AUGSBURG BEAT BAYERN!

Augsburg land a huge, huge win. The home side barely strung an attack together in the second half, but more importantly kept Bayern at arm's length for the most part. Weinzierl's side move four points clear of the drop zone; Bayern's lead could be cut to three tomorrow.

NIANZOU'S ON

An extra body to throw in the Augsburg box as Nianzou replaces Pavard. This Augsburg performance does not warrant late heartbreak...
85'

MUSIALA!

Musiala drives into the box, but is denied by Gikiewicz. Oxford clears the loose ball only as far as Müller, whose goal-bound shot is deflected behind. Bayern protest as a goal-kick is awarded, but to no avail.
83'

DOUBLE SWITCH

Weinzierl switches up his attack. Jensen and Cordova could do some damage if Bayern overcommit in search of the equaliser...
80'

LEWY CHANCE!

Bayern's best chance of the half as Müller sets up Lewandowski for a shot from less than 10 yards out. He catches it well, but it's too close to Gikiewicz. It's parried to Davies, who sidefoots the rebound over.
79'

STRONG AS AN OX-FORD

Upamecano slips a pass into the channel for Müller. He goes shoulder to shoulder with Oxford, who wins the battle and shepherds the ball back to his goalkeeper.

CHANGES

Dorsch and Pedersen have worked their socks off. Gruezo and Moravek are on as Augsburg prepare for a Bayern onslaught...

WIDE FROM DAVIES!

Davies is basically playing as a winger, just as he did in his younger days in the MLS. The Canadian turns his man, before flashing an effort narrowly wide form 18 yards.
71'

GOAL-SAVING CHALLENGE!

Musiala disguises a pass into the six-yard box for Davies. He controls well and is about to shoot, before Framberger slides in to hook the ball behind. Sensational defending.
69'

SANE OFF

Sane's had a quiet night at the office - credit to Gumny for that. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is on for the final 20 minutes or so...

BAYERN SECOND BEST

Bayern are yet to muster a clear-cut scoring chance, since reducing the arrears in the first half. Augsburg have simply not allowed them to play. Is Nagelsmann heading for his third defeat as Bayern coach?
59'

FRESH LEGS

Framberger's on for Augsburg, in a bid to counter the threat posed by Davies, who's taken up a very advanced position on the left wing, and Sane.
57'

CONCERN IN THE AUGSBURG DEFENCE

Bayern's deliveries from set-pieces haven't been quite as precise without Kimmich, but this one from Sane is flicked on at the near-post by Upamecano. Pavard loops a header back into the danger zone, where Gikiewicz drops the ball as he tangles with Müller before the referee whistles for a foul.
54'

GORETZKA!

Upamecano has the ball at his feet on the edge of the Augsburg area. The Bayern defender feeds Goretzka, who blazes over on the spin, on his left foot. The pressure is mounting...
52'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Davies and Musiala replace Richards and Sabitzer for Bayern. Two very attacking changes as Bayern chase the game.
51'

OVER FROM LEWY!

Big chance for Bayern, and one Lewandowski would usually bury. Gumny tries to chest a right-wing cross into the path of Gouweleeuw. It falls straight to Lewy, who volleys over.

HALF-TIME: AUGSBURG 2-1 BAYERN

Handbags at the end of the first half result in bookings for Hahn and Hernandez. Bayern trail at the break, but that Lewandowski goal changes everything.

BAYERN HIT BACK!

Perfect response from Bayern. Pavard's right-wing cross is flicked on by Müller towards Lewandowski, who buries his volley. That's his 14th of the season and Bayern's 101st Bundesliga strike of the calendar year. One more needed for the record!

AUGSBURG STRIKE AGAIN!

What is going on at the WWK-Arena?! Zeqiri picks the pockets of Sabitzer midway through the Bayern half, and shifts the ball out to the left for Iago. He hangs up a peach of a cross, attacked by Andre Hahn with a towering downward header. Neuer got a hand to it, but couldn't keep it out. Augsburg 2-0 Bayern!

ADVANTAGE AUGSBURG!

Augsburg cap a promising spell with the opening goal. A dangerous ball across goal followed by a corner met by Zeqiri were dealt with well enough, but the next attack delivers. Iago's cross into the six-yard box finds Zeqiri. He's under pressure from Hernandez, but steers it back to Pedersen, who drives low and hard into the bottom corner of Neuer's goal.

HALF CHANCE

Gikiewicz's first touch evades him as he receives a routine pass. It scuffs his studs and goes just wide of the open goal. Upamecano flicks on the ensuing corner, but Lewandowski is on the stretch and toes over.

ROUTINE TAKE

Bayern win a free-kick wide on the right, but Gnabry plants it straight into the arms of Gikiewicz.

HIGH ENERGY ENCOUNTER

Bayern are moving the ball with pace and precision, but Augsburg are getting men behind the ball and flying into the challenges. Gnabry and Sane were involved in and around the box just now, only to be crowded out and forced back.

WARNING SHOT!

Pinball in the Augsburg box! Omar Richards takes on the bouncing ball, but skies over on his weaker right foot. The home side are very lucky that didn't fall on his other side, or to Robert Lewandowski. The Bayern No.9 has scored more Bundesliga away goals against Augsburg than any other team he's faced (10).

WATCH: BAYERN 2-1 FREIBURG

Bayern Munich ended Freiburg's unbeaten start to the season, with Leon Goretzka and Robert Lewandowski on target for the Bundesliga leaders at the Allianz Arena.

THE SEASON SO FAR

Bayern went into the international break four points clear of second-placed Dortmund. They've taken 28 points from a possible 33, whilst scoring a record 40 times after 11 matches. If they score today, the record champions will equal - and possibly break - Cologne's 101-goal record for most Bundesliga strikes in a calendar year. Augsburg, by contrast, are the division's third lowest scorers and sit 16th, only a point above the automatic relegation zone.

MORE ON THOSE TEAMS

Augsburg head coach Markus Weinzierl makes three changes to the side beaten 1-0 by Wolfsburg prior to the international break. Former Bayern midfielder Niklas Dorsch replaces the injured Tobias Strobl, while Iago and Andre Hahn come in for Ruben Vargas and Alfred Finnbogason. Niklas Süle and Kingsley Coman are missing for Bayern, with Benjamin Pavard and Serge Gnabry starting in their stead. Alphonso Davies has not long returned from international duty with Canada, so Omar Richards begins at left-back.
