HALF TIME
A terrific end to the half there for the hosts, who head in for a deserved break a goal ahead thanks to Embolo and Hofmann strikes in the opening 45. Leipzig are still well in this, of course, Nkunku's earlier equaliser keeping things interesting.

KILLER COUNTER !
Amazing! Leipzig are on the attack but suddenly give up possession and Gladbach are away. Embolo spots Hofmann racing through the middle and releases the No. 23 with a pass that sets up a one v one. Cool as you like, Hofmann slides the ball past Gulacsi for 2-1.

NKUNKU IN CRUISE CONTROL
Nkunku's 18th goal of the season, then. He's netted 11 in the second-half of the campaign, with only Robert Lewandowski scoring more (15) in that time.

LEIPZIG HIT BACK
Nkunku - who else - races onto Silva's pass as Leipzig punish the slow-to-react Gladbach defence, the France international finishing with a tidy shot across Sommer and in.

LEIPZIG CHANGE
Gvariodl is off, subbed off, that is. Tedesco was clearly worried about his man being shown a second yellow here. Halstenberg comes into the action for Leipzig.

Domenico Tedesco is readying a sub .... is Gvardiol coming off on account of him treading a fine line while on that yellow card?

GVARDIOL WARNED
Gvardiol catches Hofmann and the Gladbach man goes down in a heap. Gvardiol has already been booked and walks nervously towards the referee, who gives the Croatian a talking to.

FOND MEMORIES FOR LEIPZIG & TEDESCO
TEDESCO'S "POSITIVE EMOTIONS"
His team are chasing a top-four spot in the Bundesliga and with a Europa League semi-final, second leg and DFB Cup final in the offing, Leipzig coach, Domenico Tedesco, was asked if he's feeling the strain. "I don’t feel any pressure. When you’re in the [league] position that we are with three games to go, of course you want to achieve something. We only have positive emotions. We’re all really pumped. We’re not feeling any sense of pressure."

LEIPZIG EAGER TO GET BACK ON TRACK
Leipzig looked dead certs for a top-four finish based on their rip-roaring form under Domenico Tedesco. However, last week's stunning loss at home to Union Berlin has raised slight doubts for a team chasing trophies in two other competitions. Win three points against Gladbach, however, and Leipzig would be back on course and could even go into third place, depending on what happens over in Leverkusen.
TOP TEN GLADBACH'S GOAL
Tonight's hosts have had a disappointing season by their standards but with a victory against Leipzig tonight, could jump into 10th place in the standings, depending on the result in tonight's other game. Considering how the Foals have fared in 2021/22, finishing in the top-half of the table would be welcomed, albeit not entirely warmly.
THE CLOCK IS TICKING !
We're all set for a Monday-night, Bundesliga Matchday 32 cracker between Gladbach and high-flying Leipzig, with both teams set to go in search of maximum returns for differing reasons.
Welcome along!
