WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE THE TITLE

Bayern's second-biggest win of the season, only bettered by that opening day victory over Schalke (8-0) and with a hat-trick, Lewandowski is one goal from matching Gerd Müller's record and two from making it his own.
86'

SANE MAKES IT SIX!

It's another for Bayern and a lovely goal it is. Gnabry slots Sane in on goal and he slots home past Sommer with a simple finish. Bayern ruthless once again.

WENDT BLOCKED!

The ball comes to Wendt in space to the left of Bayern's goal after a cross from the right and he gets a shot away, but once again it's a fantastic block from Pavard to help keep Gladbach out.
84'

LATE CHANGE

Herrmann is on for Embolo here in the final minutes for the away side.

NOT FAR OFF

Kimmich exchanges a few passes with Sane around the Gladbach area before turning out and around the corner onto his left. He curls a shot for the far bottom corner, but this one is just wide as well.

Quietly from midfield, as ever, Kimmich has been dominant for Bayern once again.

A chance at the other end as Gnabry cuts in from the left, but he drags this shot wide across goal past Sommer's post.

ZAKARIA SO CLOSE!

Almost the goal for Gladbach as Plea slides Zakaria in on goal down the right, and he slides the ball back across goal beyond Neuer, but it moves just past the post. That was a golden chance for Gladbach to get one back.

NIANZOU SENT OFF!

A red card for the French defender as he brings down Embolo, who was clean through on goal after touching the ball past the substitute.

39 goals and counting for Lewandowski, with 201 in 217 Bundesliga games for Bayern.

NUMBER 39!

Lewandowski slots home the penalty to complete his hat-trick and reach 39 goals for the season. Just wow. What a player. And that means, of course, he needs just one more to reach Gerd Müller's record. One. More. Goal.

It's a three-on-one situation for Gladbach, and Zakaria is running at goal but he can't decide whether to pass or shoot and in the end, Pavard makes a huge challenge to end the attack.
54'

PLEA NOT FAR AWAY!

A rare change for Gladbach as Plea takes aim from 20 yards, but he sends his shot wide across goal. A better start to the second half for Gladbach but still plenty of goals to make up.
48'

STRAIGHT BACK! OUT!

Bayern are flying again in this second half as Lewandowski sends Coman away. He then gives Musiala the ball on the overlap, but his cutback looking for Lewandowski is blocked away. Bayern have no interest in slowing down here.
47'

ALMOST ANOTHER FOR MÜLLER!

Lewandowski's crosses into the middle from the left and it's a perfect ball to meet Müller's run into the middle. He connects with the header, but sends it straight at Sommer from close range.

BAYERN FLAWLESS

The hosts have been in full flow this half and deservedly three goals to the good. It's been a struggle for Gladbach to keep the ball high up the pitch, with Bayern's defence dominating the pressing game.

200 FOR LEWY!

In his 217th Bundesliga game for the club, Lewandowski has scored his 200th goal. A remarkable return which only one other player has ever reached: Gerd Müller.

WHAT A FINISH FROM LEWANDOWSKI!

We should come to expect it now, but Bayern's star man just continues to defy all logic with his goals. This one is right out of the top drawer as Müller plays a ball to the left side of Gladbach's area where Lewandowski is waiting the wrong side of a defender. He turns and meets it sideways, on the full volley, and smashes home past Sommer at his near post. A stunning way to reach 38 goals for the season! Two more...

Should the hosts keep a clean sheet tonight it will be Manuel Neuer's 204th in the Bundesliga, bringing him level with Bayern legend Oliver Kahn at the top of the list. And Neuer will have done it over 100 fewer games.
23'

MÜLLER MAKES IT TWO!

Bayern in full flow once again here. Coman sprints away down the right and crosses to the back post, where Musiala collects it. He spots Müller's darting run in front of goal and find him to slot home for his 11th goal of the campaign, and Musiala's first assist of 2020/21. NEW RECORD FOR LEWY

It's difficult for Lewandowski to break many more records these days, but this one may come as a surprise to most. Tonight's goal was his fastest since coming to Germany in 2010, coming inside two minutes. The first of his 393 goals to come so early on.

MUSIALA SHOT BLOCKED

Kimmich floats a ball into the Gladbach area for Müller to chest down in front of goal. Musiala controls and shoots, but his effort is well blocked by Zakaria. Bayern starting well here, but Gladbach looking dangerous on the counter-attack as well.

With just three league games to play for Bayern and the title wrapped up, it appears the attentions have turned to making sure Lewandowski has a chance of breaking this record...

Gladbach respond well, getting in behind the Bayern backline down the left. The ball comes back across the edge of the Bayern area with Lazaro laying it off for Lainer to shoot, but his effort is high and wide.

NUMBER 37 FOR LEWY!

After just two minutes the champions take the lead and it's that man Robert Lewandowski. He's unmarked at the back post as Alaba crosses into the middle from the left and the ball bounces through to the Pole. He controls and smashes the ball back across goal into the bottom corner for his 37th goal of the season. He needs three more to equal Gerd Müller's scoring record for a season...

