It's been a long time coming. Coman takes possession on the right and controls brilliantly to leave the Freiburg defender for dead before shooting for goal. A wicked deflection takes the ball past Atubolu. Game over.

Sané denied
Ohhh Sané's had a screamer chalked off for offside. The Bayern attacker picked up a pass from Coman in an advanced position, jinked his way this and that before rifling into the top corner. Tough call for Sané, that was sublime.

Kimmich angry
Merlin Röhl manhandles Goretzka a bit but the referee allows play to go on. Bayern's players are not happy with that decision, least of all Kimmich, who makes his feelings known to the ref.

Leroy Sané dribbles from deep, leaving Freiburg defenders in his wake. He looks up and pops a pass to Harry Kane who quickly returns the favour with a low assist across the face. Sané is there to tap home. Tidy goal.

Harry Kane conjures an almost identical chance to the one he produced a few minutes ago. It's another low drive cut towards the far post but the ball zips wide once more.

Coman first
Coman can't have meant that but the home faithful don't care. That's the Bayern No. 11's first competitive goal of the season. He last scored on Matchday 34 of 2022/23 in a 2-1 win at Cologne.

What on earth?
If Coman means this, it's a goal of the season contender. The French attacker gets down the right and smacks a cross-shot into the area. It's looping high towards the goal and Noah Atubolu raises a desperate hand as the ball dips into the net.

Davies high and wide
Kane with a lifted pass in for Sané. It's a lovely ball but Sané can't control it as he would have liked and the Bayern attacker is forced off his stride by the Freiburg defence. The ball rolls to Davies and when Sané jumps out of his way, the Canadian prods one off target.

All Bayern
The hosts are really taking the game to their opponents here. Bayern have menaced down the right through Mazraoui while Müller has also been causing problems. A few corners in quick succession for Tuchel's side and Freiburg are up against it here.

Guerreiro out
As we await the announcement of today's teams, we're learning that one player who is certain to miss out is Raphael Guerreiro after it was announced the Portuguese international picked up a thigh injury in training.
The lay of the land
After Saturday's results, Bayern have been nudged down to fifth in the table but a win would take them above Borussia Dortmund on goal-difference and either second or third depending on how Leverkusen get on earlier in the day. As for Freiburg defeat could see them slip out of the top half by the end of the matchday, while all three points would take them within a point of the top-six.
Set your alarms

Freiburg team news
Streich will be without a few important players for the visit to the Allianz Arena. The most important absentee is captain Christian Günter, who continues to recover from a broken arm, while Michael Gregoritsch will also be unavailable. Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is nearing the end of a substantial spell on the sidelines with a cruciate ligament injury, but this encounter comes too soon. Yannick Keitel and Nicolas Höfler will also not be involved, with the latter serving his last of a three-game ban.
Set-piece battle
So far this campaign, Bayern have conceded four goals from set-pieces while, in each of the last two seasons, Freiburg have scored the more most goals from dead-ball situations in the Bundesliga (24 in 2021/22 and 21 in 2022/23). Vincenzo Grifo's prowess from free-kicks, corners and penalties have already led to three goals this term, although Bayern lead the way with six.
Solid start for Freiburg
Christian Streich's side have not set the Bundesliga alight this campaign, but they have, on the whole, been typically solid - a 5-0 loss against Stuttgart aside. After six matches, they have 10 points to their name, which leaves them comfortably in the top half of the table, and they will look to make life difficult for Bayern here.

Head-to-head
Freiburg earned a first ever competitive victory away at Bayern Munich at the 24th attempt when they won 2-1 in last season’s DFB-Pokal quarter-final. However, Bayern are yet to lose in 23 Bundesliga encounters in Munich (W20, D3) and only Bayern themselves have faced a team at home more often in the Bundesliga without ever losing (27 vs. Wolfsburg; W25, D2).
Red-hot Kane
Harry Kane has scored eight goals in his first six Bundesliga games for Bayern, with only Miroslav
Klose (2007) previously netting as many for the club as quickly. The England captain has been directly involved in 11 league goals for Bayern this season (eight goals, three assists). Wow.
