Bellingham with a curler from just inside the box. It's heading for the top corner but the goalkeeper sticks out a big paw to claw it clear.

Moukoko goes close!
The two Dortmund subs almost have an instant impact as Reus finds Moukoko, whose shot under pressure from 10 yards is well saved by Riemann.

Over from Malen!
Neat build-up from Dortmund as some first-time passes fashion some space. Malen jinks in from the left and gets a shot away but he loses his footing and the ball sails well over.
62'
Double chance!
A Bochum corner is only half-cleared to Osterhage, who unleashes a fierce left-footed drive. It's blocked by Süle but the ball comes to Stöger, who takes a shot himself, but it's straight at Kobel.

Riemann alert
Süle gets forward and crosses into the middle from the right but Riemann watches the ball all the way and plucks it out of the air ahead of Haller.
54'
Bellingham goes close
The English youngster finds space in a central position and gets a shot away. It takes two deflections en route and the ball loops up and goes just wide.
53'
Over from Stöger
The Bochum midfielder is first to a loose ball on the edge of the area but his left-footed strike is well off target.

Scrappy phase
It's all still a bit unsettled so far as the teams look to establish supremacy in this half.

All square at the break
Dortmund have seen more of the ball and created more chances so far, but Bochum are by no means out of this. They've looked dangerous going forward, particularly through Asano. You get the sense that the next goal will be decisive.

Wide from Hofmann!
A brilliant chance for Hofmann, who is unmarked at the back post as he collects a precise cross from Asano. The forward can only side-foot his effort wide of the target though.

Riemann again!
Guerreiro drills a low cross in from the left and finds Malen, cutting in from the right. The Dutchman shoots first time with the outside of his right foot, but Riemann is well placed to save.
39'
Brilliant from Riemann!
The Bochum goalkeeper is quick off his line to dive at the feet of Adeyemi, who had broken clear of the defence and was about to pull the trigger.
36'
Wide from Asano!
The Japanese midfielder scampers forward to collect a long ball forward, in the right-hand channel. He gets a shot away but Süle slides in to deflect it wide. Asano holds his head in his hands afterwards, aware what a great chance that was.

First booking
The Bochum defender goes into the book for hauling back Malen as he tried to get away down the Dortmund right.
27'
Wide from Adeyemi!
Dortmund should be ahead! Brilliant from Bellingham to skip past Losilla on the right and get an angled shot away from 10 yards. Riemann saves but the rebound falls kindly for Adeyemi. It bounces up and it's on his weaker right foot and Adeyemi can only send it wide from close range!
23'
No way through
All a bit too intricate from Dortmund around the edge of the Bochum box as they try to find a way through. The compact home side deal with the attack comfortably.
21'
Little lull
After the ferocity of the opening exchanges, the past few minutes have been considerably calmer. Most of the action is concentrated in the middle third.

Niklas Süle slots in for the injured Nico Schlotterbeck in the only change to the Dortmund team that beat Frankfurt 4-0. Captain Marco Reus, who yesterday signed a one-year contract extension with his boyhood club, is once again among the substitutes.

Thomas Letsch: "What could be better than a Friday night derby game? We will not hide. We have to try to allow as little as possible and when we get chances, we have to make use of them. It's all about the little things. We have to push it to the absolute limit over 90 minutes and be at 100 per cent in order to take points."

Bochum far from safe
Bochum begin the weekend with a two-pont cushion on the relegation play-off spot. However, they could fall back into the automatic drop zone if results go against them on Matchday 30.
Huge opportunity for Dortmund!
Taking advantage of Bayern's slip-up in Mainz, Dortmund have opened up a one-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga. They now just need to win their remaining five games to seal the deal.
