BAYERN GO TOP!
At least for 24 hours. Hertha gave it a good go, but that three-goal blitz in a first half for the ages was decisive. Choupo-Moting the man of the moment once more. How will Union Berlin respond in Leverkusen tomorrow?

SANE'S BACK
Bayern's No.10 returns after four games out with a thigh injury. He's scored five times in the Bundesliga this season - 10 in all competitions. Gnabry, who's faded in the second half, makes way.

HERTHA PROBING AGAIN
Just signs from Hertha that they can get something out of this as Neuer gobbles up a cross at the feet of Lukebakio. It would be some comeback, if they can pull it off.

UPA SAYS 'NO'
Lukebakio threatens to run in on goal, but Upamecano channels his inner Davies with a superb recovery challenge. A fraction late, and he'd have been sent off. What a season he's having at the heart of the Bayern defence!

TRIPLE CHANGE
Fresh legs for Hertha and hopefully fresh impetus. They've been outplayed since the restart.

DAVIES INJURED
Davies limps off with what looks like a hamstring problem - just weeks until Canada's 2022 World Cup opener, too. Hernandez is on, while Coman replaces Mane.

DISALLOWED GOAL!
Bayern celebrate a fourth as Rogel turns in Musiala's cross that was bound for Choupo-Moting. A VAR check rules it out for an earlier offside against Davies, though.

Almost a dream team goal as Musiala combines with Choups, but takes one touch too many and drives his shot against a defender.

HERE WE GO AGAIN!

SELKE REDUCES BAYERN'S LEAD!
There's a VAR check for a possible foul by Pavard on Selke. The referee doesn't need long - it's a penalty. Selke steps up and calmly sends Neuer the wrong way for 3-2!

Goalmania in the capital. Richter sends over a cross, and Lukebakio slams in a sensational volley to give Hertha a lifeline.

CHOUPS AT THE DOUBLE!
He cannot stop scoring! Bayern with a quick one-two to leave Hertha with a mountain to climb. Choupo-Moting reacts first with a poacher's finish after a Goretzka shot was blocked. Within what feels like seconds, the Cameroonian nets a near carbon copy second goal, sliding in after Gnabry's cross was half cleared.

Hertha aim long for Richter. Selke helps it one, but Neuer is out in a flash to smother. No after-effects following injury.

MANE!
Patient, slick build-up as Bayern work the ball from right to left. Davies shifts a pass into the box for Mane, whose fierce shot from a tight angle is beaten away by Christensen at his near post.

CHOUPO-MOTING'S GOAL

MORE ON THOSE TEAMS
Neuer returns in goal for Bayern after three weeks out. Nagelsmann also recalls Davies, Goretzka and Gnabry after resting them from the start against Inter. Hernandez and Sane return to the bench, but Müller misses out once more. As for Hertha, Selke comes in for the injured Jovetic, while midfielder Boetius is preferred to forward Kanga.
