THE COMPETITIVE BUNDESLIGA
As things stand with this result there will be just 5 - FIVE - points between 1st place and 11th place in the Bundesliga table. Everyone can be everyone in this league, and we're seeing that week in and week out.

ADDED TIME!
We're now into three minutes of added time.

OUTSTANDING FROM BEBOU
What a goal from the substitute who has produced an incredible performance in this second half to win the game. He latches onto a long ball forward which Stambouli misses. He was one defender to beat and cuts inside from the left flank onto his right foot before reaching the edge of the box. He sends Nübel the wrong way with his shot, finding the near post in style.
84'
BURGSTALLER HEADS WIDE
Harit's corner is met by Burgstaller in the box, but the striker is falling back as the ball reaches him and he can't get the power behind it that he'd like to. The ball loops beyond the far post.
81'
HARIT FRUSTRATED
The playmaker kicks the ball away in frustration after handling it on the ground after he'd slipped. It's been a frustrating evening for him and his team who just need a spark in attack.
74'
A MOMENT OF MAGIC AGAINST THE RUN OF PLAY
A first goal in four and a half months for Kramaric after injury problems, but he'll be thanking Bebou for that goal. And that's what the game needed if we were going to see a goal here. Schalke will be bitterly disappointed to be behind after all their control in the game. Will we see more goals as the game opens up in the final 15 minutes?
72'
BEBOU MAKES IT, KRAMARIC FINISHES IT
He won't be awarded with an assist for the goal, but it all comes from Bebou. The substitute races through the middle, tapping the ball past two defenders to get into the box. He has a shot at goal which is superbly saved by Nübel, but Kramaric shows he hasn't lost his attacking-instincts and mops up the rebound to score on his first appearance of the season.

ALL SCHALKE HERE
It's still all in the Royal Blues' favour here with the away side controlling most of the possession in this second half. However, creativity is lacking in attack and Baumann has not been tested with an strong shots on goal.
60'
BAUMANN LOOKING NERVOUS
The Hoffenheim goalkeeper can claim a simple ball in his box after a deflected cross, but he goes for a punch instead of it almost goes into his own net. Moments later he miscues a clearance and sends it out for a corner.
55'
JOY DOWN THE FLANKS
Most of Schalke's play is coming down either wing, with Kenny and Caligiuri combining well down the right while Oczipka and Schöpf are doing the same on the left. The Royal Blues just look a step faster than their hosts.
51'
SCHALKE PRESS STILL GOING
It did its job in the first half and Schalke are still pressing hard against Hoffenheim. It's not quite having the same effect so far in this second half, with some tired legs likely, but Schalke want to be on the ball.

SECOND HALF BEGINS!
We're back underway in Sinsheim for the second half. The home side have taken off a midfielder and brought on an attacker, with Bebou replacing Geiger.

GEIGER HAS A GO...
The young midfielder works the ball onto his left foot on the edge of the box, but his shot drifts over the Schalke crossbar.
41'
HEADING TOWARDS THE BREAK
Hoffenheim have steadied the ship here slightly, not allowing a Schalke chance on goal since the half-hour mark. They have still been unable to test Alexander Nübel in the Schalke goal, though.
34'
POSCH HAS A GO
Finally some space in the Schalke defence gives Hoffenheim their first real attacking move of the game. Adamyan picks up the ball 30 yards from goal and goes on a run to the left before passing the ball back into the middle. Rudy picks it up and lays the ball off to Posch who takes a shot, but the defender's effort is dragged wide of the mark.
30'
SCHÖPF SHOOTS WIDE
Chances galore for Schalke here as Harit is afforded space and time to drive forward again through the midfield. He clips the ball to Schöpf on the edge of the box who is unmarked, but he gets a poor connection on his left-footed effort.
27'
SCHALKE SHOULD BE AHEAD...
A looped ball to the back post of the Hoffenheim box finds Sane up from the back and in acres of space. Rather than go for goal, he looks to put the ball back across goal for Burgstaller, but Vogt is in the way to make a crucial block.
24'
SCHÖPF WITH THE HEADER...
A cross to the back post from Oczipka is headed back across goal by Burgstaller towards fellow Austrian Schöpf who heads the ball at goal himself. But it loops only onto the roof of the Hoffenheim net.
23'
ROYAL BLUES ROLLING
The away side on top in this game. 4 shots to Hoffenheim's 1 so far, and the majority of the possession despite being away from home.
18'
LOVELY FROM HARIT
The September Player of the Month picked up the ball deep in midfield and drove forward. A quick one-two and he had the ball on the edge of the Hoffenheim box, playing a pass in behind for Burgstaller. It took him too wide though, and his attempt and playing the ball back into the box was snuffed out by Baumann.
13'
DANGEROUS DANIEL
Caligiuri again poses a huge threat with his set pieces, whipping in a free-kick from the right. Alessandro Schöpf has to stretch to reach it at the far post but can’t keep his effort down.
9'
FINDING THEIR FEET
Both sides looking good in possession despite high-pressing tactics being employed from both coaches. This is going to be an intense game.
3'
WHAT A HIT FROM CALIGIURI
A stunning free-kick from the wing-back curls at goal from 25 yards out. Baumann is at full stretch but can't reach it as it clips the outside corner of the goalposts and bounces wide. That would've been an incredible start to this game!

UNDERWAY IN SINSHEIM!
We're underway for the final game of Matchday 8 in the Bundesliga. We should all have learned to expect the unexpected in the Bundesliga this season, so anything can happen this evening.
キックオフ
KICK-START FOR HOFFENHEIM?
Hoffenheim are the lowest-scoring team in the Bundesliga this season with just six goals scored in the opening seven games of the season. Two of those were from Adamyan at the Allianz Arena. Can he produce a similarly special performance today?
WIN TAKES SCHALKE TOP
Schalke are in the middle of the tightly-packed top half of the Bundesliga table, but can go where no team has gone so far this season, and that's to 17 points. A win today would take them one point above Borussia Mönchengladbach and into top spot for the week. A huge incentive for the Royal Blues.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID WAGNER?
The Schalke coach celebrated his 48th birthday yesterday. Will he be able to celebrate the weekend with a win here today?
SCHALKE WITHOUT SERDAR OR MCKENNIE
Both midfielder stars are out today with muscle problems, according to Schalke. Serdar returning from making his Germany debut, while McKennie scored the fastest hat-trick in USMNT history last week with three goals in 13 minutes. The pair will be a miss, but Rabbi Matondo will look to provide pace in attack supporting Guido Burgstaller.
KRAMARIC RETURNS!
The Croatian forward makes his first appearance of the season after a knee injury kept him out for the first two months. He starts on the wing, with Adamyan leading the line. Kevin Vogt appears to be anchoring the midfield today for Alfred Schreuder's side.
