HAALAND TO THE RESCUE!
Just before added time, Haaland brings Dortmund level. It's Knauff racing down the right wing and Akanji misses the first attempt at the near post, but Haaland is in the right place to slot home in front of goal.

HUGE CHANCE FOR HAALAND!
The next effort goes begging for Dortmund and Haaland as Reinier heads a loose ball down in front of goal and it's Haaland on the end of it. The perfect man to take the chance and he connects perfectly, but is off-target by a few metres.

HAALAND HITS THE POST!
That's the closest Dortmund have come to an equaliser. Meunier whips in a cross from the right and Haaland is onto it with a header at the near post glancing back across goal. It beats Horn, but bounces back out off the post.

ON THE FRONT FOOT
Dortmund are in control of this game now but can't create chances on goal, with Dahoud isolate in midfield for now with Bellingham pushing further forward.

OUT OF SYNC
Dortmund started this game perfectly with Haaland's opener inside three minutes, but since then it's been a lacklustre display. They're looking to play through midfield now rather than over the top to Haaland, but Cologne's defence is sitting deeper and looking more secure.

WHAT A HIT FROM JAKOBS!
Cologne have turned this game around midway through the second half. A long ball from Dortmund is cut out by the Cologne defence and the hosts break with Jakobs sent in behind. He races beyond Meunier into the BVB area before smashing home a stunning strike past Hitz at the near post. Could Cologne do the double over Dortmund!?

END-TO-END STUFF!
What a game this has become at the start of the second half. Wolf's shot is parried across goal by Hitz and Dortmund break, with Haaland sending Moukoko in on goal. Mere recovers and makes a superb challenge in front of his own goal before starting another counter. Drexler crosses in from the left and Schulz is forced to put the ball behind. Breathless stuff in Cologne!
56'
MOUKOKO IN THE NO.10 ROLE
The 16-year-old is playing in behind Haaland here, with Hazard on the right and Reyna to the left. He's had a shot blocked from 20 yards and won a free-kick already, getting heavily involved.
54'
HECTOR GOES CLOSE
A first chance of the second half for the home side as Duda fires a ball low into the middle, but Hector can't keep his effort on target from in front of goal with Can challenging.
49'
NOT FAR AWAY
It's been a bright start here as Hazard is found on the right, and his cross flies across goal with Haaland just inches away from getting a toe to it at the back post.
46'
HUGE CHANCE FOR HAALAND!
The offside flag saves his blushes, but what a start to the second half that almost was. Dortmund fly forward with Reyna and Hazard exchanging passes before the USMNT star slid Haaland in on goal. Horn blocks his shot away having come off his line before the offside flag was correctly raised.

SECOND HALF UNDERWAY
A half-time change for Dortmund as Moukoko replaces Brandt at the break.

BELLINGHAM ON TARGET!
Dortmund finally get another shot on goal as Dahoud recovers a clearance out to the edge of the Cologne area. He slides the ball to his left and Bellingham but his shot at goal with his weaker left foot is straight at Horn along the ground.

MISTAKES AT THE BACK
Dortmund are playing a dangerous game with possession at the back as Cologne's pressing has forced a few unforced errors in this first half. So far, the hosts having been able to directly profit from one of the moments of blunder.
35'
DUDA LEVELS!
Cologne are back level as Duda steps up against Hitz and sends the goalkeeper the wrong way with his spot-kick. It was Katterbach's shot which hit the arm of Bellingham and the penalty was given.
34'
COLOGNE PENALTY!
After a VAR check, a penalty is given to Cologne after a handball against Bellingham.
32'
DUDA FIRES WIDE!
A cross from the left comes through to Duda at the back post of Dortmund's area, but after controlling the first pass he can't get his shot on target from close range.
31'
HAALAND ALL ALONE!
Once again it's a long ball from Can into Haaland and Dortmund's No.9 goes to work. He battles with Mere for the first ball before turning onto his left. He goes past another defender before shooting back across goal just inside the Cologne area, but drags this one wide of the mark. He's almost impossible to stop.

