Jahn Regensburg 2-3 Heidenheim
Tim Kleindienst struck a 99th-minute winner as Heidenheim came from 2-0 down in Regensburg to go from missing out on promotion to being Bundesliga 2 champions. The result also confirmed Regensburg’s relegation to the 3. Liga.
Jean-Luc Dompe scored the only goal as HSV beat relegated Sandhausen but fell just short of a return to the Bundesliga. They will instead contest the play-off against VfB Stuttgart.

Already-promoted Darmstadt missed out on the title after conceding four second-half goals in Fürth, having seen Patric Pfeiffer sent off on 30 minutes.
Magdeburg 4-0 Arminia Bielefeld
Magdeburg ended their first season back in the second division with an 11th-place finish thanks to a comprehensive win over Bielefeld, who must now battle for their Bundesliga 2 status in the play-off against Wehen Wiesbaden.
Kaiserslautern 0-3 Fortuna Düsseldorf
Dawid Kownacki bagged a brace in his final Düsseldorf game as Fortuna secured fourth place after running out 3-0 winners away at 10-man Kaiserslautern, who finished ninth after their promotion push petered out in their first season back from the third division.
Kiel earned a top-half finish by leapfrogging Hannover thanks to a five-star display at the Heinz von Heiden Arena, including a brace from Fin Bartels. Phil Neumann got the hosts’ consolation after the damage was done.
Pauli finished the season in fifth – behind Düsseldorf on goal difference – and Karlsruhe in seventh after the pair exchanged goals at the Millerntor.
Hansa Rostock 2-1 Eintracht Braunschweig
Braunschweig ensured that all three teams promoted from the 3. Liga last summer survived despite a late defeat in Rostock and being a man down for 70 minutes.
Nuremberg’s first away win of the calendar year thanks to Lukas Schleimer’s 20th-minute goal meant there was no play-off drama for them away at Paderborn, who ended the campaign in sixth.
