FULL-TIME! BAYERN 1-2 GLADBACH
Gladbach stun Bayern to end a run of four games without a win. Borussia Dortmund can cut the gap at the top to six points if they beat Eintracht Frankfurt tomorrow.

POWER OF THE PUNCH
Sommer gets both fists to a probing Wanner delivery. He catches Pavard in the follow through, but the free-kick goes the way of Gladbach.

TIME ADDED ON
Four minutes added on at the Allianz Arena as Sommer gets fingertips to a Gnabry cross. Can Gladbach hold on?

THURAM ON
Or perhaps not... Stindl makes way for Thuram.

MAN DOWN!
Stindl goes to ground after being caught on the foot by Musiala. No malice in that. The Gladbach skipper should be OK...
85'
PLEA!
What a chance to wrap up the game! Plea cuts inside and bends goalwards, but Süle steams in to divert the shot behind for a corner. That was goal-bound all the way!
83'
TEEN TITANS
Great feet from Wanner - Havertz-esque - as he turns away from his marker and finds Copado. The ball's drilled in towards the near post, but Sommer beats Lewandowski to it.
82'
DESPERATE ATTEMPT
Bayern play keep-ball, but Kimmich's shot from outside the box is always rising. Will they get another clear-cut opening?
79'
GLADBACH CHANGES
Plenty of Bundesliga experience between Messrs Benes and Herrmann. The latter's scored in Munich before, too.

LEWANDOWSKI DENIED!
Bayern undo Gladbach with a quick throw, but Lewandowski can't beat Sommer. This happened on Matchday 1, before Lewandowski broke through to secure a point. Can he repeat the trick, and double his tally for the day?
77'
UNDER THE COSH
Süle gets a bit too much behind a pass back towards Ulreich. The Bayern No.2 manages to clear, though, as Gladbach's attackers swarm in and around the Bayern area.
75'
HISTORY FOR WANNER
Paul Wanner, who only turned 16 on 23 December, becomes Bayern's youngest ever Bundesliga player. Lucas Copado, 17 and the nephew of sporting director Hasan Salihamdizic, is also on for the final 15 minutes.

GLADBACH CHANGES
Jantschke and Neuhaus have put in a tremendous shift in their respective roles. Beyer and Plea are on. How long before Nagelsmann turns to his bench made up entirely of youngsters who have never played in the Bundesliga before?

OFF THE BAR!
Gladbach are on the ropes as Lewandowski collects the ball inside the area and fires against Sommer's crossbar. Bayern have to make one of these openings stick!
60'
INCHES AWAY!
Lewandowski clips a ball over to Müller, who's beaten to it by Jantschke, right in front of Sommer's goal. Kimmich tries to turn it in at the back post, but can't get a touch.
59'
MÜLLER!
Roles reversed as Lewandowski whips over a peach of a cross from deep. Müller meets it with his outstretched right boot, but can't get enough on his effort to seriously trouble Sommer.
57'
MUSIALA!
Superb football from Bayern as Musiala exchanges passes with Tillman, before drawing a flying save from Sommer with the outside of his right foot.
51'
BAYERN CONTAINED
Bayern haven't gone all guns blazing - Gladbach aren't letting them. The visitors are pressing high in the opposing half, making it very difficult for Nagelsmann's men to build up a head of steam.
46'
HERE WE GO AGAIN
The ball's rolling again in Munich. Julian Nagelsmann and his players were out a good five or so minutes ahead of Gladbach. Will the Bayern coach get the desired response?

HALF-TIME! BAYERN 1-2 GLADBACH
Bayern took a deserved lead through Lewandowski, but Gladbach scored two goals from set-pieces to complete a shock turnaround. Breathtaking stuff at the Allianz Arena. You do not want to miss the second half!

OFF THE POST!
Wow! Lewandowski collects the ball inside the six-yard area, almost on the by-line. He sells his marker a dummy and spots an opening inside Sommer's near post, but can only find the far upright with his shot. Müller's follow-up strike is cleared in front of the empty net by Neuhaus.

ULREICH TO THE RESCUE
Ulreich keeps Bayern in the game with a superb diving save to deny Embolo. The Gladbach striker's reaction underlines what a strong piece of goalkeeping that was. He thought he'd scored.
44'
NEUHAUS!
Almost a brilliant third for Gladbach as Neuhaus skins Sabitzer. He's foiled by the on-rushing Ulreich, though, before handling the rebound. Let-off for Bayern!
40'
MASTER-ALA
Brilliant from Jamal Musiala to back-track and disposses a Gladbach attacker, just when it was opening up for the visitors in front of the Bayern area. Eighteen and an attack-minded player - superb stuff!

