Full-time: Wolfsburg 2-3 Stuttgart

A seventh away win of the season for Stuttgart ensures Sebastian Hoeneß's side consolidate their position in third spot in the Bundesliga. Serhou Guirassy brought up his 19th and 20th goals of the season while Josha Vagnoman netted an eye-catching third. The Wolves went down fighting, with Joakim Maehle and Lukas Nmecha keeping the hosts in touch but ultimately, it's now nine games without a win for Niko Kovac's men.

Kovač's view on Stuttgart

"Stuttgart are a great team, have superb support behind them and a coach, in Sebastian Hoeneß, who's doing a brilliant job. He's got them playing very good football: they create chances, counter well, pass the ball well. They're this season's surprise package - in a positive way."

Hoeneß cancells pre-match press conference

Sebastian Hoeneß will not be speaking to the press ahead of the Wolfsburg game, having only just overcome a stomach bug. "I want to fully focus on our preparations. I'll oversee the final training session on Friday and then travel with the team," he explained on Thursday. "It was a pesky bug, but I've used the last few days to recuperate and was in touch with my training team a lot."
