ROLLS REUS!

Dortmund's captain fantastic scores his second of the contest. He collects Hummels' fabulous through-ball, showing an outrageous first touch to take it in his stride, and makes no mistake with the finish. Eleven goals and eight assists in 15 meetings with his former employers - some record!

GOALS GALORE

Dortmund have scored at least twice in all 12 of their home Bundesliga games this season, totalling 37 goals. That's a league high shared with leaders Bayern. The top two have also claimed 30 points from a possible 36 in front of their own fans.
79'

DENIED!

Sommer gets down well to deny Brandt a fifth BVB goal. Dortmund have been brilliant today.
78'

MIDFIELD SWITCH

Kramer replaces Kone in the Gladbach midfield. He'll put himself about in the closing stages, even if it's only to prevent further embarrassment.
74'

MOUKOKO MAKES IT FOUR!

Dortmund are running riot! Wolf finds Reus in a similar position to where he put away BVB's third. The captain sidefoots a telling ball across goal, and Moukoko - stealing in ahead of Scally - applies the finish with his left foot.
70'

WOLF!

What an introduction! Reus collects a pass on the edge of the Gladbach area. For a second, it looks like he might go for goal, but he has other ideas. An intutitive pass for the overlapping Wolf is lashed home, off the underside of the crossbar, with aplomb. Surely game over.

STRAIGHT SWAPS

Moukoko, Wolf and Schulz - the latter another with Gladbach history - join the action for Dortmund. Malen, Hazard and Guerreiro make way. Joe Scally is on for Gladbach right-back Stefan Lainer, meanwhile.
66'

A WHISKER AWAY!

Hazard pings over a fierce cross from the right. Malen tries to get in-between the Gladbach defenders, but can't make a connection.
62'

WOODWORK!

Hofmann collects a cross-field pass from Plea. He breezes past Hummels into the box, before finding the angle of post and bar with Kobel beaten. Almost a stunning goal from the former Dortmund youngster.
62'

POT SHOT

Speculative from Malen as he tries to catch out Sommer from distance. The Dutchman doesn't trouble the Gladbach No.1, but the BVB fans applaud the idea.

BVB MUCH IMPROVED

Dortmund clearly out to prove a point following those heavy losses to Leverkusen and Rangers, and they're succeeding.

SOMMER SAVE

Hazard goes to shoot on the run, but Bensebaini nips in as he goes to connect. It's a painful one for the Belgian, who wins a free-kick that Guerreiro proceeds to plant straight at Sommer.

HERE WE GO AGAIN!

Attacking change from Gladbach as French forward Marcus Thuram replaces defender Marvin Friedrich. Hütter looks to be switching to a back four. As for Dortmund, Reus is OK to continue.

HALF-TIME! DORTMUND 2-0 GLADBACH

Goals from Gladbach old boy Marco Reus and Donyell Malen have Dortmund in control at the halfway point, but Kobel's made some big saves to preserve BVB's clean sheet.

TIME ADDED ON

Four additional minutes in Dortmund. The hosts have slowed the pace right down following those personnel-related stoppages.
44'

REUS IN A DAZE

Dortmund's captain looks very groggy as he receives treatment from the physios. Rose and Co. won't be taking any risks, given it's a head injury.
42'

DORTMUND CHANGE

Kobel catches Reus with an elbow as he punches clear a cross. Bellingham's also moving gingerly, but it's Zagadou who makes way after pulling up with a muscular problem moments ago. Marin Pongracic is on in the BVB defence.
37'

KOBEL AGAIN!

Gladbach continue to make in-roads in the final third as a ball is cut back to Neuhaus. He's dead central and hits it first time from inside the area, but Kobel makes the block with his trailing leg.
32'

MALEN MAKES IT TWO!

Dortmund stretch their lead in the Battle of the Borussias! Malen starts the move on halfway, before finding Reus and continuing his run. He tears past Friedrich onto the return ball and squeezes an effort past Sommer, who gets a touch but can't keep it out.
32'
Donyell Malen

CHANCE!