FLICK'S REMARKABLE RECORD

It's now seven titles in 18 months for Flick at Bayern. He's only suffered seven defeats in 83 matches in charge of the record Bundesliga chamoions. However, two of Flick’s seven defeats in his 83 competitive matches in charge have come against Gladbach.

SOMMER: "LEWANDOWSKI RECORD WOULD BE ICING ON THE CAKE"

Gladbach's No.1 says breaking the 40-goal single-season Bundesliga record would be the "icing on the cake" in Lewandowski's career, but is determined that it won't happen this weekend. "The record would be the icing on the cake for his incredible career," Sommer told Sport1. "He's been playing at a consistently high level for years and is a key player in a great team. He's a great finisher and an unpredictable one too. I'll have to be quick and make good decisions. I wouldn't begrudge him the record - just not this weekend."

BAYERN OUT TO WARM-UP (WITH A SONG!)

As the home side come out to warm-up the song "Deutsche Fußball Meister (German Football Champions) rings around the Allianz Arena. Smiles on the faces of all the Bayern squad, but they will want to end the season on a high for themselves.

BIG DAY FOR THE FOALS

While Bayern's job is done in the league, it's still all to play for, for Gladbach. The away side are five points off Leverkusen in the race for a Europa League spot, with Bayer dropping points at Bremen today in a 0-0 draw. For them, it will be huge to get all three points this evening.

WILL GLADBACH SPOIL THE PARTY?

Since the start of 2014/15, no team has taken more points off Bayern than Gladbach (20 in 13 Bundesliga matches). However, Gladbach have the worst away record of all teams in the current top seven (18 points from 15 games), winning only won of their last eight on the road.

BAYERN TEAM NEWS

Despite the title bring wrapped up, Bayern are at full-strength - something that in recent weeks means a start for Musiala. Alaba is pushed into midfield with Goretzka on the bench.

GLADBACH TEAM NEWS

Plea is waiting on the bench again, while Hofmann, who didn't feature against Bielefeld, is recalled. Club captain Stindl is also back in training, but only fit for the bench, giving coach Marco Rose plenty of options in the final third.

BAYERN MUNICH ARE BUNDESLIGA CHAMPIONS!

Before even kicking a ball today, Bayern Munich have been crowned Bundesliga champions for the 30th time. It comes after RB Leipzig fell to a late 3-2 defeat at Borussia Dortmund.

FLICK: "GLADBACH WILL MAKE US WORK"

"They play good football, from Sommer right through to the attackers," said Bayern head coach Hansi Flick on Friday. "They have so much quality. They'll make us work and we'll need a top performance. We have three games to play and we can claim the title by winning any one of them."

MUSIALA NAMED APRIL ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Bayern teenager Jamal Musiala has been named as the Bundesliga's Rookie of the Month for April. Here's why...

ROSE: "WE NEED CONVICTION"

"Taking on Bayern when they have the chance to win the title is a difficult challenge," said Gladbach coach Rose at his pre-match media briefing. "We were too passive in the opening stages in the reverse fixture. We need to have the right amount of conviction if we're to get another result. There are nine points still up for grabs. We have to pick up as many possible from our remaining games. We have four points to make up on Leverkusen and need to keep Union and Freiburg behind us too."

STINDL TO RETURN?

The Gladbach captain has been out of action since Matchday 28 (10 April), but he trained with the rest of the team this week and head coach Marco Rose said he "looks to be in good shape," but that he would "have to see how long he could play for on Saturday".

CAN LEWANDOWSKI EDGE CLOSER TO HISTORY?

Lewandowski is averaging a goal every 61 minutes in this season’s Bundesliga, and his current tally of 26 leaves him just four shy of equalling the league's all-time record of 40 set by the legendary Gerd Müller. He'll be keen to inch closer to that today - even if winning the title remains the obvious priority. However, the Polish forward has tallied just five goals in 17 league meetings with Gladbach, his lowest return of all current Bundesliga teams he has faced more than three times (not including Bayern).

WATCH: NEUER, THE WORLD'S NO.1

Gladbach will have to negotiate a way past arguably the best goalkeeper ever to have played the game: Manuel Neuer. Here's a glimpse at what makes him stand out from the crowd.

BAYERN'S BOGEY TEAM

Gladbach have enjoyed more success than most against Bayern recently, however, so could well spoil the party. The Foals have won four of their last seven meetings with the Reds, including a 3-2 triumph earlier this season and a 3-0 away victory in October 2018. Overall, Bayern have taken maximum points from 50 of the 105 Bundesliga encounters between these two to date, with 26 Gladbach wins and 29 draws.

IS TODAY THE DAY?

After Bayern slipped to a surprising 2-1 defeat in Mainz two weeks ago, they have their next chance to seal the 2020/21 Bundesliga title today, needing just one victory from their remaining three fixtures to confirm a ninth successive Meisterschale. Gladbach are still in the running for European qualification, however, so also have plenty riding on the game.
