INTO THE FINAL MINUTES...

Leipzig have been simply perfect today to double their goal tally for the season in a single game, with six to make it 12 in total for the campaign.
83'

PIATEK ON

A rare bright moment for Hertha today as Piatek comes on for his first appearance of the season.
80'

LEIPZIG WANT MORE

The hosts are not letting up here as they continue to dominate the ball and push on for more goals. Haidara is being given some freedom to press on from midfield, and his finding plenty of space.
77'

HAIDARA MAKES IT SIX!

Six of the best from Leipzig who are trouncing Hertha here. It's a fine finish from the top of the Hertha area after a lay-off from Brobbey, who battled Zeefuik off the ball to set that one up.

STANDING OVATION

Nkunku comes off to a standing ovation here in the Red Bull Arena, with Henrichs on in his place.
70'

MAGIC FROM NKUNKU!

The Frenchman caps off an absolutely outstanding performance with a stunning free-kick. It's right in the middle of goal, edge of the Hertha area and he walks up to curl the ball over the wall and into the top corner beyond a stranded Schwolow who can only watch.
68'

MONSTER PERFORMANCE FROM POULSEN

A goal, half an assist and a game-high 17 dules won for Poulsen. A fantastic display in attack.

DOUBLE CHANGE

Richter and Belfodil are on in place of Ekkelenkamp and Selke here.

LEIPZIG PENALTY!

Stark is booked for bringing down Nkunku in the Hertha area.
55'

EARLY CHANGE

Indeed Gvardiol is not risked as Simakan comes on for him in the Leipzig defence.
54'

GVARDIOL DOWN

Leipzig's defender is down clutching his right leg here, towards his hamstring. He's taking treatment and may come off.
53'

NOW MUKIELE!

The chances keep on coming for this rampant Leipzig side here. It's fantastic slick passing from them into the Hertha area with Haidara into Nkunku with his back to goal. It's a slightly heavy pass ahead of Mukiele to lay him in for a shot, and the right-back fires over having gone for power over precision with his strike.

NKUNKU AGAIN!

Another huge chance for Nkunku to add to the scoring. Haidara is attempting to push through midfield but a challenge from Dardai actually sends the Frenchman in behind the Hertha defence. He's to the left of goal and goes across goal with his shot, but blazes over the Hertha goal.
50'

ON THE FRONT FOOT AGAIN

Leipzig have started this second half well once more, pressing Hertha well and enjoying most of the ball. The hard work of Poulsen in attack is keeping the Hertha defence on the back foot.

HOPE FOR HERTHA?

IT'S THREE BEFORE THE BREAK!

Hertha haven't been able to handle Leipzig's set-pieces and this one leads to the third goal of the half here. Angelino swings in a free-kick from deep to the back of the Hertha area, and Mukiele is left alone to meet the ball. He volleys with his first touch and fires the ball beyond Schwolow into the far bottom corner.

POULSEN NOT FAR AWAY

Another free-kick causes panic in the Hertha defence as Orban wins the header from Angelino's cross. It's put back across goal and Poulsen is lurking, but he can't get a touch to it to poke it home.
42'

CALM ON THE BALL

Leipzig brimming with confidence in possession both in defence and in midfield. Klostermann, Orban and Kampl, in particular, have been fantastic on the ball so far.

KLOSTERMANN DENIED!

Angelino swings a free-kick into the middle, with Orban challenging to win the initial header. Poulsen then knocks it down and Schwolow is hurt as he attempts to save in front of his own goal with Klostermann challenging him. But the defender is able to nudge the ball over the line from the floor. However, offside is given after a check from Video-Assist with Poulsen given off.

FORSBERG OFF THE BAR!

Leipzig could and should be three up here as Kampl calmly lofts a ball over the Hertha defence to match the run in behind of Forsberg. He moves the ball onto his left and lashes a shot at goal, but this one cannons back out off the crossbar.

POULSEN AND NKUNKU ON FIRE

The first goals of the season for Poulsen and Nkunku have Leipzig flying here. The pair have played key roles in each other's goals, too.

NKUNKU AGAIN!

A big chance for another Nkunku goal. He's looking unplayable here, as he is sent in behind again after fine work from Kampl in midfield. He's forced onto his left foot and his shot is straight at Schwolow this time.
25'

DARIDA BOOKED

A hard challenge from Darida on Mukiele earns him the first yellow card of the game.
23'

POULSEN MAKES IT TWO!

And just like that, Leipzig have doubled their lead. It's a throw from Gulacsi into midfield which comes to Haidara and he beautifully sends Nkunku in behind down the left. He races into the area and can either shoot or pass, and decides rightly to slot the ball across goal for a simple finish from Poulsen.

