Hertha Berlin’s matches against Mainz, Freiburg and Schalke rescheduled
Hertha Berlin's three postponed Bundesliga matches against against Mainz, Freiburg and Schalke have been rescheduled for the month of May.
Hertha will play face Mainz away on Monday 3 May, before hosting Freiburg on 6 May and travelling to relegated Schalke on 12 May.
To accommodate the rearranged fixtures, two matches already scheduled for Matchday 32 have been swapped. The game meeting between VfB Stuttgart and Augsburg will now be played on Friday 7 May, with Hertha's crunch clash at home to Arminia Bielefeld switching to Sunday 9 May.
The rearrangements had to be made after Hertha's entire first team squad and coaching staff were required by the local health authority to self-isolate at home due to cases of COVID-19.
The fixtures were originally scheduled for Sunday 18, Wednesday 21 and Saturday 24 April.
Hertha, who currently occupy the relegation play-off spot, take on Cologne (h) and Hoffenheim (a) in their final matches of the regular 2020/21 campaign.
Pal Dardai's side are four points adrift of outright safety.
