BAILEY CLOSE AGAIN!
Another effort on goal from him after Wirtz's pass forward. Bailey moves onto his left foot on the edge of the Freiburg box in the middle of the pitch and forces a save from Müller.

STAYING UNBEATEN?
Leverkusen are heading for victory here, which will take them to fourth place and keep their unbeaten start to the season intact - the only unbeaten record still going after six weekends.
83'
GREAT HIT FROM PETERSEN!
Jeong's cross from the left goes all the way to the other side of Leverkusen's penalty area, but Petersen meets it with a sweetly-struck half-volley. It's headed for the far corner, but Hradecky is across to make a solid save. Lovely strike from Petersen to get that on target from a tough angle.

FINAL PUSH
Three changes at once from Streich with Kwon, Jeong and Demirovic all on and into the attack for the final 10 minutes or so.

TAH HEADS IN!
A huge goal in the context of the game as Leverkusen get their two-goal lead back. Demirbay wins a corner with his shot deflected behind, and he takes it himself, curling the ball in towards the penalty spot and Tah leaps to head it back across goal and beyond Müller's reach.
74'
BAILEY NOT FAR AWAY
Leverkusen are still gunning for more goals as well as Bailey shoots from range. On a good day, that one finds the top corner. But today it floats wide of goal.
72'
FREIBURG BACK IN IT!
We have a game on our hands, people. The super-sub does his job and Freiburg are back. Sallai finds Grifo on the right, and his fantastic low cross goes between Tah and Hradecky, beyond Höler, and find Petersen at the back post who slots home. His third goal of the season.

LEVERKUSEN LOOKING FOR MORE
The away side aren't settling on the current scoreline. With Tah and Demirbay on, the attack-minded play is ongoing. Bailey is finding plenty of space on the right flank and looking to make the most of it.

WHAT A GOAL!
A stunning strike from Nadiem Amiri has Leverkusen two goals up, and it comes from another Freiburg mistake. Höfler it is again whose pass on the left is wayward, and Leverkusen pounce. Wirtz finds Amiri, who races forward before cutting inside past Santamaria before curling a superb shot past Müller.

DIABY BOOKED
A caution for the Frenchman now after a late challenge on Kübler.
59'
DIABY FORCES A SAVE
The Frenchman has options around him as he approaches the Freiburg penalty area, but decides to curl a shot looking for the far top corner. There's not enough strength behind it though and Müller gathers.
55'
FREIBURG PROBING
The home side making a better start to this second half, improving on their end to the first. Hradecky not been tested yet but Streich will be happy with their start.

HEINTZ IN THE BOOK
He's the second Freiburger booked, this one for a challenge on Bailey.
47'
GRIFO WORKING HIS MAGIC!
A tidy one-two on the left sends Grifo away and he's afforded too much time and space by the Leverkusen defence. He reaches the edge of the penalty area and shoots at goal, curling his strike just wide of the mark. If Freiburg are to get back onto this one, you feel it will come from him.
46'
BACK UNDERWAY!
No changes at the break for either side as we get the game back underway here. An entertaining first half, what's to come in the second?

CLOSE FROM SINKGRAVEN
The left-back is up in the Freiburg box and on the end of Wirtz's clipped cross into the box, but his volley is blocked by Kübler.
42'
ALARIO AT THE DOUBLE!
It's a brace for Alario just before the break and Leverkusen have turned this game around before half-time. Alario had a shot blocked but Leverkusen recycled the play well with Wirtz playing Lars Bender into the box on the overlap, and his cut-back into the box was met by Alario who curled it home at the near post past Müller. His 5th of the season!

39'
END-TO-END STUFF
Freiburg doing well to keep Leverkusen's pressure controlled, and they're looking dangerous on the counter-attack themselves with Schmid, Sallai and Grifo working together down the right flank. Hradecky has had more work to do than Müller at the opposite end of the pitch in this first half.
33'
WHAT A CHANCE FOR GRIFO!
So close to bringing Freiburg into the lead again. Günter's cross is headed back across goal by Schmid at the back post, and is then headed back at goal by Grifo. Hradecky somehow makes a reflex save to tip the ball over his own crossbar after the Italian's powerful effort.
29'
IT'S ALARIO AGAIN!
The fourth goal of the season for Alario and Leverkusen are level. It's Freiburg, though, who are really kicking themselves. Höfler's attempted pass back into defence is misplaced and Heintz can't reach it, leaving Alario to race onto the loose ball into the penalty area. Müller comes out, but Alario slots the ball under him across goal with a tidy finish.
29'
FAST-STARTING FREIBURG
Freiburg have now scored four of their seven league goals this season in the opening 15 minutes of games - a league-best alongside Bayern Munich.
28'
BAILEY FROM RANGE!
Great strike from the Jamaican as he sends a left-footed shot at goal from range, dipping towards Müller, who is forced to parry it away uncomfortably.
25'
GRIFO NOT FAR AWAY
The Freiburg playmaker curls the forthcoming free-kick at goal with power behind it, towards the corner that Hradecky was covering. It glides just past the post with the Leverkusen No.1 looking a touch worried.

