TOUSART OPENER
Hertha make the breakthrough! Tousart's speculative effort from distance is dropping as it flies towards goal. Schwolow doesn't like the looks of this one. The goalkeeper is down, but the ball gets through his attempted grasp and that will go down as a bit of a howler, not that Tousart cares.

SCHALKE TEAM NEWS
Schalke were knocked out of the cup in a comprehensive 5-1 loss at Hoffenheim on Tuesday that cost coach Frank Kramer his job. Matthias Kreutzer is in temporary charge and makes five changes to the team but sticks with the back three due to a lack of fit centre-backs. Mohr, Flick, Latza, Mollet and Larsson are the ones to drop out. Brunner, Aydin, Krauß, Drexler and Bülter come in.
HERTHA TEAM NEWS
Hertha weren’t in DFB Cup action during the week so make two changes from the team that lost 3-2 at RB Leipzig last week. They see Sunjic and Richter drop to the bench, replaced by Kanga and Ejuke.

RELEGATION SIX-POINTER
Wins do not come easy for Hertha and Schalke, separated by just two points towards the foot of the standings. Hertha haven't won in five, while promoted Schalke are without victory in four league matches - a run that cost Frank Kramer his job as head coach this past week. Make no mistake: this is a HUGE contest in the context of the relegation battle.
