to really put pressure on the hosts' goal.
35'
FRANKFURT IN CHARGE
Cologne started brightly, but Frankfurt are in total control of this game now. They're dominating possession and creating chances, with the only thing missing so far being that opening goal of the game.
33'
SHOT ON GOAL!
Trapp is made to work for the first time in the game as Rexhbecaj hits a shot from distance, but it's a simple save in the end for Frankfurt's No.1.

FREE HEADER!
N'Dicka meets Kostic's corner at the near post ahead of Horn, but he can't get his header over the ball to angle it on target. Frustration building now as Frankfurt continue to press on and on.

A lay-off header from Silva for Kamada to strike at goal from the edge of goal. Horn tips the fiercely-hit shot over the crossbar to keep the scores level for now.

20'
SILVA IN ON GOAL!
A long ball from Younes sends Silva in on goal over Mere. He races towards goal, but Mere recovers and forces him wide before Horn comes out and blocks the ball out of play off Silva for a goal kick. The first sign of what danger Silva can cause.
19'
KOSTIC AGAIN!

WATCH: FRANKFURT'S FLYING EAGLES
TALE OF THE TAPE
Frankfurt's incredible form over the last two/three months has seen them fly up the table and a win today would see them leapfrog Leverkusen and Wolfsburg to sit third before the Wolves are in action later on. They could pull three points away from Leverkusen most importantly, though, after their draw with Mainz on Saturday. Meanwhile, Cologne are creeping away from the relegation zone with every passing game and currently sit four points clear of Bielefeld in the relegation play-off spot. Any points will be massive for them at this point.
IN SILVA, EINTRACHT TRUST
Jovic is once again among the substitutes for Frankfurt this afternoon, but that comes as no surprise when Silva is in the form of his career. Silva is the Bundesliga’s leading scorer in 2021 with eight goals and is already on 17 for the season.
COLOGNE'S HAPPY TRAVELS
Cologne have been much better on the road than they have at home this season, earning 15 of their 21 points on their travels.
TWO IN-FORM SIDE
The Eagles are the Bundesliga’s most in-form team, taking 19 of a possible 21 points since the turn of the year. The Billy Goats are in superb form themselves, however, winning three of their last four.

WATCH: LAST TIME OUT - SPOILS SHARED
FRANKFURT TEAM NEWS
Frankfurt are without a league defeat since mid-December, and will be confident of extending that run against a side 10 places and 15 points below them in the table. But for Schubert, Hütter also has a full-strength squad to call upon for Sunday's game and has kept his team unchanged. Jovic is waiting on the bench.
COLOGNE TEAM NEWS
Dennis started at the Borussia-Park last Saturday, but Meyer only watched on from the bench. It's the same again today and Meyer might have a job getting in the team once fit, even if club captain Hector is struggling with a muscular injury. With neither in action, Rexhbecaj hit the high notes with both goals against Gladbach and keeps his place in the middle of the park. Jakobs left the game on crutches last week. J. Horn occupies his spot on the left.
