"They have similar issues to us after their new players only came late. They were also missing key pillars in [Robin] Knoche and [Rani] Khedira, so you see that certain patterns of play aren't as clear as in recent years. However, those have remained the same and we're preparing for those with our solutions."

“I’m expecting a difficult, tight match. I think it’s a match that will be about mentality and passion, where the middle of the pitch will be particularly important. They’re a team who often play through the lines quickly, so then it’s about the second balls in particular. I have to say their last performance at Dortmund was really good. They were really cohesive, compact, well organised.”
