The January 2019 transfer window has slammed shut and the Bundesliga clubs have been busy strengthening their squads for the remainder of 2018/19. Champions Bayern Munich finally welcomed Alphonso Davies and confirmed the arrival of Benjamin Pavard in the summer, while league leaders Borussia Dortmund secured the signature of promising teenage defender Leonardo Balerdi and retained the services of Christian Pulisic on loan after selling him to Chelsea.
