BORNAUW SEALS THE WIN
The corner swings in from Risse and centre-back Bornauw is up from the back to head it into the net from the middle of the box. As simple as that sometimes, and Cologne are heading for their first three points at home this season.

CORDOBA HITS THE POST!
Skhiri plays Cordoba in on goal as he battles off the challenge of Kilian. He places the ball past the 'keeper, but it bounces back out off the post.
83'
SABIRI GOES CLOSEST FOR PADERBORN
A corner is swung in from the right and it's headed down towards goal by substitute Sabiri, but it drifts just past the far post of the Cologne goal. That was the best chance of the game so far.
74'
COLOGNE IN CONTROL
Cordoba comes on for Terodde to freshen up the front line with the home side two goals to the good and heading for three points here. A solid performance so far from the Billy Goats who have not allowed a single shot on target from Paderborn.

SCHINDLER HAS TO SCORE!
The winger times his run perfectly to meet Hector's chipped through ball. He controls the ball in front of goal with only the 'keeper to beat, but he curls the ball wide of goal on his left foot.

PADERBORN CHANGING THINGS UP
All or nothing now for the away side here, who bring on two strikers in Sven Michel and Ben Zolinski. Can they make the difference?
59'
SCHAUB HEADS HOME!
Cologne are two goals to the good and it comes from a classy counter. Schindler is sent away down the right wing to make the most of his pace. He crosses to the back post where Schaub is unmarked. He heads low at goal and Zingerle can only parry it into his own net. He'll be disappointed with that.
56'
KATTERBACH ON THE RUN
The left-back goes on a mazy run and picks up the ball after it ran loose from Schindler's possession. He reaches the edge of the box with Schaub screaming for the ball in space at the back post, but Katterbach goes for goal and it's a simple save for Zingerle.
53'
END-TO-END HERE!
Without chances on goal, this has turned into an end-to-end game. Both side's defences are coming up trumps and winning the ball back for their team, but neither has been able to make the most of the possession when they have it.

SECOND HALF BEGINS

COLOGNE DESERVEDLY AHEAD
Terodde's rebound finish is enough to have Cologne in the lead at the break. The home side dominated the first half without creating a truckload of chances. Terodde almost had a second when he hit the post before Paderborn began to enjoy some attacking play for themselves. Changes may be needed for them sooner rather than later if they want to get into this game.

TERODDE HITS THE POST
Ehizibue's teasing cross is deflected off a defender and parried away from danger by Paderborn's shot-stopper. It comes to Kainz at the back post, who puts the ball back for Terodde to hit, but he can only clip the outside of the post.

HECTOR RUNNING THE SHOW
The Cologne captain is running the midfield today and up to now has had the most touches of any player in the game. He's also won a game-high 93 per cent of his challenges.

PRÖGER FIRES WIDE
The corner is cleared only as far as the Paderborn No.9, who goes for a lovely looking volley from the edge of the box, but the ball drifts over Horn's crossbar with no trouble.

PADERBORN FIGHTING
The visitors are getting into this game now, winning the ball back well and keeping in with good possession of their own. The first real attacking move of the game for them brings a first corner of the game for them.
26'
COLOGNE WORKING WELL
Great passing and movement from the Billy Goats so far in this game. They're making Paderborn do all the run around their own box with neat passing from side to side and between the midfield and defensive lines. Paderborn have not had extended possession in the Cologne half so far.

FIRST CHANCE FOR PADERBORN

RAINY DAY IN COLOGNE
The winter weather has arrived in Germany and the rain is pouring in Cologne today which will affect how these two teams are able to play. Both sides are playing only one man in attack, as well, which could mean we see more long balls forward than usual.
COLLINS A LATE ABSENTEE
Paderborn's trusted left-back misses out today due to flu, Paderborn have confirmed. In his place comes for Mainz defender Gerrit Holtmann, while Babacar Gueye leads the attack for the only team in the Bundesliga without a win so far this season.
HOME SIDE UNCHANGED
