Very nearly an own goal and very nearly 2-0 for Cologne. The Billy Goats look to punish their hosts on the counter with Wolf flying up the right flank. His cross almost finds Duda in the middle but Stambouli slides in to block, and inadvertently sends the ball onto his own post and it bounces away.

Schalke press forward straight away and it's Harit in the Cologne area, twisting and turning and finally shooting, only to see his effort deflected past Horn and cleared from just in front of his own goal by Czichos.

Cologne and their set pieces do the trick. It's a corner which is punched to the back post by Fährmann, and Drexler gathers it. He smashes the ball back across the face of goal and Czichos is perfectly placed to head it home with his 1st goal of the season. A huge goal for Cologne to go ahead!

Lovely interplay from Schalke after a throw-in. Harit and Uth combine before the former set up Uth eight yards from goal and he fires a first-time shot away. He's leaning back, though, and sends his effort flying high over the crossbar.
