BAYERN'S VICTORY GOAL
Bayern will be hoping that the morale boost they gained from a midweek DFB Cup demolition of Mainz will propel them to a first Bundesliga win in four games. Julian Nagelsmann's side saw Union Berlin overtake them at the top of the standings yesterday while Borussia Dortmund joined the defending champions on 37 points.
WOLFSBURG RESPONSE?
The Wolves were on an incredible run of six straight wins - and were unbeaten in 11 - until Werder Bremen stopped Niko Kovac's men in full flight last weekend. The River Islanders defeated the side from Lower Saxony on Matchday 18 before Union Berlin knocked today's hosts out of the DFB Cup in midweek. How will the Wolfsburg respond against the record champions?
