LAST-GASP FROM LEIPZIG
Willi Orban is becoming something of a Bundesliga goalscoring star this season. His fourth goal of the season and a personal record for him in the Bundesliga. A great low cross from Halstenberg which just went through the legs of a Hoffenheim defender. The away side will feel hard done by to have not come away with all three points, but it's Leipzig who are happy, extending their lead ahead of Wolfsburg in fourth to four points.

SABITZER HEADS OVER
The Austrian heads over at the back post with the home side looking most likely to score a late winner with added time running out...
89'
BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!
And Leipzig have their goal. Halstenberg collects the ball on the left wing and smashes it low into the box, and it's Orban who is on the end of it to glance the ball beyond Baumman with his stretching right leg.
86'
WHAT A SAVE GULACSI!
Kramaric dinks the ball towards the back post from the edge of the Leipzig box. Szalai's header meets it and is drifting towards goal, but Gulacsi pulls off a world-class save to tip the ball over his own crossbar.

SABITZER'S SHOT BLOCKED!
The ball is played across goal from the left side of the box towards Sabitzer who is standing 10 yards from goal. He meets it perfectly with a left-footed strike, but it is blocked in front of Baumann by the Hoffenheim defence.
78'
HOFFENHEIM LOOKING NO WEAKER
Despite a more defensive approach, the away side are still looking to get forward. Kramaric has a shot at goal go high and wide beyond goal. Leipzig are pushing on as you'd expect, but the away side are well drilled and standing firm.

CHANGE OF TACTIC FOR HOFFENHEIM
Bicakcic comes on and Nagelsmann has switched to three at the back, with three central defenders on the pitch. Grillitsch is sitting in front of that defence, with Schulz and Kaderabek on the left and right either side of him in a slightly more defensive formation.

CUNHA WILL BE KICKING HIMSELF
Kampl immediately makes an impact threading a through ball for Cunha to latch onto. The Brazilian falls as he takes his shot at goal, though, and it slices wide at the near post.
59'
WELL THAT WAS MAD!
The ball flies to the back post and Kramaric, who controls and cuts past a defender to attempt a shot. His effort goals across goal and is headed by Orban, but straight at Halstenberg who is on the floor. The ball bounces off the left-back's head and luckily for Leipzig, wide of goal...

OBRAN FORCES THE BEST FROM BAUMANN!
A free-kick from the right wing is whipped in by Halstenberg and flicked on by Demirbay as he attempted to clear. The ball drifted over to Orban at the back post, and the Leipzig captain headed at goal, but Baumann was in the right place to parry the ball away with a superb save.

ADAMS ON AT THE BREAK
Ralf Rangnick is looking for a slightly more creative midfield immediately, bringing on Tyler Adams for Stefan Ilsanker here.

DESERVED LEAD FOR THE VISITORS
Julian Nagelsmann has won the tactical battle here so far, which won't actually be too disappointing of a sign for Leipzig, with the youngest coach in Bundesliga history coming to the club in the summer. With Joelinton dropping in, Leipzig's midfield has been totally outnumbered and bypassed so far. Missing the runs of Werner and a creative edge in their midfield, the home side have struggled to create much from the openings they have had. Changes coming?

LAIMER GOES CLOSE!
The first big chance of the game for the home side. Laimer runs across the pitch from right to left in the Hoffenheim half and finds Poulsen on the left corner of the box. The Dane completes the one-two sending Laimer towards goal, and he slices a shot towards the net, but Baumann is perfectly positioned to block it away.
42'
IMPROVING TO END THE HALF
The home side are enjoying most of the possession here in the final minutes of the first half. Most of it is coming in Hoffenheim's half, too, but can they make the most of it?
37'
RANGNICK WITH A MESSAGE
The Leipzig coach hands Halstenberg a piece of paper for him to read on the pitch. It surely won't be a love letter at the moment with his side 0-1 behind...
32'
KLOSTERMANN VS. SCHULZ IS SERIOUS FUN!
The Leipzig right-back and Hoffenheim left-back are having a real battle on one side of the pitch so far. Both players showcasing their ridiculous pace and technical skill, beating each other with neat dribbling work and strength. That'll be one to follow for the rest of the night.
29'
RANGNICK WON'T BE HAPPY
It's been a wayward start for Leipzig so far, who are getting no control of the midfield in this opening 30 minutes. Demirbay, Grillitisch, Amiri, and especially Joelinton, have been able to get on the ball and also distupt the Leipzig play well so far.
23'
HOFFENHEIM AHEAD!
Belfodil brings the ball into the box after a defensive bit of work from Joelinton to win the ball in the Leipzig half. He then flicks the ball to Joelinton, who shoots at Gulacsi and sees his shot parried into the path of Kramaric who taps home into an empty net.
18'
FIRST SHOT, FIRST SAVE
The away side have the first attempt on goal. Demirbay's long ball forward bounces through some bodies to reach Kaderabek towards the right corner of the box, and he shoots at the near post of the Leipzig goal on the volley. Too easy, though, for Gulacsi.
16'
ILSANKER PERFECT IN DEFENCE
The Austrian races back to catch Andrej Kramaric who is bearing down on goal with only Gulacsi ahead of him. But it's a perfect tackle from the midfielder, taking the ball out for a goal kick with a deflection off the Croatian forward.
12'
NEW ROLE FOR JOELINTON?
The Brazilian looks to be lining up in the attacking midfield role, behind Kramaric and Belfodil tonight. Looking to get power on the ball deeper in the pitch...

FINDING OUR FEET
Both teams still figuring each other out here in the opening minutes. The pace of Timo Werner is a huge miss for the home side, but Matheus Cunha is working hard to make up for it alongside Yussuf Poulsen. The Danish forward's last four Bundesliga goals have opened the scoring in games...

UNDERWAY IN LEIPZIG!

HOME COMFORTS FOR WERNER
Leipzig striker Timo Werner has found the net 11 times in the Bundesliga this season, although he is still to score in 2019. He is long overdue a goal, then, and playing on home turf usually brings out the best in him: nine of those 11 goals have come at the Red Bull Arena.
ADVANTAGE LEIPZIG?
Rangnick's side have been excellent on home turf this season, winning seven, drawing three and losing just one - a narrow 1-0 reverse against leaders Borussia Dortmund in their first league game of 2019. They are unbeaten in five matches in all competitions since then, however. Hoffenheim, meanwhile, have often struggled on the road this term (W4, D4, L2) and have conceded an average of 1.9 goals per game on foreign soil (19 goals in 10 games),
HEAD-TO-HEAD RECORD
This will be the seventh competitive meeting between the teams, with Leipzig winning three and Hoffenheim two so far. Leipzig have already beaten Julian Nagelsmann's side twice this season: a 2-1 away win on Matchday 6 that preceded a 2-0 home triumph in the second round of the DFB Cup. However, Hoffenheim emerged victorious on their last Bundesliga visit to Leipzig, returning home with a 5-2 success in April 2018.
MONDAY NIGHT TREAT
Boy do we have a game on our hands tonight! Leipzig, in fourth, can leapfrog Borussia Mönchengladbach in thrid with a win, thereby doing their hopes of returning to the UEFA Champions League no harm at all. However, standing in their way are Hoffenheim - whose coach Julian Nagelsmann will take over at Leipzig next season. The visitors have European aspirations of their own and could go above Bayer Leverkusen on goal difference in sixth with victory.
