FULL TIME! HERTHA 1-3 FRANKFURT
The visitors were too good in the first half but were relatively uncomfortable in the second as they needed Trapp to pull out some saves. Schwolow had very little to do other than pick the ball out of his net three times, and Barkok could have made it four. It's a lesson in ruthlessness from Frankfurt, who bounce back impressively from that opening-day draw with Bielefeld.

BARKOK...MISSES
The substitute has barely been on five minutes and he races clear, but with only Schwolow to beat - and the game to kill completely - he sends a measured shot just wide of the target.
88'
STARK STOPPED
Great ball whipped in from the right, Stark gets a glancing header on it but Trapp - once again - is smartly down to his right to cling on to the ball.
86'
HINTEREGGER O(M)G
That's the Austria international defender's third own goal for Frankfurt, and the fifth in his Bundesliga career. Only Nikolce Noveski and Manfred Kaltz have ever put more goals past their own 'keeper (6).

FRESH LEGS FOR FRANKFURT
Sow will give the visitors more energy in the middle of the park as they try to see this one out.

STRAIGHT AT TRAPP
Tousart connects with Lukebakio's cross, directing a volley goalwards but Trapp is handily placed at the near post to leap up and snatch the ball out of the air.

GOAL! HERTHA 1-3
Fabulous run by Torunarigha down the left - what is he doing there? - and his cross, which was aimed at Cordoba, is turned into his own goal by Hinteregger. Hertha have one back..they couldn't, could they?
77'
DOUBLE FIGURES FOR RODE
That's the first time in his 10 Bundesliga goals that Rode has scored with his left foot - and it's one for the family album too.

AND THERE GOES MAIER
Just 21 minutes after coming on, Maier is off again...must be an injury. Mittelstädt goes into midfield alongside Tousart and Plattenhardt slots in at right-back.
63'
IT'S ALL HERTHA
The hosts must have gotten quite a rocket from Labbadia at half-time. Another ball comes into the box, and this time Trapp has to be right on top of Cordoba to smother. Suddenly, the red-and-blacks of Frankfurt look like the blue-and-whites of Hertha in the first half.
62'
CUNHA GOES A-TEASING
The Brazilian, called up to the national team for the first time just before the game kicked off, jinks in from the right and looks to bend a shot into the far corner - Trapp was stretching but Hinteregger was in the way.
60'
CORDOBA WINS A CORNER
And gets plenty of applause for his efforts...Cunha lines up the set-piece, and Frankfurt make not so much a meal but a real feast of getting it away before Kamada eventually boots it upfield.

PHEW!!
Cunha bends a free-kick in from the left..it's off a Frankfurt head and then Lukebakio and comes desperately close to finding the far corner of the net. Huge let-off for Frankfurt.
56'
TOURE IN THE BOOK
That'll be a second yellow of the half and the game for Frankfurt as Toure leaps in to challenge Tousart.
53'
TOUSART VS. TRAPP
The Frankfurt goalkeeper comes out and double fists a high ball straight to Tousart, 25 yards from goal. The French midfielder brings the ball down and fires a powerful shot on target, but Trapp is well placed and grabs it.
51'
FRANKFURT CHANCE
Three Hertha defenders go for the same ball, it drops for Frankfurt, and when a low cross comes in, Dost gets his feet in a muddle - if he'd made contact, Schwolow would have been struggling, surely.
49'
NOT A GOOD OMEN
Hertha have never won a Bundesliga game after being 2-0 down at half-time...
47'
RODE JUST A BIT LATE
In fact, very late. Cunha had nicked the ball away and Rode crunched down on his foot..and gets a yellow card.

Here we go again. Are we going to see more of the same? Or will that triple change kickstart Hertha?

ALL CHANGE
Well, there'll be three at half-time for Hertha. Labbadia is in heated discussion with Cordoba, Maier and Zeefuik...who'll be making way.

GOAL! HERTHA 0-2 FRANKFURT
Bas Dost just loves playing Hertha! The free-kick awarded from Tousart's foul is just arced into the box, around the penalty spot, by Kamada and Dost bullies the Hertha defence to plant a firm header wide of Schwolow's right hand. Gorgeous ball in, textbook header, and Frankfurt are flying.
36'
HIGH FROM TOUSART
Hertha's summer arrival from Lyon goes in high high high on Rode as the ball bounces up...no surprise to see a card come out for that.

