There's the second!
That could be promotion wrapped up, and it's Ducksch who turns it in with the outside of his right boot!

Shipnoski slips!
Big chance for the guests and for Shipnoski, with the ball finding its way through to him unmarked at the far post following a throw-in, but he loses his footing and cannot get a telling shot in on goal!

Danger in the Bremen area, but Pavlenka pushes the ball to safety. Another small warning for the hosts.

So far, so good
Bremen are on course for promotion, but there will not be any premature popping of corks, with Regensburg making them work hard for their lead.

A good chance for the guests through Albers, who races clear, but the offside flag goes up. Promotion is not Bremen's just yet.

Ducksch over
Two more big chances for Bremen, Ducksch first driving one over and then failing to find his partner in crime Füllkrug with what was looking like an 11th successful combination between the pair. Bremen very close to a second!

Bremen pushing
Bremen want to make sure of promotion as soon as possible, with Ducksch close to adding a second, but for some good defending by Regensburg.

Hansa, Darmstadt lead
Over Bremen's shoulder, Darmstadt have taken the lead in the race for third - they are in front against Paderborn while Hamburg have fallen behind at Hansa Rostock. Bremen can watch that particular battle serenely, thanks to Füllkrug's goal, but there is still plenty of time for things to change.

Four in a row for Füllkrug
That's Füllkrug's 19th goal of the season, and he has found the back of the net in each of his past four games. His best ever season keeps getting better and better.

That one counts!
Füllkrug blasts Bremen in front, with Weidinger only able to help it onto the inside of his right-hand post, and the Weserstadion has erupted!

It's bouncing
The atmosphere inside the Weserstadion really is something else tonight. Throw in a warm, sunny day, and the prospect of promotion, and some might say that's close to perfection. So far, their team are just going through the motions.

Huge Bremen flag
The teams emerge to a huge green and white flag covering one entire end of the stadium. The atmosphere is electric in Bremen.
Party poopers?
For much of the first half of the season, Regensburg led Bundesliga 2 and looked on course for promotion. That dream fizzled out over recent months, but their coach Mersad Selimbegovic insists they will not just step aside and watch Bremen fulfil a dream which was once theirs. "We're obliged to go full throttle one last time," he said. "We owe it to all of our fans who will travel to Bremen, and to everybody else keeping their fingers crossed for us."

Never change a winning team
And Ole Werner hasn't, sticking with the same players who beat Erzgebirge Aue 3-0 a week ago, nudging Bremen close to promotion.
Change in goal
The Regensburg side has just one change from the 2-0 defeat to Heidenheim, with Thorsten Kirschbaum missing between the posts and Alexander Weidinger starting.
Regensburg starting XI:
Weidinger - Saller, Breitkreuz, Elvedi, Wekesser – Beste, Gimber (c), Besuschkow, Shipnoski - Boukhalfa, Albers
Bremen starting XI:
Pavlenka - Veljkovic, Toprak (c), Friedl - Weiser, Groß, Jung - Bittencourt, Schmid - Füllkrug, Ducksch
Werner has the faith
Bremen coach Ole Werner is confident about his team's chances today. "We trust our modus operandi and have our fate in our own hands," he said. "We've discussed where we've got things wrong and focused on strengthening the positives. We've established solid foundations over the course of the season and can now build on that."
Marching into the Bundesliga?

As it stands...
Schalke are already up and two points clear of Werder, with a draw at Nuremberg likely to seal the title for the Royal Blues but defeat could open the door for Werder to lift the trophy. Bremen aren't guaranteed promotion, though. Far from it in fact, with Hamburg and Darmstadt - both with better goal differences than SVW - three points back. One of those three will go up automatically, one will take on Hertha Berlin in the promotion/relegation play-off and the other will remain in the second tier next season. A lot on the line.