Embolo slips a pass into the box for Hofmann. He's denied at close quarters by the spread-eagle Kobel, with Bensebaini milimetres from applying the finishing touch to the loose ball. Meanwhile Brandt's on for the injured Reyna.

SWING AND A MISS

Hazard drives up the right, before crossing towards edge of the Gladbach area. It looks like being an easy one for Ginter, but he completely miscues and concedes a corner. Luckily for the former BVB defender, the ensuing set-piece comes to nothing.
14'

YELLOW PERIL

Bensebaini drags down former Gladbach man Thorgan Hazard. He can have no complaints, and will have to watch his step from here on out. Zagadou went into the book minutes earlier for an over-zealous aerial challenge on Lainer.
6'

REYNA!

Gio Reyna and Thorgan Hazard take a swing at a bouncing ball on the edge of the box. Reyna connects first, the US midfielder catching it really well and forcing Sommer into a full-stretch save.

Dortmund break at speed. Malen has room to attack, but Friedrich forces him wide and onto his weaker left foot, with the eventual shot not troubling Sommer in the Gladbach goal.

KICK-OFF IMMINENT

The teams are out in rainy Dortmund for the 100th Battle of the Borussias of the Bundesliga era.

HOPE FOR DORTMUND

BVB have one of the best home records in the Bundesliga this season with 27 points from 11 games so far. That haul stems from nine wins and two defeats, while they're averaging three goals per game on their own patch. Gladbach, by contrast, have struggled on the road this term, winning just twice in 11 matches. They've also drawn three and lost six, and are averaging nearly two goals against per game.

TEAM NEWS - DORTMUND

BVB boss Marco Rose has made three changes to his team in the wake of the defeat to Rangers during the week. Akanji is out with injury, while Brandt and Witsel drop to the bench. In come Can, Hazard and Reyna, the latter making his first start in 177 days (since 27 August last year).

TEAM NEWS - GLADBACH

Adi Hütter has named an unchanged side following last week's 3-2 win over Augsburg, making it a third consecutive game with the same starting XI. It's the first time in almost three years that that has happened with Gladbach.

HOW WILL DORTMUND LINE UP?

Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji and Thomas Meunier have all been ruled out of today's game, leaving significant gaps in the BVB team. Who will replace them? It's likely that Emre Can will drop in at right-back in place of Meunier, with Zagadou continuing in defence for Akanji. There's no like-for-like replacement for Haaland, so the load is set to be shared across Marco Reus, Julian Brandt and Donyell Malen up front.

50 UP FOR BELLINGHAM

Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is set to make his 50th Bundesliga appearance today at just 18 years, 236 days, becoming the second-youngest player in league history to reach that milestone after Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz (18 years, 226 days).

WATCH: MARCO REUS IN FOCUS

The Dortmund attacker made his top-flight breakthrough at Gladbach before returning to his boyhood club 10 years ago. With nine goals and six assists in 14 Bundesliga outings against the Foals, it's safe to say the Germany international doesn't take it easy against his former employers.

HÜTTER CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC

Gladbach are somewhat on the up after a win and a draw in their last two games ended a run of four straight losses in all competitions. Foals coach Adi Hütter said his side will head to the Signal Iduna Park with cautious optimism of extending their positive sequence. "We are still shipping too many goals, but we mustn’t forget that we put in a good performance in a difficult situation against Augsburg (3-2),” the visiting coach said. “BVB have a lot of strengths, but also weaknesses. We will try to come up with a good game plan in order to pick up points in Dortmund."

ROSE EYEING REACTION

For Dortmund coach Marco Rose, the challenge is to lift morale following Thursday's reverse against Rangers in the Europa League. "We sat down together yesterday, and it went on a bit longer than usual," the BVB tactician said of his team talk after the 4-2 loss. "We want to put in a transformed performance," Rose said ahead of Gladbach's visit, adding, "It's a home game that we definitely want to win."

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Welcome to the 100th Bundesliga meeting between Dortmund and Gladbach! For the statisticians among you, BVB have won 40 of the teams' previous meetings in the German top flight while the Foals have 31 wins. Who will come out on top today?
