Now it’s about working to turn that around and speaking to the players individually. It is really important that we are communicating well. We have to recapture the things we were doing well in a lot of games. We need to be brave and not just sit back and stop playing proactive football. That’s not our game and not how we want to play. We have to put aside the ego of each individual. The main thing is that we get back to winning ways."

Frankfurt overturned a 2-0 deficit at home to Bayer Leverkusen and soared back to win 5-2 on Sunday. It enabled them to put three points between themselves and their former coach Adi Hütter's current employers. Oliver Glasner’s side look to have finally clicked after a slow start to the season, and now find themselves only six points off Leverkusen in third.

Gladbach have suffered heavy defeats in their last three outings at Cologne (4-1), home to Freiburg (6-0) and most recently away at RB Leipzig on Saturday (4-1). They've slipped to 13th as a result, and begin the day only two points clear of the relegation play-off spot.
