The Old Lady have turned this game around in the second half and it's an own-goal from Bauer which has them ahead for the first time. A corner is cleared out to Richter on the right and he curls in a fine cross which Bauer miscues with his attempted clearance, with the ball rolling home off his left foot.

Richter picks out Selke with a fantastic lofted free-kick to the back post and Selke has time to control and shoot at goal. But Burchert parries his effort behind.

A tidy one-two between Richter and Ekkelenkamp sends the most recent substitute into the Fürth area. He has to control the ball in the air while moving past a defender and goes for a volleyed shot at goal, but he sends it high and beyond the goal.

Hertha's fifth change comes with over 20 minutes to play as Richter comes on for Maolida.

Looks like a hamstring issue for the Frenchman, and he's signalling that he's having to come off.

Just a minute after coming on, the Dutchman has his first goal for the club. What a debut and what an introduction. A corner swings in from the right from the left foot of Dardai, and Ekkelenkamp rises highest to meet it in front of goal with a powerful header.

Selke is on for Belfodil and there's a Bundesliga debut for Ekkelenkamp, the late summer window signing from Ajax.

A first shot on target for Hertha, as Belfodil races forward down the left and cuts inside to shoot from the corner of the Fürth area. His effort is straight at Burchert though.

Hertha have made a bright start to this second half, with Zeefuik and Serdar combining well down the right, but no shot on goal comes from his cut-back. The hosts dominating possession in these early minutes here and looking to get forward with intent.

A first yellow card of the game goes the way of Boateng for a foul in midfield.

Hertha counter superbly down the right with Zeefuik found in acres of space. He fires over a cross from the right which goes beyond Serdar and Belfodil in the middle and then Maolida puts the ball wide of goal sliding in at the back post. Another half-chance goes begging for the hosts.

Hertha have had 60% of their attacks come down the left flank so far, with Plattenhardt getting up and down the pitch well.

The home side are having trouble connecting midfield and attack here, with Serdar looking to do most of the work on his own thus far. We've seen little of Belfodil or Maolida, which is a credit to the Fürth defence as well.

Boyata can't continue and it's 17-year-old Gechter coming on for his second Bundesliga appearance, the captain of Germany's U18 team.

The Hertha captain has gone down here in pain off the ball. It looks like it's something in his right leg, and this would be a huge blow to the home side who already have several defensive absentees. He's limping off.

He scored twice last weekend, and should have at least hit the target here with the game's first big chance. Serdar picks up the ball in midfield and coasts forward past three or four Fürth defenders chasing him. He moves onto his right as he reaches the Fürth area and curls a shot for the far corner, but it goes inches wide beyond the post. That one looked destined for the bottom corner.

Hertha break well with Maolida played into the Fürth area down the left. He cuts the ball back into the middle with Tousart found in front of goal, but the Frenchman's shot from around 15 yards is well-blocked by the visiting defence.

Some unforced errors in possession are hindering Hertha so far, and not allowing Dardai's side to find their flow in these early stages. Boateng is looking to calm his teammates down from his deep midfield role.