DARIDA HAS A GO

A first shot on target for Hertha as Darida tests Gulacsi from 20 yards, but his left-footed effort is well saved by Gulacsi.

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?

Nkunku's first goal of the season is also the first time Leipzig have scored inside the opening 30 minutes of a game this season.
19'

POULSEN NOT FAR OFF

Angelino has a touch of space on the left flank to float a cross into the Hertha area where Poulsen is charging towards the back post. He goes for a diving header, but just can't reach the ball as he stretches for it. Leipzig not dwelling on their opening goal.
16'

NKUNKU OPENS THE SCORING!

And Leipzig have their lead thanks to Nkunku. It's Klostermann who brings the ball out of defence and he looks for Poulsen with his pass. The Dane does superbly to dummy the ball and let it run through for Nkunku to chase. He's clean through on goal and onside, and chips the ball over Schwolow in style to open the scoring.
15'

SHOWING CONFIDENCE

Hertha have beaten the Leipzig press so far in possession in their defence. They've had little pressure on the Leipzig goal, but are looking solid in midfield and defence with Tousart a part of the three-man backline.

HOW GOOD IS IT TO HAVE FANS BACK?

Leipzig fans have been in fine voice so far, while the away allocation for Hertha has been filled with a short trip from the German capital.
11'

SHOTS BLOCKED

Leipzig pressing around the Hertha area once again with Mukiele and Nkunku having several touches in the opposition area. The ball is laid off to Haidara to strike, but his effort is blocked by the Hertha defence which is standing strong so far.
6'

BRIGHT START FOR RBL!

The home side have been on the front foot here, looking confident with the ball and pushing forward whenever they're in possession. In defence, the frontline is pressing high to win the ball back from Hertha. An intense start.
4'

SO CLOSE FOR FORSBERG!

Schwolow comes out of his goal to deal with a long ball forward from Klostermann. But his clearance is miscued and the ball comes to Nkunku, who then lays it off for Forsberg to shoot at goal with the Hertha goalkeeper stranded. But Dardai makes a crucial interception with his head.
3'

THREE-MAN DEFENCE

Despite the late change with Silva out, Leipzig remain with a three-man defence. It's Klostermann, Orban and Gvardiol at the back.

HERE WE GO!

We're underway in Leipzig on this Saturday afternoon...
Kick-off!

LATE CHANGE FOR LEIPZIG

There's some late team news from Leipzig with Emil Forsberg in to start ahead of Andre Silva.

KICK-OFF COMING UP!

We're rapidly racing towards kick-off here in Leipzig, with over 20,000 in the stands here at the Red Bull Arena.

TALE OF THE TAPE

Hertha actually come into this game two points better off than Leipzig through the first five games of the season. Marsch said after drawing at Cologne last time out that earning points was all Leipzig needed to do now, as they look to kick-start their campaign under the new American head coach.

SILVA'S HUNT FOR GOALS

Andre Silva has only scored one goal - a penalty - since swapping Eintracht Frankfurt for Leipzig, but he does own five career goals from just four games against Hertha.

WATCH: INSIDE THE HERTHA DRESSING ROOM

The away side are ready to rock inside the Red Bull Arena.

HERTHA AGAINST THE BIG BOYS?

With victories over Bochum and Greuther Fürth, Hertha have won back-to-back Bundesliga games for the first time since May 2020. Beating the two promoted sides this season is a success to build on, and there's few better tests than to face Leipzig.

NOW THE TIME FOR MARSCH?

Hertha could be the perfect opponents to turn things around: Leipzig are unbeaten in their last seven Bundesliga meetings with the Old Lady, their last loss coming back in December 2017. Marsch has won just 29 percent of his games since becoming Leipzig coach - one of five in the Bundesliga. Predecessors Julian Nagelsmann, Ralf Rangnick and Ralph Hasenhüttl had percentages of 57, 57 and 48 respectively.

HERTHA TEAM NEWS

Dardai has also made a number of changes and there's a potential change of formation to match that of Leipzig's. Tousart could be part of a three-man defence alongside Stark and M. Dardai, or we'll see a four-man backline. It remains to be seen exactly how the Old Lady line up when the whistle is blown. Ekkelenkamp has earned his first start after his scoring debut from the bench, while Piatek is on the bench for the first time this season with Selke leading the line against his former side.

LEIPZIG TEAM NEWS

Jesse Marsch has made three changes to his side which drew with Cologne last weekend - the same number as in each of Leipzig's last four games with Marsch rotating his squad. Today there are starts for Poulsen, Angelino and Klostermann as Leipzig appear to have switched to a three-man defence. Silva is partnered by the Dane in attack, with Szoboszlai and Forsberg on the bench.
