A DESERVED WOLFSBURG WIN
It's all over at the Volkswagen Arena, where the home team have picked up the victory - their first in 15 against Dortmund. Van de Ven opened the scoring early on and Nmecha (of the Lukas variety) sealed the win at the death. Dortmund's three game winning streak is ended, while Wolfsburg extended their own run to three victories in a row and are now seven unbeaten in the Bundesliga. They're up to eighth and on the brink of a European place, while Dortmund miss the chance to pull level with Bayern who kick-off any moment against Werder Bremen.

GOAL! NMECHA SEALS THE POINTS!
It's all over. Nmecha expertly steers home Wimmer's cross from close range to double the Wolves' lead and ensure all three points remain in Wolfsburg.

The board goes up to reveal there will be six minutes time added on.

DOUBLE CHANGE
Kovac calls on Roussillon and Svanberg to help see out the game. Dortmund still look short on ideas up front, Wolfsburg look solid in defence.

FIVE MINUTES TO GO!
Will there be some late drama or will Wolfsburg hold on for what will be a third win on the bounce? Dortmund are rapidly running out of time.

PASALIC ON
A fourth sub of the game for Dortmund and it feels like the last throw of the dice - Pasalic replaces Özcan in midfield, with 10 minutes to go.

RAPID BOOKING
Lukas Nmecha joins his brother, Felix, on the pitch and takes less than a minute to enter the book. Suppose that's one way to introduce yourself.

OFF THE BAR!
Hazard does well down the right before pulling it back to Guerreiro, whose shot is tipped onto the crossbar by the fingertips of Casteels. It turns out Hazard had ran the ball out of play so it wouldn't have counted but it was a good save nonetheless.

DOUBLE CHANGE FOR DORTMUND
Terzic calls for reinforcements, with Modeste replacing Malen and Hazard on for Süle. Moukoko may eventually move out wide but he's currently lining up alongside Modeste in a double-pronged attack, while Hazard now slots in at the right of defence.

HUMMELS TO THE RESCUE
What an intervention from Hummels. Wimmer running in behind and it looks as if he's played in with the perfect pass, but Hummels gets across to make a vital intervention. Top defending.

BELLINGHAM DOWN
After just mentioning Bellingham, he drives at the Wolfsburg defence and is looking for a penalty - which isn't given - as he hits the deck in the box. He looks to be struggling with his shoulder initially, but is back on the pitch and seems to be okay. Relief for his club and country there.

GOOD SAVE CASTEELS!
Dortmund think they're level but Casteels does well to repel Moukoko's effort. Terzic's visitors have been the better team at the start of this second period.

FLICK'S WORLD CUP RIGHT-BACK?
It must be said that Süle has been very good at right-back today. He's a constant outlet, often the furthest BVB man forward and twice has gone closest to equalising for his team. You wonder whether Hansi Flick has his former Bayern Munich charge in mind for a right-back slot at the upcoming World Cup.

WOLFSBURG AHEAD AT THE BREAK
The half time whistle is blown but not before Süle nearly hauls his team level. His shot from the right, and on the angle, is repelled by a combination of Casteels and post to ensure the home side go into the interval with a one-goal advantage. Van de Ven's first goal for the club is what has them in front and, overall, Wolfsburg have been good value for the lead.

BIG CHANCE!
It's the visitors' turn to cause problems from a corner as Süle has a lovely touch and gets a shot away on the turn but it flashes narrowly wide.
41'
JUST WIDE!
This is really nice from Wolfsburg, who are causing problems with how quickly they shift the ball to and from wide areas. Baku pulls it into the centre this time and Marmoush, who has been so lively tonight, controls on the edge of the box before firing inches wide of the post.
33'
LET OFF FOR DORTMUND
It's all happening... Firstly, Gerhardt finds space on the right and delivers a good cross into the centre but it's just behind Wind and his awkward header drifts wide. Wind breaks through again soon after but Süle covers well and times his tackle perfectly. From the subsequent corner, Guerreiro has to clear the ball off the line. BVB seem to wobble every time the Wolves push forward.
25'
"SQUARE IT!"
Marmoush breaks clear down the left and gets a shot away that Kobel saves at his near post. The Egyptian had Kaminski screaming for the ball to be squared and, had his teammate played it across goal, the Poland winger would surely have had a tap in at the far post.

