Full time! Gladbach 2-2 Mainz
Joe Scally rescued a point for Borussia Mönchengladbach against Mainz, who remain winless this season. Florian Neuhaus put Gladbach ahead after chances had come and gone for Alassane Pléa, but the 05ers levelled out of nothing when Brajan Gruda smashed in a brilliant long-range strike. Substitutes Anwar El Ghazi and Aymen Barkok combined to give Mainz the lead in the second half, with Robin Zentner proceeding to pull off some miraculous saves to keep Gladbach at bay. His resistance was broken two minutes from normal time, though, as American substitute Scally drove home a fine equaliser.

Last chance
Barreiro fells Scally right on the edge of the Mainz area. All or nothing from the free-kick. Cvancara hits the wall, though, and then balloons over. That should be that...

Incredible save!
Cvancara connects with a cross from the right at the back post. It looks for all the world like being a goal, but Zentner somehow gets his outstretched leg to the ball.

Barkok scores!
No mistake this time! Mainz move it quickly in midfield, with El Ghazi sending Barkok on his way. The Mainz sub holds off Reitz, before clipping a neat finish past Nicolas. That's his first Bundesliga goal in almost three years!
72'
Chance not taken!
The subs combine as El Ghazi frees Barkok, who shoots tamely at Nicolas. You do wonder if he'd have done more with that, had he been on the pitch for longer.
71'
Mainz change
El Ghazi's on for his third Bundesliga appearance since joining Mainz on a free transfer. The impressive Gruda makes way. Barkok's also on for Lee, who spurned a glorious chance to put the 05ers in front not long ago.

Gladbach want a handball as Honorat touches the ball against the arm of Van den Bergh in the box, but there's no way he could get out of the way of that.

What a chance!
Gladbach are all at sea as Da Costa collects the ball on the edge of the area. He passes to Gruda, who sends a perfectly weighted ball into the box for Lee. It opens up for the South Korean, but he drives straight at Nicolas.

Feelers out
Not quite the same pace about Gladbach's game since the restart, though Honorat continues to be one of their best outlets.
