Bochum surely seal the deal!
With Wolfsburg pushing for an equaliser, Bochum manage to break forward on the counter and restore their two-goal advantage. A long ball forward from Riemann is headed on by Kwarteng, releasing Antwi-Adjei into space. The darts into the box and coolly slots it past Casteels to make it 3-1 for the home side.

Possible penalty call
The referee receives word in his ear from the VAR to have a look at a potential penalty decision for handball at Svanberg's free-kick just moments earlier. After consulting the pitch-side monitor, the referee sticks to his original decision and opts not to award Wolfsburg a penalty.

Half-time: Bochum 2-1 Wolfsburg
Bochum are deservedly ahead after an impressive first half in which they largely had matters under control. They looked to be taking a 2-0 lead into the interval, having kept their visitors at bay throughout the first 45 minutes, but a lapse in concentration allowed Svanberg to pull a goal back for the Wolves. How will that affect things going into the second half? We're about to find out!

Wolves back in it!
Having struggled in the final third all game and not looking like scoring, out of the blue Wolfburg pull a goal back. Wind flicks a clever pass over the defence for Svanberg to run on to, and the midfielder calmly slots it passed Riemann.

Bochum pull clear!
Stöger curls a corner in from the left and Bernardo leaps above his marker to head the ball in past Casteels at the near post.

Bochum lead!
The hosts had been building momentum and finally get their reward. A loose ball pops out to Osterhage on the edge of the Wolfsburg area and he lashes in his first Bundesliga goal in his 44th top-flight outing.

Almost one for the blooper reel
Casteels mis-controls a back pass, allowing the ball to roll under his foot and towards goal. The Belgian just managers to scamper back and clear it off the line though.

Unsuccessful tactic
Bochum have been floating a few crosses into the Wolfsburg box, trying to find Hofmann. He's a big, physical striker, but Lacroix and Jenz are big, physical centre-backs, and so far they've had no joy.

Over from Majer
Baku breaks forward down the Wolfsburg right and passes inside to Majer, lurking on the edge of the Bochum box. He spins and shoots, but his left-footed effort sails just over.

Bochum pressing high
Wolfsburg are trying to play their way out from the back, but Bochum's pressing is so well coordinated and so intense that they can't really get out of their own half.