GLADBACH LEAD!
Unbelievable! Bayern are all at sea again as Luca Netz whips a corner into the six-yard box. Lainer meets it at the near post, flicking a header beyond Ulreich's despairing dive. That's two chances and two set-piece goals for the Foals, who were completely outplayed in the first 25 minutes.
27'
GLADBACH EQUALISE!
Well, well! Gladbach catch Bayern cold with a quickly taken free-kick. Süle's attempted clearance is half-hearted at best, and the unmarked Neuhaus takes full advantage by thundering a volley past Ulreich from 10 yards.
25'
DEAD-BALL THREAT
Kimmich floats a free-kick towards the head of Gnabry, but he's a fair way out and can only land the ball in the arms of Sommer. Right idea.
23'
OVER FROM SABITZER
Sabitzer takes aim from distance, but doesn't trouble Sommer. The Austrian has that in his locker, as Bayern experienced first-hand in his Leipzig days.
19'
BAYERN LEAD!
There it is! Bayern forge ahead, and deservedly so. Süle pings a sensational cross-field ball out to the right wing. Musiala and Gnabry are involved, before Müller lays it off for Lewandowski. He turns into the box to face goal and hammers an unstoppable effort high past Sommer's left hand. That's his 20th Bundesliga goal of the season, and ensures Bayern match their own record of scoring in 65 straight league matches!
17'
BAYERN IN CONTROL
Gladbach just cannot get out as Musiala collects possession on the edge of the area. He feeds Kimmich, whose ball in towards the penalty spot is snuffed out.
13'
LEWANDOWSKI!
Neuhaus gets the ball in the Bayern box, but he's bundled off the ball - legally, it must be said - by Süle. Ulreich bowls it out to kick-start the counter. Sabitzer's ball isn't the best, but a mistake by Lainer lets in Lewandowski. He turns away from his man, only to be denied by Sommer.
9'
CHANCE!
Lewandowski leaves it for Sabitzer, who fires against the wall. Gnabry's follow-up from inside the area forces a strong save out of Sommer.
8'
PASS AND MOVE
Bayern move the ball quickly again. Tillman and Kimmich are involved, before Elvedi intervenes with a foul on Lewandowski. Shooting territory for the world's best striker...
5'
ONE-WAY TRAFFIC
Bayern have Gladbach hemmed in their own half. Lewandowski chases down a back pass, but is penalised for catching Sommer. Suffocating stuff from the leaders in the early stages.
2'
LEWY ON THE PROWL
Gnabry drives up the middle and threads a ball into the box for Lewandowski. He takes aim, but is offside as he hits the side netting. Warning for Gladbach.

LET IT SNOW!
Under way in snowy Munich, in the first Bundesliga match of 2022!
Kick-off!
GOAL MANIA
Bayern have scored in each of their last 64 Bundesliga matches. If the Gladbach net bulges here today, they will equal the record of scoring in 65 consecutive games, which they set themselves between 2012 and 2014.
BAYERN'S BOGEY TEAM?
Gladbach have won five and drawn one of their last 10 competitive games with Bayern, but have only won two of their last 10 on Munich soil.

FIFA'S BEST
Robert Lewandowski finished second to Lionel Messi in the recent Ballon d'Or vote, but was named the innaugural Striker of the Year on the back of his continued record-breaking efforts in front of goal. A scorer of 48 competitive goals last term, the 2021 European Golden Shoe and Golden Player winner has struck 30 times in all competitions at the halfway point in 2021/22. He has to win the FIFA Best Men's prize for the second year in a row, surely?!

MORE ON THOSE TEAMS
Julian Nagelsmann names the strongest starting line-up at his disposal, but has had to call on youth and reserve players to fill the bench. Joshua Kimmich is back in the side, albeit as part of a makeshit back three, while Sven Ulreich deputises for Manuel Neuer in goal. Leroy Sane, Leon Goretzka, Kingsley Coman and Alphonso Davies are among the absentees. Gladbach also appear to be playing three at the back, with Stefan Lainer and Luca Netz in the wing-back positions. Florian Neuhaus starts in central midfield, but forwards Alassane Plea and Marcus Thuram have to make do with places on the bench.
