Ralph Hasenhüttl on Bayern

"When we played them at home on the opening day of the season, I think we played a very decent game against an opponent who were still finding their feet. We had the chance to take the lead at the end, but ultimately it wasn't enough. The fact is that we took a lot of self-confidence from that game and now this is a bigger one; we want to prove to ourselves that we can do well against them again. For that, we need to play with pride. We know what to expect there, but I think we should be looking forward to going there and being able to prove to ourselves whether we have taken a step forward."

Sweet 'Lewy' memories

Bayern fans will never tire of watching Robert Lewandowski's incredible quintet of goals scored in double-quick time against Wolfsburg in this fixture back in 2015. We can't say the same for Wolfsburg supporters, of course.

Hungry Wolves

Ralph Hasenhüttl has his instilled a fearsome streak in his Wolfsburg pack and Saturday's visitors to Bavaria had plenty of that on display when disposing of Gladbach by 5-1 during the midweek round of fixtures. Wolfsburg now boast two wins from two in 2025.

Bayern joy