MALEN GOES CLOSE AGAIN
Brilliant work from Malen just moments after his previous chance as he dances inside and forces Casteels into a much more difficult save but the Wolves man is up to the task. Moukoko then fires wide as Dortmund start to seriously threaten for the first time.
20'
MALEN AT FULL STRETCH...
... but it's straight at Casteels. Guerreiro created the opening with a ball out wide, finding Malen at full stretch in the centre of goal but he can only get a toe end to the ball and it's easy for the Wolfsburg 'keeper to collect. Better, though, from Dortmund.
18'
VAN DE VEN OFF THE MARK
It's worth noting that van de Ven's goal was his very first for Wolfsburg, and maiden strike in the Bundesliga. Meanwhile, there's a brief check for handball as Otavio challenges Moukoko but it's accidental and nothing given.
13'
DORTMUND PUSHING FORWARD
The goal has woken Dortmund up, and they needed waking to be fair. Bellingham, Brandt and Moukoko have started seeing a bit more of the ball but without posing Wolfsburg a headache yet.

GOAL! WOLFSBURG IN FRONT!
It's been a brilliant start from the Wolves and their endeavour has been rewarded with an early goal. Dortmund don't deal with Arnold's corner, which is flicked on at the near post and headed home from van de Ven from a couple of yards out. Dortmund not at the races thus far.

WOLFSBURG SHOULD BE IN FRONT
A lovely move from the Wolves sees the ball eventually land at the feet of Marmoush just inside the Dortmund box but his shot is down the middle and Kobel can tip over. He should have scored.

EXPECT GOALS
As we near kick-off, it's worth noting that there's been a combined nine goals in Wolfsburg's previous three league games and 10 in Dortmund's. This should be fun...
15 MINUTES TO KICK-OFF
Just quarter of an hour to go until we get underway in Wolfsburg, so consider this fair warning to pop the kettle on and position the snacks within arm's reach.

WIMMER DROPS OUT
There's just the one change out wide for the Wolves as well. Wimmer makes way for Marmoush on the right of their front three, with Kovac otherwise going with the same team that beat Mainz at the weekend.
REYNA ON THE BENCH
There's just the one change from the Dortmund side that beat Bochum last time out and, as expected, Reyna drops to the bench. In his stead is Adeyemi, while Moukoko leads the line.
WOLFSBURG STARTING XI
Casteels - Baku, Bornauw, Van de Ven, Otavio - F. Nmecha, Arnold (c), Gerhardt – Marmoush, Wind, Kaminski
WOLFSBURG SUBS
Pervan, Fischer, Lacroix, Waldschmidt, L. Nmecha, Brekalo, Roussillon, Svanberg, Wimmer
DORTMUND STARTING XI
Kobel - Süle, Hummels (c), Schlotterbeck, Guerreiro - Özcan, Bellingham - Adeyemi, Brandt, Malen - Moukoko
DORTMUND SUBS
Meyer, Reyna, Hazard, Modeste, Can, Passlack, Coulibaly, Pasalic, Papadopoulos
MOUKOKO MOTORING
Dortmund's main man recently has been teenage sensation Youssoufa Moukoko who hit a brace last time out to become the first 17-year-old in Bundesliga history to ever hit double figures for goals. Gio Reyna was also on target, but the young American still needs his workload to be managed and he could make way for either Karim Adeyemi or Thorgan Hazard.
WOLVES TO BE UNCHANGED?
As noted previously, Nico Kovac's hosts are flying at the moment so there shouldn't be much need to change the side tonight. Bartol Franjic, Josuha Guilavogui and Kevin Paredes miss out through injury and Max Kruse remains out of contention, but Kovac otherwise has a fully fit squad at his disposal.
A LOOK AT THE TABLE
As things stand going into Matchday 14, the Wolves are 11th after a six match unbeaten run (W3, D3) that's most recently included a 4-0 victory over Bochum and 3-0 win at Mainz last time out. It's gotten Wolfsburg moving in the right direction and means Dortmund will face a stern test of their own good form that includes three wins out of three and places them fourth. Victory tonight will take them level at the top with leaders Bayern Munich.