LUKEBAKIO DENIED
When a long Pekarik cross from the right is played back across goal, the Belgian forward's snap shot is goal bound before Trapp throws himself to his left to make a top-drawer parry.

SECOND PEN FOR SILVA
The Frankfurt striker had tucked away a spot-kick in the 2-1 win over Wolfsburg on Matchday 29 last season.

GOAL! HERTHA 0-1 FRANKFURT
Silva puffs out his cheeks, looks at the goal...flashes a shot past Schwolow, who went the right way but couldn't live with the Portuguese forward's power. Deserved lead, you have to say.

PENALTY! OR IS IT?
Boyata lunges in on Silva inside the home box...and that will be a penalty.

NOT FAR FROM SILVA
While the Hertha fans boo as Tousart lies injured, Frankfurt go forward, and Silva gets in front of his marker to meet Toure's near-post cross - his header flies narrowly over.

MORE TROUBLE FOR FRANKFURT?
Abraham goes down under a challenge from Lukebakio...the visiting captain limps away after getting to his feet. After losing Kostic to a twisted right knee, Hütter won't want to make another enforced change.
20'
DOST NODS WIDE
Ilsanker wins the ball back, and when the ball goes out to Toure, his cross finds Dost, who gets up well but can't direct the header. But a shot...well, header across Hertha's bows.
18'
SLOW OUT OF THE BLOCKS
Usain Bolt tore round this blue track in 2009 but Hertha have not shown anything like as much verve in the opening 18 minutes. They have barely crossed the halfway line, which is also testament to Frankfurt's pressing.
14'
TRAPP-ED
Hertha get forward and fire a first cross into the Frankfurt area, but Kevin Trapp shows a safe pair of hands.

KOSTIC GETTING TREATMENT
The Serbia international, so vital down the left for Franfurt, looks to be struggling - it was a strong but fair challenge from Torunarigha, but Kostic felt it.
9'
SLICK SILVA
Cute footwork from the Frankfurt forward, skips past one, nutmegs another, but Torunarigha comes across and with what can only be described as 'an unceremonious clog' bashes the ball out of play before Kostic can reach the ball deep inside the Hertha box.
7'
ILSANKER-ED
Lukebakio is on the turf holding his head and an ankle in what could be a yoga pose if it weren't the result of being clattered into by Stefan Ilsanker. Not lasting damage, it seems, fortunately.

FRANKFURT ON THE BALL
But not doing all that much with it yet, though they have all but monopolised possession since the first whistle.

Not good news for fans of the Australia international - he's got a neck injury, and so misses out.
OLDIES BUT GOODIES?
The Frankfurt starting XI's average age is 29.4 years old - the last time they were that 'experienced' was on 30 January, 2010, when they averaged 29.5 years in a 2-1 defeat to Cologne.

GOAL GUARANTEE?
Hertha have scored four times in each of their competitive outings this season - the 5-4 DFB Cup loss to Braunschweig and the 4-1 win in Bremen - and have netted a club record 112 goals in their previous meetings with Frankfurt. Let's not jinx this, but surely...

FRANKFURT LINE-UP
Two changes for Adi Hütter: Almamy Touré comes in at right wing-back in place of Danny da Costa while Stefan Ilsanker, who came off the bench to replace Sebastian Rode against Bielefeld, starts alongside the former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund man in central midfield tonight.
HERTHA LINE-UP
'Why change a winning team?' is clearly a maxim Bruno Labbadia lives by. Because he hasn't. Same XI that started in Bremen start again tonight, and you have to say, why not?

SILVA LINING?
Andre Silva has scored nine goals in his last 11 Bundesliga matches since the coronavirus-enforced hiatus, as well as 10 in his last 16. He struck twice in the 4-1 win away to Hertha in June.
FRANKFURT TEAM NEWS
Forward Ragnar Ache and left-back Jetro Willems have both returned to training following injuries that kept them out of the season opener, but - while Ache could be in contention to make the squad for the trip to Berlin - Willems is still some time off featuring after over eight months out. Evan N'Dicka is another who we won't see in action for a little while, having picked up an ankle injury on the eve of the new season.
HERTHA TEAM NEWS
New signing Jhon Cordoba could make his first start for the club. Santiago Ascacibar and Javairo Dilrosun are the only absentees for Hertha's first home outing of the new Bundesliga term as they look to build on their flying start.
