All hands on deck
Wolfsburg are no longer looking to attack - everyone is in their own half to secure this three points. They even let a chance to hit on the counter pass them by. Commitment!

There will be an extra 360 seconds for Hoffenheim to get that leveller.

Another opportunity goes begging
A stunning pass sends Moerstedt into the area, and he finds Hložek but falls as he does so and ends up inadvertently blocking his teammates path to goal. So unlucky for the hosts!
83'
Vavro sanctioned
The Wolfsburg hardman illegally stops Geiger on the edge of the Hoffenheim area as the hosts look to break.
79'
Prass fires over!
Hoffenheim finally manage to create an overlap, with Kramarić floating a dangerous ball into the area. It falls for Prass at the far post, but the defender blazes over an open goal. That should have been the leveller!

Off the post!
Arnold fires another dangerous long ball into the area, picking out Wind. The Dane fires an instinctive first time effort that clatters back off the post. So close!
74'
Kramarić!
The Hoffenheim talisman tries his luck from the edge of the area and his low, angled effort goes inches wide of the post. Grabara was well beaten. Corner.

Arriving...
Wimmer cues up Dárdai on the edge of the area but a heavy first touch gives the Hoffenehim defence the chance to clear.

Clean sheet on the cards?
If the score remains 0-1, it will be Wolfsburg's first clean sheet in five matches and just their fourth of the season.

Amoura makes way
Apparently suffering following a clash of heads with Chaves, the Wolfsburg goalscorer leaves the pitch, replaced by Wimmer.

Orban makes way
No debut goal for Nigerian striker Gift Orban, who struggled to find a way into the match and makes way for Max Moerstedt.

Hoffenheim struggling to build
Hložek does well to break down the right and dribble to the byline, but the Wolfsburg defence clamp down quickly and his options evaporate.
58'
Koulierakis threatens
Koulierakis does well to rise highest and send a firm header goal-ward, but the Greek defender will have to wait for his first goal.
54'
Not this time
Although it was an Arnold corner that gave Wolfsburg the lead in the first half, this time the visiting captain's effort is reasonably harmless. However, Vavro gets hold of the second ball and unleashes a powerful effort, bit it goes well over the bar.

Bischof has the first chance
After some confusion in the Wolfsburg box, Bischof's initial effort is blocked but he gets another crack - but it too is blocked, going out for a corner.

We're back!
Hoffenheim boss Ilzer has made three changes at half-time, bringing Gendrey, Akpoguma and Yardımcı on in a bid to revitalise his side and hopefully get a first shot on target.

Orban fires
Hoffenheim pump the ball into the area and it ends up with the Nigerian, who controls, carves out some space and fires - only to see his effort blocked by the legs of a defender.

120 seconds
There will be two minutes of time added on.
44'
Another scare for Hoffenheim
Arnold's free-kick deep in to the home side's area beats the defence and looks set to be turned home before Baumann comes and snuffs out the move. Hoffenheim are on the back foot here.
40'
Tomás fluffs his lines
Amoura allows a pass to go through his legs and trust sharply, leaving Chaves in his wake before crossing low for the unmarked Tomás on the right of the area. But the Portuguese fails to get the better of Baumann and Hoffenheim clear.
35'
Arnold!
After Hoffenheim fail to clear, Arnold arrives out of midfield and smashes a powerful effort goal-ward - but it flies over.
32'
Almost an immediate response!
Kramarić gets the better of the defence down the right and picks out the well-positioned Hložek, who fires from distance but sees his shot fly just over the crossbar.

Danger at last
Chaves pulls on Amoura's jersey and the subsequent free-kick from the half-space falls perfectly to Tiago Tomás, who tests Baumann for the first time.

23'
Tomás!
Looking to capitalise on a spell of possession, Wolfsburg get forward in numbers and Mæhle conjured a superb flat pass to find Tomás on the edge of the area. However, the Portuguese forward's effort is well off target.
20'
Amoura wins a corner
The roaming forward pops up on the right and helps create the overlap before his cross is deflected out for a corner... which is overshadowed by an offensive foul.
18'
Arthur Chaves stands firm
Amoura looks to use his pace to get in behind on the left, but Arthur Chaves tracks him well and shuts down the move.
14'
Midfield battle
Minor fouls, errors and plenty of tackles have seen the match stuck in the middle of the park so far...

Pressure
Wolfsburg are pressing hard and giving the hosts little time to build up their attacks. Can they force and early error?

Late tackle
As Prass breaks down the left, Tiago Tomás flies into a tackle and is duly sanctioned.
5'
Wind!
The Dane manages to eliminate Kadeřábek in the box but then loses the thread. Neither team has yet managed a shot on goal.

First corner
Gerhardt's effort finds no takers in the middle, however, and the visitors rebuild their attack with a second wave.

We're under way!
The ball is rolling Sinsheim, with hosts Hoffenheim in their customary royal blue and guests Wolfsburg decked out in white away kits.

It's a crisp but sunny day in Hoffenheim - the perfect setting for both sides to get the second half of the season off to a positive start. Just minutes to go now...

Back on the winning trail?
Wolfsburg will look to get back to winning ways against a Hoffenheim side lacking confidence. The visitors had gone six games without defeat and then lost two successive games to Freiburg and Dortmund, dropping from fifth to 11th in the process.
Looking for a spark
Hoffenheim are looking for their first win in four, having failed to build on their impressive win against Leipzig in Christian Ilzer's first game in charge. They currently sit just four points above the relegation play-off place.
