POSITIVE CHANGES

Gio Reyna's on for Reus, who was a touch off-colour. Real Madrid-owned Reinier Jesus also enters the fray in place of Ncio Schulz, with Raphael Guerreiro reverting to left-back.
75'

KAMADA CHANCE

Kamada can do no better than teammate Silva. He blazes off target from inside the area, when he had options left and right.
73'

SILVA!

Andre Silva fires over on the turn from inside the BVB area. Let-off for Dortmund!
69'

HAALAND WIDE

Haaland is all alone in the Frankfurt half. He duly runs at Ilsanker and succeeds in carving out a yard of space to shoot. It's on his favoured side, but he cuts it wide. Not his day...
65'

FRANKFURT GOAL RULED OUT

Stefan Ilsanker thunders a header past Hitz, but the goal is ruled out following a VAR review. The Frankfurt defender moved too early as Kostic swung over the free-kick from the left.

HAZARD OFF

He's been one of Dortmund's brighter sparks, but Terzic says Hazard's day is done. Ansgar Knauff is on for his second Bundesliga appearance. Can the 19-year-old winger use that devilish pace of his to unlock the Frankfurt defence and feed Haaland, who's cut an isolated figure so far today...
61'

GUERREIRO WITH THE STRIKE

Dortmund play keep-ball in and around the Frankfurt box. Schulz plays a pass into the box which is laid off for Guerreiro by Reus. He's got loads of time, but sends a rushed effort straight at Trapp. Very open game right now...
58'

MISHIT!

Hazard hangs up a cross for Reus, whose attempted volley is into the ground, up and off a Frankfurt head and away. He gets a second bite of the cherry soon after, but doesn't test Trapp. BVB's captain is without a goal in 18 league games...
57'

DORTMUND CHANGE

Fresh ideas in the BVB midfield as Mahmoud Dahoud replaces Jude Bellingham, who was involved for England during the March international break.
51'

JOVIC ON THE PROWL

Jovic jinks into the Dortmund box, but is crowded out. He anticipates the arrival of Kamada to his right when the unmarked Kostic to his left was clearly the better option, and BVB can clear.
49'

WIDE FROM KAMADA!

Frankfurt turn attack into defence, with the ball going left to right in double-quick time. Durm goes into the box - and goes to ground - before Kamada scuffs wide from 18 yards. Frankfurt's half-hearted penalty appeals for that challenge by Hummels on Durm are waved away.
46'

KAMADA ON

Amin Younes hasn't been able to shake off that earlier knock. The Napoli loanee is replaced by Japan international Daichi Kamada at the start of the second half.

ALL SQUARE

Hummels' late effort was deserved after that earlier Schulz own goal. Can Dortmund push on and get the win they so desperately need in their pursuit of a top-four finish.

HUMMELS LEVELS!

Dortmund equalise on the stroke of half time! Reus's out-swinging corner is nodded down by Can. Hummels reacts fastest to sweep the ball home from six yards. Simple for Dortmund, scrappy from Frankfurt - game on!

SAFE HANDS

Bellingham escapes the attentions of the Frankfurt defence. He gets to the byline and stabs a ball back into the danger zone, but it's straight into the gloves of Trapp. Edin Terzic needs a bit of magic from somewhere...
39'

YOUNES DOWN

A Kostic cross catches Jovic and bounces up onto the hand of Delaney in the Dortmund box. Younes goes down in the ensuing scrap for the loose ball - he needs treatment. The referee, meanwhile, consults the VAR, but isn't interested in the penalty.

HUMMELS HEADER

Mats Hummels is in the Frankfurt box to meet a Hazard cross, but his header lacks the power to seriously trouble Trapp.

OVER AND OUT FROM KOSTIC

Younes bursts forward with real purpose. Kostic moves into a central position to take on the shot, but his attempt is deflected behind for a corner that doesn't clear the first man.

UNFORTUNATE OGGY

Nico Schulz's own goal is all that separates fifth and fourth in the table. It's the first time he's put through his own net in 144 Bundesliga appearances.
32'

WRONG OPTION

Hazard wriggles clear of his man on halfway, and the break is on for Dortmund. Haaland and Reus are making moves, but the Belgian gets his attempted pass all kinds of wrong. Sums up BVB's display so far.

HAALAND AGAIN!

Haaland with the chance to atone for that earlier miss, but Trapp's out in a flash to block. Guerreiro volleys the loose ball goalwards, but it's blocked by a white shirt. That was going in, with Trapp scrambling to get back into position.
23'

TRAPP BLOCKS!

Bellingham could shoot, but instead slides the ball into the path of Can in the Frankfurt box. His low cross is met at the near post by the outstretched foot of Trapp, and Frankfurt live to fight another day.
22'

HAALAND!

Big, big chance for Haaland. Bellingham lofts a ball through to Guerreiro, who helps it over the Frankfurt defence for Haaland. He's into the box, but it's on his weaker right foot and he side-foots when. Perhaps should have put his boot through that one.