The Leverkusen centre-back is shown a red card for a tactical foul on Höler, pulling the striker back as he raced into the Leverkusen penalty area. It will be checked by Video-Assist.

WARMING UP
Leverkusen getting in the flow more and more now, as Amiri's shot takes a deflection behind off Santamaria for a corner - their first of the game. It's played short and eventually cleared, but positive signs for Leverkusen.
15'
RARE TOUCHES IN ATTACK
Leverkusen have struggled to get the ball forward and keep it there for any length of time so far. The space between defence and midfield has been closed-off well by Freiburg.

A GOAL RULED OUT!
Freiburg have the ball in the Leverkusen net once again here, but the offside flag is correctly raised. Leverkusen's high line almost caught out again with Höler running in behind. He then clipped the ball across for Schmid to superbly volley home, but Höler was offside when the initial pass was played.
7'
THE SET UP
It's a very attacking set-up for Leverkusen here, with Baumgartlinger alone in defensive midfield. A four-man attacking line is ahead of him before Alario, with Bailey, Wirtz, Amiri and Diaby.
3'
WHAT A START!
Well, that's how you kick-off a Bundesliga game! Lucas Höler latches on to Kübler's long ball down the line in behind Tapsoba. Hradecky stays put, so Höler flicks the ball past him with the outside of his right foot. A lovely finish from a close angle for his first of the season.

AND WE'RE OFF!
The away side get us underway in Freiburg.
Kick-off!
HERE WE GO...
Just minutes away from kick-off here in a wet Freiburg. The grass will be damp and the football will be slick. This should be a fun start to our Sunday double-header, with Hertha Berlin vs. Wolfsburg to come next.
FREIBURG TEAM NEWS
Christian Streich only makes one change to his side, but with that ensures there are two firsts for the season. For the first time this Bundesliga season, Nils Petersen starts a game on the bench and Lukas Kübler, who has replaced him in the starting line-up, makes his first start of 2020/21. With Kübler set to start at right-back, there could be a tactical switch on the cards for the Black Forest side, unless Vincenzo Grifo simply joins Lucas Höler up front.
LEVERKUSEN TEAM NEWS
Most of Leverkusen's regulars who were rested in the Europa League on Thursday start again in Freiburg. Peter Bosz makes six changes from that side which suffered defeat in Prague, including returns for the Bender brothers, Tapsoba and Sinkgraven in a completely new back four - returning to the first-choice look. Compared to the last Bundesliga outing, however, there is only one change and that is youngster Florian Wirtz starting in midfield ahead of Exequiel Palacios.
THE LEAGUE'S SECOND-BEST DEFENCE
With just three goals conceded in their first five games, Peter Bosz's Leverkusen side boats the league's second-best defence with only Borussia Dortmund letting in fewer goals. A clean sheet today would give them a huge chance of taking all three points.
ONE KEY MAN IN, ONE OUT
Vincenzo Grifo and Nils Petersen are Freiburg’s two-goal top scorers in 2020/21. The former has one goal in six career outings against Leverkusen; the latter two in eight. Grifo starts in attack today, while Petersen is waiting in the wings as a substitute.

ALARIO WATCH
Alario has scored in back-to-back Bundesliga matches for the first time, and is Leverkusen’s top scorer so far this term with three goals in four league games. The Argentine starts once again today looking to extend his scoring run in the Bundesliga, proving that life in Leverkusen can be fine in front of goal without Havertz and Volland.
A TEST FOR FORTRESS FREIBURG
Freiburg are unbeaten in their last five Bundesliga home matches. Their last defeat on Black Forest soil came at the hands of Leverkusen on Matchday 29 of 2019/20. Streich’s side are winless in four league games, however, and have won only one of their last 10 meetings with Leverkusen.
