Rashica skips past a defender and finds Bittencourt on the right side of the Paderborn box, but his shot finds the side-netting just inches from hitting the post. Paderborn have done well to keep the Bremen attack relatively quiet so far.

Bremen continue to work the ball well around the Paderborn box, this time from Klaassen to Bargfrede and onto Eggestein. The young midfielder then cuts back onto his left foot and curls a shot at goal, but it drifts wide of the mark. Shots galore in the first half, which is exactly what we want to see!

The vibrant attacking midfielder went on a lovely run forward to earn a free-kick for Bremen, but went down under Gjasula's challenge. He's limping as the game continues so we will have to see if he is able to continue as the game carries on.

Lovely play from Bremen as Eggestein is played the ball on the edge by Osako and he skips past a challenge to open space on his right foot for a shot at goal. He goes for accuracy rather than power but doesn't find it and his finessed shot curls just wide of the near post.

Gebre Selassie plays the ball inside from the right flank into Bittencourt in the middle and he quickly shoots at goal, forcing a save from Zingerle. The ball drops in front of him in the middle of the box though, and Klaassen is first to it. But the Dutchman's shot goes straight into the hands of the Paderborn goalkeeper. A big chance goes begging there for the home side.