SILVA HALF CHANCE!

Frankfurt power forward with Kostic. His cross finds the head of the stooping Silva, who forces a relatively routine diving save from Hitz. BVB need to get men closer to that man Kostic.
12'

FRANKFURT LEAD!

Frankfurt make the most of their first meaningful attack. N'Dicka's involved in the final third, finding the feet of Kostic. He loops a cross towards Silva in the six-yard box, but Schulz gets there first, inadvertently looping a header over Hitz and into the net.

HANDBALL?

Younes takes aim from 18 yards. Hummels is going to ground as he gets a block in. There's a suspicion of handball, but that was more bicep and nothing is given.

GUERREIRO HAS A GO!

Hazard has time to pick out a cross from the right. Tuta clears only as far as Guerreiro, whose first-time strike from the edge of the area whistles wide.
4'

DORTMUND IN BEHIND

BVB make in-roads up the right-hand flank this time through Hazard. He whips in a cross towards the near-post. Trapp can't keep hold of it, but Durm is on hand to sweep clear. Good spell for Dortmund, this. They're finding joy in behind the Frankfurt wide players.
3'

HAALAND DENIED

Erling Haaland cushions a long pass into the path of Reus with his chest. He continues his run as Guerreiro advances up the left-hand side with the ball at his feet. The cross is Haaland-bound, but Stefan Ilsanker intervenes before the Norway international can pounce.

TEAMS OUT

Dortmund take to the field in their classic black-and-yellow colours. Frankfurt are in all white. Kick-off is just around the corner...

MORE ON THAT DORTMUND TEAM

Emre Can starts on the right-hand side of what looks like a four-man defence. Nico Schulz continues on the opposite flank, with the fit-again Raphael Guerreiro starting in a a more advanced role. Marco Reus shakes off a knock to start, with Gio Reyna among the substitutes.

MORE ON THAT FRANKFURT TEAM

Adi Hütter turns to Tuta in the absence of suspended defender Makoto Hasebe. Erik Durm is recalled on the right-hand side following injury, while Amin Younes gets the nod over Daichi Kamada in the No.10 role. Luka Jovic partners Andre Silva in attack.

TOO MANY DRAWS?

If they hadn't drawn so many games, Eintracht would have a far greater lead over Dortmund in the race for a top-four finish. Frankfurt have been involved in 11 stalemates after 26 rounds of fixtures - a league-high number of draws shared with seventh-placed Union Berlin. That said, another share of the spoils wouldn't be the worst result in the world against their nearest challengers for the Bundesliga's fourth and final qualifying spot.

HOME FORTRESS

Terzic has overseen 15 Bundesliga matches since replacing Lucien Favre on a temporary basis as Dortmund coach. He's won seven, drawn three and lost five, but is unbeaten in six on home soil, claiming 14 points from a possible 18 at the Signal Iduna Park.

THE HAALANDATOR

Haaland has scored 34 goals in 36 Bundesliga appearances to date. Silva's on 33 German-top flight goals, despite playing 13 games more. It took Lewandowski 77 matches to reach the same tally as the wrecking ball that is Dortmund's present-day No.9.

'A DEFINING GAME'

The importance of the fixture is not lost on Dortmund interim coach Edin Terzic. "It's a six-pointer," he admitted at his customary pre-match press conference. "We will see at the end of the campaign how important it was, but it's obviously a defining game in terms of our objective for the season." Dortmund, who face Manchester City in their Champions League quarter-final first leg next Tuesday, have qualified for the tournament's group stage via their league placement in nine of the last 10 seasons, only missing out in 2015.

TOP-FOUR AMBITIONS

"Reaching the Champions League with Frankfurt would be like winning a league title," said Eintracht coach Adi Hütter recently. The Eagles resume their pursuit of Champions League football in fourth place, with a four-point cushion on fifth-in-the-table Dortmund. They're the division's third highest scorers, have only suffered three defeats and are one of only five teams in Europe to beat Hansi Flick's Bayern Munich. A seventh win in 10 Rückrunde games would represent a huge step towards a maiden season of Champions League football...

REYNA TO THE RESCUE

Dortmund played out their first Bundesliga draw in almost a year as Daichi Kamada's early goal for Frankfurt was cancelled out by Gio Reyna's glorious second-half strike when the two sides met in Frankfurt earlier this season. Reyna put away his third Bundesliga goal a week later, but has since gone 13 matches without a league goal. Unlucky for Eintracht...?

WHEN GOALSCORERS COLLIDE

A fixture between two sides battling it out for a place in next season's UEFA Champions League, the Matchday 27 showdown between Dortmund and Frankfurt also pits together Europe's highest-scoring forwards not named Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. Haaland, like Silva, has 21 Bundesliga goals to his name this term; only Lewandowski (35), Messi (23) and Ronaldo (23) have more than the BVB and Frankfurt goalbrokers across Europe's top five leagues this season.
