A late push for Kiel
Kiel haven't lost their energy just yet, but as has been the case for most of the game, the final pass can never quite seem to find its target. They seek a goal to avoid losing their opening four Bundesliga games.

Big chance for Gigovic
Rosenboom works the ball down the right before squaring it to Gigovic from the byline, but the winger can only put it over in a chance very similar to that from Kelati in the first half. But this is better from Kiel.
60'
Long throw-in
A new trick is implemented by Kiel on their set pieces as a long throw goes into the box, where it almost finds Pichler, but is cleared away.
56'
Kelati goes close

Momentum fading
A few early fouls, and players picking up knocks has just taken the sting out of the start of this second half. Both teams seem more inclined to play long than they did in the first half.

One to watch: Boadu
The striker has been marauding down Bochum's left all half, grabbing himself and assist for the first goal and being involved in the second. If Kiel want to get back into this they may want to find a way to keep him quiet.

36'

Kiel win another free-kick in a similar position to the last but on the right this time. Captain Holtby plays it to the far post but massively overhits it, resulting in a goal kick for the hosts.

Deflected
Bochum work the ball down the left and cut it back to the edge of the box where they manage to get a shot off, but it's delcted by the sea of legs in the Kiel penalty area.

A quiet start
As both sides look for their first Bundesliga points of the season, they seem to be sizing each other up. No great chances as of yet.
