LEIPZIG GO FIFTH!
It's a big win for Leipzig as they make it seven Bundesliga games unbeaten to climb into the top five. Nkunku gave them a half-time lead after rounding Kobel to get his fifth league goal of the campaign. Dortmund skipper Reus replied early in the second half with his third Bundesliga goal of the season, but Leipzig continued to create chances. The impressive Nkunku hit the post before he teed up Poulsen for the winning goal. The Dane scored for the third league match running by turning the ball home at the back post, and in so doing he gave Leipzig their fourth home win in a row in the league. Dortmund's four-match winning streak in the Bundelsiga comes to an end. A third defeat of the campaign means they now trail leaders Bayern Munich by four points.

FOUR MINUTES LEFT...
We're into additional time... and Kobel gets away with a badly timed slip. It would have been a goal but Adams took a heavy touch to allow the Dortmund keeper to recover.

CLOSE FOR DORTMUND!
A bit of panic in the Leipzig area and a shot is deflected behind. The home side did drop points in injury-time last week against Eintracht Frankurt....

BOTH SIDES CHANGE UP
A few changes for both sides with Nkunku getting a big hand as he's replaced. Leipzig still looking the better side - they've had 15 attempts at goal to Dortmund's six.

HUMMELS HEADS ON GOAL
Mats Hummels gets a header on target from a corner but it's straight at the keeper. Dortmund have enjoyed a bit more of the ball since falling behind for the second time but there have been no major concerns for Leipzig as yet.

MUKIELE GOAL DISALLOWED!
A great cross and a great header - but Mukiele was offside. Poulsen was taken off right after he scored, while Moukoko has been sent on to shake up Dortmund's attack.

POULSEN PUTS LEIPZIG IN FRONT!
Szoboszlai plays in Nkunku on the left and he picks out Poulsen at the back post. The Dane sensed his moment to time his run perfectly and bundle home the lead goal. A goal and an assist for Nkunku, and Poulsen has now scored in his last three league matches.

OFF THE POST FROM NKUNKU!
This game is getting a bit wild with a real end-to-end feel. It's Leipzig who go agonisingly close to going in front though as Nkunku hits the post after first producing not one but TWO double dragbacks to create space for himself in the area. Outrageous!
61'
DOUBLE SAVE FROM KOBEL!
The Dortmund keeper is called into action again, first pushing away Nkunku's header from a corner and then beating away Szoboszlai's fierce cross-shot on the follow up. Swedish attacker Emil Forsberg is on to try and turn the screw for Leipzig.

SZOBOZLAI WIDE AGAIN
The Hungarian tries his luck from distance once more but this is a poorer effort that goes well wide.

REUS LEVELS!
Out of nowhere, Dortmund equalise! It's a super goal too as Meunier slips a great ball through for the captain. Reus controls the ball with his left foot and whips it past Peter Gulacsi with his right. The visitors level with their first shot on target.

LEIPZIG THREATEN AGAIN
Some intricate passing on the edge of the penalty box sets up a chance for Yussuf Poulsen inside it - but he can't force the ball home. Szoboszlai then fires over from range.

BETTER FROM BVB
Julian Brandt gets away down the right but he can't find Knauff with his cross.

ATTACKING CHANGE
A signal of intent for Dortmund as they make a positive change at the break. It's Leipzig who start the second half well though - Szoboszlai having his shot from the edge of the box blocked away.

LEIPZIG IN CONTROL
It's all going to plan for the home side. Nkunku has been the standout performer and, after he was denied by Kobel from close range inside 15 minutes, he cleverly rounded the Dortmund keeper to get the only goal of the game after 29 minutes. Leipzig have looked a good bit sharper than the visitors so far, and will feel they fully deserve their half-time lead. Bellingham had Dortmund's only real chance of note - but his own teammate prevented it from hitting the net.

DORTMUND STRUGGLING
Dortmund have forced a couple of corners but it's not really happening for them. Adams was earlier perhaps a little unfortunate to go in the book for colliding with Bellingham.