LOOKING FOR CONTROL
Dortmund now showing patience on the ball once again, looking to take more control of the ball. At the moment it's Can/Hummels seeing most of the ball, before they look long for Haaland over the top. It's what has them ahead, but hasn't worked since then.
23'
FIRST EFFORT ON GOAL
Czichos powered forward from the back to find Jakobs in the Dortmund area on the left, and his cut back for Hector is a good one. But his effort flies high over Hitz and the Dortmund goal.

COLOGNE PROBING
After a slow opening 15 minutes, the hosts have improved in the last few here. A lot more possession and patience on the ball. They're not finding much space through the Dortmund midfield, but there also not letting their visitors get forward at the other end.

RECORD HAALAND
Haaland has beaten the record of his teammate Sancho to become the youngest player in Bundesliga history to score 33 goals.

BIG CHANCE!
Almost a second for Dortmund already as Reyna is sent in down the right by Bellingham. His cut back in front of goal is perfect for Hazard to run onto, but his shot from right in front of goal - just six yards out - is blocked by the recovering Cologne defence.
6'
PERFECT START
1 shot, 1 goal for BVB with that ruthlessly clinical finish from Haaland. Dortmund are looking long for their striker again with Hummels picking a pass this time. Czichos and the Cologne defence must be alert to that, with Dortmund controlling the possession in these early stages.
3'
WHAT A GOAL FROM HAALAND!
Dortmund have been on top so far and take advantage of their early pressure. Can sends a long ball into the Cologne box which Haaland controls beautifully on the run with his left. He drifts beyond Mere, keeping the ball away from the Spaniard before slotting home through the legs of Horn. A stunning finish.
2'
SITTING DEEP
Cologne have begun this game on the back foot with Dortmund taking immediate control of possession. It's Drexler who is actually operation up front, with Duda closest to him. The early signs are a 4-4-2.

HAALAND: "I KNOW I CAN DO EVEN BETTER"
Erling Haaland has said that while he wants to become the best goalscorer in the Bundesliga, winning games for Borussia Dortmund comes first. "I want to be the best goalscorer in the Bundesliga," he told France Football magazine. "But I'm not someone who thinks about records all the time. It's not my thing. I think of my team and to help it as best I can. Nothing else. I try to work as hard as possible to become the best footballer that I can be," he said. "So I work hard - as hard as I can. As hard as my body is capable of taking."
CAN ELVIS PERFORM TODAY?
Elvis Rexhbecaj is Cologne's five-goal top scorer in 2020/21, followed by Ellyes Skhiri, who scored two of his four goals in the reverse fixture. All told, Cologne have scored 20 times this season - the second-lowest return after Schalke, and only one more than Haaland.
SLOW-STARTING DORTMUND
Dortmund have scored 39 of their 52 Bundesliga goals this season in the second half of matches - that's 75 percent.

COLOGNE TEAM NEWS
With J. Horn suspended and Bornauuw out through injury, Czichos line ups alongside in defence alongside Mere and Katterbach. Ehizibue started the 2-1 defeat to Union at right-back, and Markus Gisdol sticks with a four-man defence rather than reverting to the three-man backline that underpinned the 2-1 win in Dortmund earlier in the season. Crystal Palace loanee Meyer drops out of midfield in place of Drexler, while Club Brugge-owned Dennis is waiting in the wings with Duda in the lone striker's role.
BVB TEAM NEWS
Guerreiro and creator-in-chief Sancho had already missed a handful of games, with Morey and Reus now ruled out, too. Meunier stepped up to the plate in defence, and does so again here, even with Akanji fit enough for the bench once again. Brandt, who opened the scoring against Hertha, assumes a more advanced role in Reus's absence, with US teenager Reyna alongside him. One man whose place in the side can never be questioned is Haaland.
