ADDED TIME
Four minutes of it for Frankfurt to see this over the line - or Freiburg start a great comeback.

NOT OVER
They might need two goals but Freiburg have by no means thrown in the towel. Instead, they're throwing everything they have into attack for the final few minutes.

GÜNTER!
Another crucial clearance off the line by Frankfurt, this time to deny Günter's drive across goal after the ball had bounced across from the right.

WHY WE LOVE FOOTBALL
You can look at all the stats and think Freiburg should be running away with this, but football isn't always about sheer numbers. Frankfurt have been clinical at one end and solid at the other. Freiburg have just found no way through.

YELLOW FOR TOURE
Only brought on because Chandler was on a booking, Toure now has one himself after taking down Günter.

BORRE OVER
The Colombian takes down a long ball on his chest and decides to go it alone from 25 yards. High and wide, but he gives a thumbs up for the pass.
66'
WIDE FROM HÖLER
Chances still coming from Freiburg. An interception does end up falling to the striker thanks to Eggestein, but he bends wide from 18 yards.

NOW KAMADA
You can get a sore neck trying to keep up with this end-to-end play. Up the other side, Kamada has a shot across goal from the right. Only inches wide.

GRIFO!
And now Freiburg again, this time even closer as Grifo sees a volley cleared off the line by Tuta, with Trapp well beaten.
56'
FLEKKEN KEEPS IT AT TWO
Now it's Frankfurt's turn again as Lindström drives one from 18 yards. Flekken has clear sight of it and can fling himself to his right to turn it around for a corner.
53'
YELLOW FOR TUTA
Pretty clear yellow for the defender as Schade is again sliced down.
51'
OFF THE POST!
Closest Freiburg have come today as Höfler rattled the left post.
49'
SCHADE TAKEN DOWN
The substitute tries to drive through the middle but is caught by Chandler, who receives the first card of the day.
47'
BORRE!
First chance of the half falls to a Frankfurt player, though, as Borre tries to go across goal from the right. Simple enough stop for Flekken.

ATTACKING CHANGE
Christian Streich has decided he needs to switch things up so sends on striker Kevin Schade for Nico Schlotterbeck. It will see a change to a back four.

UNUSUAL
It's the first time this season Frankfurt have had a two-goal lead at half-time. It's the highest deficit Freiburg have had after 45 minutes this term.

GOES ALL THE WAY IN!
Grifo nearly curled a cross all the way in earlier, but Kostic has now done so for Frankfurt. A free-kick far out on the right, bending in towards the far post. Kamada is the closest to it but doesn't get a touch and it bounces in with Flekken stranded.

LINDSTRÖM FOR FRANKFURT!
Flekken had just made a smart save but he couldn't do anything about this. Frankfurt drive forward, Jakic is half-tackled on the edge of the box but the ball falls kindly for Lindström and he slots a tidy finish beyond the Freiburg goalkeeper.

TIDY PLAY
Now it's Frankfurt's turn to combine in the final third. Kamada takes his time to pick out a pass from the right, attempting to cut it back towards the penalty spot, but it's intercepted.

TRAPP AGAIN TO THE RESCUE!
A wicked cross from Grifo on the left, swinging it in on his right towards the far post. No doubt it is a cross and he's looking for a teammate to get something on it, but it sails all the way through and Trapp has to react very quickly to throw out a left hand at the last second and turn it clear, because it was bending in.

FREIBURG DENIED!
The home side have suddenly clicked into gear. A couple of quick passes on the edge of the area ends with Höler's side-footed effort from 15 yards out and central, but Trapp gets down well with a strong right hand to claw the shot away.

First attempt of the afternoon for the hosts as Kübler hangs a cross up to the far post. Grifo gets up above Tuta but can only plant his header at Trapp.

LINDSTRÖM DENIED!
The Dane is in again, this time down the right onto Kamada's pass through. He tried to go across Flekken but the Freiburg goalkeeper sticks out a right boot to deny him.

END-TO-END
A lively start in Freiburg with both teams looking to get the ball up the far end as quickly as possible. Borre was a bit too eager on this occasion and was offside as he tried to run in behind.

A TIGHT FIXTURE
It’s tight in the head-to-head record between these sides, with Frankfurt just edging it with 14 wins to 13 (plus seven draws). Freiburg have only beaten Schalke more often in the Bundesliga 17 wins) than they have Eintracht, but it’s only one in the last eight encounters (D4, L3). Still, the Black Forest club are yet to lose at home to the Eagles with Christian Streich on the touchline (W3, D4). Streich missed Frankfurt’s 2-0 win here in August 2018 due to a back problem.
LAST-MINUTE FRANKFURT
FREIBURG’S EXCELLENT START
EUROPA-PARK STADION’S THIRD GAME
Freiburg’s first two matches at their new home have seen a 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig and 3-1 win over Greuther Fürth. Across stadiums and seasons, Christian Streich’s side are unbeaten in their last nine Bundesliga home games (W5, D4). Ten would see them equal their club record from 2012.

FRANKFURT TEAM NEWS
Eintracht claimed a dramatic 2-1 win away at Fürth last matchday but make two changes to their line-up. One is enforced with Martin Hinteregger picking up a knock. He’s replaced at the back by veteran Makoto Hasebe. The other sees Timothy Chandler come in for Erik Durm at right wing-back.
FREIBURG TEAM NEWS
Despite defeat last time out at Bayern, Christian Streich sticks with the same team that started the 2-1 loss. Nico Schlotterbeck was a doubt but confirmed ahead of the game he would be fit, and so starts in the back three.
