CLINICAL FROM TSG

The away side have had four shots on target in this second half, three of them resulting in goals. The first was impossible to miss but the goals from Baumgartner and Adamyan were superbly taken. The home side, in comparison, will be massively frustrated to have not got at least one goal from their chances.

ADAMYAN FIRES HOME A THIRD

All too easy for Hoffenheim as a throw-in is played to Kramaric outside the Bremen box. He controls and plays Adamyan in behind, who duly slots the ball past Pavlenka with the help of a slight deflection.

BAUMGARTNER WITH A BACKHEEL!

What a finish from Baumgartner. It's a long ball forward from Posch which Adamyan heads down to Rudy. He races on and plays the ball to Kramaric, who cuts inside and sees the ball drop to Baumgartner after a block from the Bremen defence. The young midfielder has his back to goal and Pavlenka behind him, but is able to backheel the ball over the Bremen shot-stopper and it bounces over the line before Veljkovic can clear it.

RUDY HAS A GO!

Fantastic passing play in the build-up from Hoffenheim as the ball goes from the wing into the middle through lovely pass and movement. It ends up with Rudy 20 yards from goal and he fires a shot at the target, but it drifts just over Pavlenka's goal with the Bremen No.1 diving at full stretch.

RASHICA FIRES WIDE

The Bremen forward is sent in on goal after a mistake in the Hoffenheim defence, but he slices a wild shot wide of the mark from inside the box. He's frustrated with himself for that one.
66'

DOUBLE BREMEN CHANGE

Florian Kohfeldt has changed things up in his attack with Osako on for Sargent, while Bartels is on for Sahin as a more attacking midfield option.
65'

THE SCRAPPIEST OF GOALS!

Posch wins a header at the back post from a corner and it's flicked towards goal by Kramaric. Klaaseen attempts to clear but can only send the ball back towards his own goal, and Kaderabek taps it in on the line. The simplest goal of his career to put Hoffenheim into the lead!

FRIEDL FIRES OVER

A good chance for Bremen again on the break as Eggestein is sent away down the right flank. He cuts the ball back into the box and it's behind Sargent, but Friedl has made a run into the box to meet the ball. He meets it on his unfavoured right foot and duly sends the ball over the crossbar.
61'

SAHIN DOWN...

The midfielder collided in the air with his own teammate, Toprak, and fell hard on his back. He'll be able to continue though as he's back up and on the sidelines.
57'

EGGESTEIN SHOT... DEFLECTED!

The young midfielder takes a strike at goal from the edge of the Hoffenheim box and two deflections see it go towards goal with Pentke stranded. The ball bounces just inches wide of the goal, though, with Bremen coming as close as they have been to opening the scoring.

DABBUR ALMOST FINDS THE NET

A deep ball to the back post is controlled by Kramaric and sent into the box. Dabbur meets it with a good header, but Vogt is perfectly positioned to block the ball ahead of Pavlenka, and his defence are able to clear the second ball. Hoffenheim starting this second half well.

SECOND HALF BEGINS

A GAME THREATENING TO COME ALIVE

We've seen bright moments from both sides and chances at either end, but the game hasn't fully come to life yet despite the possibility of doing so. Werder have controlled most of the ball and attacking play but Hoffenheim had the best chance of the half through Kramaric. We've seen little of Dabbur so far, which the away side will look to change in the second half.

HÜBNER HEADS OVER

Rudy's corner finds the head of the Hoffenheim captain up from the back, but his effort goes high over the crossbar.
36'

DEFENCE WINNING THE DAY

It's a real midfield battle here. Neither side is able to get forward and in on goal often enough to build up pressure. Bremen are doing particularly well in winning the ball back in midfield. Rashica has looked dangerous as ever on the break, but defence is certainly winning the day up to now.
30'

TOPRAK DOWN

The veteran defender is down here and it does not look good. He collided with a Hoffenheim player during a Bremen free-kick and is limping away to the sidelines clutching his right knee. He'll attempt to play on, but it may not be possible.
24'

OFF THE MARK SO FAR

Bremen have been off target with all four of their shots so far in this game, two of which came from the left-foot of Nuri Sahin.
22'

LATE ONE FROM POSCH

The Hoffenheim defender goes into the referee's book for his second foul of the game, and a late one on Davy Klaassen.
18'

BIG CHANCE FOR KRAMARIC

Hoffenheim could easily be 1-0 up after a mistake in midfield from Klaassen. His blind pass into the middle goes straight to Baumgartner in space and he drives at the Bremen goal. Kramaric is alone to his left and he finds him before Kramaric shoots at goal. He can only find the side-netting at Pavlenka's near post, though.
16'

HARD GOING FOR HOFFENHEIM

The away side have been able to get on the ball in recent minutes but intense pressing from Bremen is forcing mistakes.
13'

VOGT GOES CLOSE

Bremen are doing well when in possession to cause problems to the Hoffenheim defence. Another free-kick is won, and duly swung into the box. Vogt gets on the end of it at the back post but can't keep his header on target as he goes for goal against his parent club.
6'

GOOD START FROM BREMEN

The home side have started the game in control of the ball for the most part. Kevin Vogt heads wide from a free-kick with the first chance of the game, but it's been a solid start for Bremen.

HERE WE GO

A huge game for the home side looking to claw themselves away from relegation, while Hoffenheim have European places in their sights. Let's see who comes out on top for today, at least...

FULL DEBUT FOR DABBUR

Munas Dabbur makes his first Bundesliga start today having signed for Hoffenheim from Sevilla this month. The Israel striker scored goals for fun with Red Bull Salzburg in Austria before his move to Spain, and will hope to find similar form in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim - could he score his first goal for the club today?

FOUR CHANGES FROM SCHREUDER

Akpoguma, Zuber, Kaderabek and Dabbur come in to start. Four changes is the most that coach Alfred Schreuder has made from one Bundesliga game to another.

ZUBER BACK FOR TSG

Switzerland international Steven Zuber makes a welcome return to the Hoffenheim starting line-up today. It's his first appearance in the Bundesliga this season since Matchday 1, when he suffered a metatarsal injury which would require surgery. Elsewhere, Pavel Kaderabek returns to play on the right flank while Manus Dabbur continues in attack alongside Andrej Kramaric and Christoph Baumgartner.

VOGT AGAINST HIS FORMER CLUB

The defender is back for Werder Bremen having suffered a concussion last week against Fortuna Düsseldorf. He'll face the club he is on loan at Bremen from, Hoffenheim, in a peculiar situation for the player. Otherwise, the team is as expected with coach Florian Kohfeldt not changing a thing from his side's win last week.
