JUST WON'T SIT
A Kostic cross does find a black shirt and the ball pops up to Borre, who's about to pull the trigger before a Bielefeld leg toes it away from him in the nick of time.

OKUGAWA WIDE
The Japanese playmaker latches onto a ball right of goal but blasts his effort off target.
79'
BIG RESULT
Bielefeld will be up to 14th - at least overnight - if it stays like this, having started the evening in 16th. Frankfurt are missing out on the chance to go fifth ahead of the weekend's remaining fixtures.
77'
PACIENCIA NEEDED
The Portuguese striker does well to spin Pieper on the by-line. He has time to lift his head and pick out a teammate, but fires the ball straight into the expecting arms of Ortega.
74'
CONTRASTING CHANGES
Bielefeld send on the wise head of midfielder Castro in place of (as it stands) matchwinner Wimmer, while Frankfurt throw caution to the wind with another attacker in Ache for Chandler.

WIMMER!
The Austrian tries to put the cherry on top for the night with some quick feet inside the Frankfurt box as he sits down N'Dicka and creates space, but he can't wrap his right foot around the ball to get his eventual effort on target. That's also his final action of the night.
68'
KOSTIC > N'DICKA > SAME RESULT
For the fourth time tonight Kostic finds the head of N'Dicka with a header. He's getting closer now with this one forcing a save out of Ortega. Still no goal, though.
66'
SIDE NETTING
Kostic has been mostly a provider today but tries his luck himself from a tight angle. The Serbian only finds the side netting.

HOUR UP
With 60 minutes on the clock, here come the changes...
JUST NOT HAPPENING FOR FRANKFURT

LINDSTROM!
The Dane nutmegs Vasiliadis on the right as he drives into the box. His cutback causes an almighty scramble in the centre before the ball eventually comes back to him a couple of yards out. Ortega bravely gets in the close-range block.
51'
RODE CAUTIONED
Bielefeld try to break from a Frankfurt corner and the Eintracht skipper hacks down Wimmer trying to stop it. Referee Reichel plays advantage with Okugawa still in possession and driving forward but goes back to book Rode once play stops.
46'
HALF CHANCE
Hasebe is on for Hinteregger but it's the wing-backs who are into the action as Kostic crosses deep. Chandler gets there at the far post but can't control his effort.

BORRE!
Frankfurt really should have at least one by now. They do hit the target on this occasion as Borre latches onto Chandler's cutback, but the Colombian puts his effort too close to Ortega, who saves with his feet.
33'
N'DICKA AGAIN
It feels like the majority of Frankfurt's chances have come from Kostic corners onto the head of N'Dicka. We get another example of that here with the same result as the French defender misses the target.

BIELEFELD DOUBLE - FT. RABONA
The visitors again take advantage of Frankfurt failing to clear their lines. They play it right to Wimmer, who cuts inside and pulls out the Rabona in the box! Schöpf throws his chest in the way and diverts it past Trapp at his near post.

LINDSTROM!
Eintracht go long through Sow up to Lindstrom, who keeps the ball ahead of him with a good header, but he slices his rushed effort well wide from left of goal. The Dane applauds the ball in any case.
13'
KAMADA
The Japan international - one of three Samurai Blues in these two teams - has a go from the edge of the box but it's straight at Ortega.
9'
UNUSUALLY EARLY
Wimmer's goal is Arminia's earliest in a Bundesliga game since they were promoted back up in 2020. They'd previously done the same last week when scoring in the eighth minute against Fürth.
8'
N'DICKA AGAIN IN THE BOX
Another corner, this time from the left. N'Dicka is again the man to get his head to it, leaping like a salmon, but it's blocked at close range by the head of Vasiliadis standing in front of Ortega.

CHANDLER TOO
Eintracht come forwards through the middle with Sow, who plays the ball right to Chandler. He cuts back inside on his left but hits it well over.

N'DICKA OVER
Kostic swings in a corner from the right which N'Dicka meets with his head, but it's well over.

FOND MEMORIES
KRAMER ON THE BATTLE
"We're in the middle of a battle to stay up," were the words of Bielefeld coach, Frank Kramer, who brings his third-from-bottom side to Frankfurt looking to add to the eight points they have picked up in their last four games. "Against Eintracht we want to deliver a really good performance and we've been preparing very meticulously for that," Kramer continued.
GLASNER WARY
Despite tonight's visitors having won just once in 14 Bundesliga visits to Frankfurt, Eagles' coach Oliver Glasner warned his side to be wary of a Bielefeld side that earned a 1-1 draw when the teams last met on Matchday 3. "Bielefeld work very hard and have robust attacking players," the tactician explained. "They have a clear structure; we expect them to play in a 4-4-2 diamond, or at least with two strikers."

BIELEFELD TEAM NEWS
As for the visitors, Frank Kramer makes just one change from their 2-2 draw with Fürth. It’s a usual one as Janni Serra starts up top, as he’s done in the last two away games at Leipzig and Freiburg, in place of Bryan Lasme.
FRANKFURT TEAM NEWS
Frankfurt have three key players back as part of the only changes from last weekend’s draw at Augsburg. Kevin Trapp, Filip Kostic and Martin Hinteregger all come into the side. Diant Ramaj, Almamy Toure and Makoto Hasebe drop to the bench.
