Chaos in the box
After Scienza dribbles into the box and gets a shot away, the ball pinballs around the area. Heidenheim get a few shots away but they got blocked or saved by Gulácsi and Leipzig scamble it to safety. How did that stay out?

Off the post!
Openda picks the ball up centre-left on the oustide of the Heidenheim box. With two touches he gets the ball out his feet and works it onto his right, releasing a powerful low shot that strikes the left upright. So close to his second there.

Nusa drags it wide
A lovely first time pass round the corner by Baumgartner finds Nusa, whose right-footed shot flies just wide of the post.

Great saves by Gulácsi
A switch of play from right to left is headed down by Heidenheim into the Leipzig box. Pieringer swivels and gets a snapshot away from close range, which Gulácsi manages to repel impressively. Leipzig don't clear and Beck manages to cut in from the right and get another shot away to the near post but once again Gulácsi is equal to it. It looked certain that Heidenheim would score there!
70'
Real chance for Openda
Once again the speedster has a ball played in front of him to run onto. He gets there in the Heidenheim box where he finds himself with a one-on-one, but he slices his finish and drags the ball wide.
69'
Heidenheim growing
The substitutions have made an instant impact. Traoré makes a nuisance of himself and ends up winning a corner. The set piece is subsequently cleared but only as far as Schöppner, whose long ranged effort smashes the crossbar.

Heidenheim looking for an equaliser
Wanner drives from deep and rides a couple of challenges before playing it to his right to Pieringer. The striker puts in a first time ball, but it's overhit, Kaufmann can't reach it.

Openda!
Leipzig do now lead 1-0! Nusa does well to keep the ball down the right wing whilst being pressed. He gets free and plays a ball down the right towards the byline and Openda sprints after it. The angle looked too tight but Openda managed to squeeze a shot in at the near post with an impressive finish. Much better from Leipzig this half.
56'
Kaufmann goes down
Orbán is once again involved, this time in his own penalty area. Kaufmann is played through and gets across the Leipzig man. He goes down after coming together with Orbán, but the referee dismisses the protests.
55'
Goal disallowed
And it's been scrubbed off. The referee goes to the monitor, where he judges that Orbán impeded the defenders from rising to head the ball. Still 0-0 here.

Šeško!
And finally they make one count! David Raum takes the freekick from near the byline on the left. He floats it into the back post where Šeško is waiting, rises highest and heads down with the ball going in off the post.
51'
Continuing much the same
Leipzig find themselves with two free-kicks from good positions in the start of the half. Both dead balls lack the required quality, however, as they are mishit and nothing comes of them.

Back underway!
Heidenheim get the ball rolling again at the start of this second half.

Half-time: Heidenheim 0-0 Leipzig
So it's still all square here in Heidenheim. Both sides have defended well, but going forwards there hasn't been enough urgency in attack or quality on the final ball. As such, chances have been scarce and neither side has really ever looked like taking the lead.

Xavi goes through
Openda lifts a deft ball through to Xavi, who's tearing into the box. He's being hassled but manages to keep his balance and get his shot away, but he's too close to the keeper and can't lift it enough. That was a scare for Heidenheim.

Silky from Wanner
The emerging starlet just showed what he's all about. With just a drop of the shoulder, he wriggles free of three Leipzig defenders, turns, and sets up an attack for the hosts. What skill!
34'
Best chance of the game so far!
Kaufmann is released down the left on the break for Heidenheim. He plays a ball into the box for Pieringer, whose powerful shot is parried well by Gulácsi, but straight back to him. His second attempt is then blocked and cleared.
29'
Openda causing problems
The striker was played through and has an opportunity to stretch his legs. It looks like he might just get round the defender but Mainka does well to shield him from the ball and clear to safety.

Intricate
Šeško combines well with Openda. He releases him down the line, where Openda crosses it back into Xavi, who tries to feed Šeško through but he just strays offside.
15'
Slow start
Both teams are finding it hard to find their feet in this game here, with the ball often being congested in the middle of the park.
5'
Close for Openda
A dinked ball from Xavi through to Šeško is looped back over the keeper for what would have been a free header, but it's just over the head of the arriving Openda.

First chance
An early corner is whipped in from the right by Wanner, but the connection on the header wasn't the best.
