FIRST CHANGE
It's Matarazzo who acts first by replacing the league's tallest player with some pace out wide. Coulibaly has already scored against Bayern and Dortmund this season...

ANGELINO TO ORBAN
An outside-of-the-boot cross by Angelino finds the head of the arriving Willi Orban, but he can't beat Kobel.
49'
SOSA BOOKED
The Stuttgart man pulls Olmo back and is booked.
48'
FORSBERG
And now it's the turn of Leipzig's nominal striker to run onto a defence-splitting pass, but he puts his shot straight at Kobel.
47'
HAIDARA
A great through ball finds Amadou Haidara in behind, but the midfielder makes a bit of a mess of his shot and drags it well wide.
46'
BACK UNDERWAY
No changes for either team as we resume for the second half. Julian Nagelsmann is normally not afraid to shuffle his pack at the break, so he must be pleased with what he's seen so far.

This was the sixth time Gregor Kobel has faced a penalty in the Bundesliga and the second he's saved (previously for Augsburg against Gladbach in January 2019).

A DIFFICULT 12 YARDS
No team has missed as many penalties in the Bundesliga this season as Leipzig (2). But they've also been awarded the most spot-kicks in the league (7).

MOMENTS AWAY
Here come the teams in Stuttgart for the final fixture of a busy first Bundesliga Saturday of 2021.
ONE-SIDED HEAD-TO-HEAD
Stuttgart and Leipzig have met four times before in competitive action across the 2017/18 and 2018/19 Bundesliga season. Those games produced a 0-0 draw and three RBL wins (1-0, 2-0 and 3-1). Die Roten Bullen have also never lost a Bundesliga games to a promoted side, winning 14 and drawing three. To make matters worse for VfB, only one member of their squad has ever scored against Leipzig in the Bundesliga. That is Daniel Didavi (for Wolfsburg in May 2018), and he misses out today with a knock.

TIME TO BREAK THE HOME DUCK
Promoted Stuttgart can be pleased with their season so far, with only three defeats in their opening 13 fixtures their best return since they actually won the title in 2006/07, while their 26 goals scored is also their best in 14 years. However, Matarazzo's side are yet to win at the Mercedes-Benz Arena since their top-flight return, failing to win their first six home games of a Bundesliga season for the first time ever (D4, L2).
MILESTONE MATCH
This is also the 150th match of Leipzig's Bundesliga history. Their record of 80 wins (D40, L29) before this landmark fixture is already a league record, surpassing the previous best of 79 wins set by Bayern.
CHANCE TO APPLY PRESSURE
Leverkusen's defeat to Frankfurt earlier today means RB Leipzig can move top with a win tonight and apply some pressure on Bayern before they host Mainz tomorrow. Julian Nagelsmann's side are only two points off the champions at the summit and on a run of seven without defeat in the Bundesliga.

As for Leipzig, they make only one change from their 3-0 cup win against Augsburg as Tyler Adams replaces Nordi Mukiele, who misses out with a knock. There is good news, though, with Lukas Klostermann back in the squad for the first time since Matchday 4 after a knee operation.
THREE VFB CHANGES
