Borussia Mönchengladbach sign Tim Kleindienst from Heidenheim
Borussia Mönchengladbach have signed forward Tim Kleindienst from Heidenheim as the Foals continue building towards the 2024/25 Bundesliga season.
Kleindienst, 28, has signed a four-year deal after scoring 12 times in 33 league appearances during Heidenheim's impressive debut Bundesliga campaign last season.
"It's a great opportunity for me to be able to play at such a big club," said the former Energie Cottbus and Freiburg forward, whose third and most recent spell at Heidenheim had started in January 2021. "I'm really looking forward to our time together. I hope that I can help Borussia kick on again next season."
"Tim is a great guy and offers a lot of different things as a forward," said Roland Virkus, Borussia's sporting director. "He's a goal threat, and also works hard for the team and his teammates, and gives a certain stability. He can hold the ball up as a lone striker, and also make quality runs in behind the defence."