THIRD DORTMUND MAN BOOKED
Witsel the latest player carded after he stretches in on Adams.

BELLINGHAM CLOSE!
Dortmund get a corner which is initially cleared. The ball is worked back into Bellingham by Thomas Meunier but his close-range effort from 10 yards is blocked by his own teammate Donyell Malen! Malen did his best to get out of the way. That's the closest the visitors have come.

ANGELINO VOLLEYS WIDE
Leipzig continue to get bodies forward but Angelino can't control a difficult effort at the back post.

QUICK BOOKINGS FOR DORTMUND
Bellingham goes in the book for tugging back Szoboszlai and Dortmund skipper Marco Reus follows him immediately for protesting the decision. The visitors need to regain some control of the game.

NKUNKU SCORES FOR LEIPZIG!
Leipzig's player of the season to date gets his fifth league goal of the campaign. It comes from a simple enough ball in behind from Josko Gvardiol. Nkunku times his run well to get on the end of it, skips to his left past Kobel and then slots home. That's the French attacker's 11th goal in all competitions this term.
26'
LEIPZIG STILL PUSHING
It's evened up in terms of possession but with the in-form Nkunku on song again, the home side look the more likely to break the deadlock. They have had four attempts at goal to none.
21'
HEADER ON TARGET
Nordi Mukiele gets his head to a corner but it's a weak effort that Kobel gathers easily.
16'
LEIPZIG CLOSE AGAIN!
Nkunku drifts across the area and his shot is kept out by a combination of Dortmund defenders and the keeper. The home side getting on top.
13'
GREAT SAVE KOBEL!
FIrst big chance of the game. Christopher Nkunku glides through the Dortmund defence after being played in by Tyler Adams and is denied by a brilliant save from Gregor Kobel in a close-range one-on-one. From a tight angle Dominik Szoboszlai sidefoots the rebound across the goal and wide.
12'
DORTMUND STILL COMFORTABLE
Decent spell of passing for Dortmund now but defences are very much on top at this point.
9'
HOME SIDE BOSSING THE BALL
Leipzig are getting plenty of touches - they've had 64 percent of the ball so far - but they have still to carve out a chance of note. A left-wing cross from Angelino that was comfortably cleared is the best they've managed so far.

LEIPZIG FINDING THEIR FEET
There's a cracking atmosphere inside the ground but the home side haven't been able to pick their way through the Dortmund defence just yet.

TIME FOR BIG LEIPZIG WIN?
Marsch watched his side lose narrowly and draw with Paris Saint-Germain in two games they could have won in the UEFA Champions League. He feels it's time for his side to get their reward against a top side. "We’ve had our difficulties but have learned from them and just have to put it all together," he said. "I hope that we’ve been able to take confidence from the recent games. Against Dortmund, it’s time for us to beat a top team!"
DORTMUND DOMINATING THE FIXTURE
BVB have won the last three league matches between the sides - and won the DFB Cup final against Leipzig last season.
ROSE BACK HOME
Dortmund boss Marco Rose is returning to his home town for today's game. He knows the home side are capable of hurting Dortmund, but hopes his team can get the upper hand. "It'll be intense," he said. "There'll be a lot of challenges... Leipzig are a team that work with intensity off the ball. That may well leave us with some space to exploit in behind their defence."
MARSCH WARY OF DORTMUND
Dortmund are without star striker Erling Haaland again, but Leipzig head coach Jesse Marsch is still worried about the quality the visitors have in attack. "I saw his quality first hand at Salzburg," the American said of Haaland. "He is an incredible player that anyone would like to have in their team. However, they also have other players who can score goals. Marco Reus is an experienced and classy player, and also Donyell Malen, Thorgan Hazard and Julian Brandt are having good seasons. It will be a big ask for our defence."
A BIG GAME ON THE WAY
There are nine points between Leipzig and Dortmund in the table but both teams are in good form in the league. The home side are unbeaten in six in the Bundesliga, while BVB have won their last four. With Leipzig hoping to get back into the top four again this season and the visitors looking to keep pace with Bayern Munich in the title race, this is a pivotal encounter for both.
