ROLLS REUS!

Dortmund retake the lead! After setting up Hazard for a breakaway shot well saved by Müller, BVB captain Reus is on hand to turn in the follow-up. A potentially huge goal in the context of the title race!

WIDE FROM MALEN!

It's the right idea from Malen as he collects Hazard's pass into the box, jinks inside and shoots towards Müller's near post. He drags it just wide, though.
77'

OFFSIDE

Endo curls a ball into the path of Tibidi. He's clear of the Dortmund defence, but he can only fire straight and Kobel, and is offside in any case. Stuttgart are going for this...

LONE STRIKER

Reus sends a hurried effort off target, before Rose rolls the dice. Steffen Tigges - a physical striker - replaces midfielder Brandt.

WHO IS TIBIDI?

Pellegrino Matarazzo hands a Bundesliga debut to 18-year-old French forward Alexis Tibidi, who joined Stuttgart's U19s from the Toulouse equivalent in the summer. Nikolas Nartey and Daniel Didavi are also on for the visitors.

OFF THE BAR!

Akanji with a thunderbolt from 18 yards. It takes a deflection as a full-stretch Müller touches the ball onto the crossbar. Bellingham sidfefoots a difficult volley over on the rebound.
63'

EQUALISER!

Dortmund's lead does not last long! Förster disposses Akanji and finds Karazor. He rolls the ball to Massimo, who goes past Hummels far too easily on the edge of the area, before slotting confidently beyond Kobel.

ANTON!

Wow! Anton thunders an effort goalwards from distance. Kobel's beaten all ends up, but it whistles wide. Stuttgart defenders have scored plenty of goals this season - that would have been the best of the lot.

DORTMUND LEAD!

BVB break the deadlock as the Signal Iduna Park! Bellingham's heavily involved on the edge of the Stuttgart area, recycling possession and finding Guerreiro. He helps it on to Malen, who takes aim from 18 yards, a deflection off the sliding Ito leaving Müller with no change in the Stuttgart goal. That's the Dutchman's first in the Bundesliga!

REUS!

Anton is penalised for blocking the run of Malen on the edge of the Stuttgart area. Reus whips the ensuing free-kick over the defensive wall, and into the arms of Müller. Might have been better suited to the left foot of Guerreiro, that one.

UNDER WAY AGAIN!

Pardon the automated entries just there - we were experiencing tech issues during the first 45. The second half is under way in Dortmund.

HALF-TIME: DORTMUND 0-0 STUTTGART

Guerreiro smashes a goal-bound effort into the match referee. That's the last action of an entertaining half with presentable chances at both ends.

37' KOBEL TO THE RESCUE!

Coulibaly is first to a ball over the top, helped on by Mangala. He's about 14 yards out and catches it well, but former teammate Kobel is out to narrow the angle and springs to his right to push the shot to safety.

36' HAZARD!

Florian Müller claws away Brandt's cross. Bellingham busts a gut to keep the situation alive. Hazard takes on the shot from the edge of the box, and very nearly finds the top corner. Some hit!

35' YELLOW CARD

Coulibaly catches Hummels late. The Stuttgart midfielder can have no complaints with the booking; Hummels is still griping over that one.

28' NOT GIVEN!

Dortmund want a penalty for an apparent handball in the box, but the referee is unmoved. It was a teasing delivery from Guerreiro - he's looked lively on his return from injury.

25' HAZARD WARNING!

A left-wing cross is defelcted into the path of Hazard. He expertly controls the looping ball with his chest, but is under heavy pressure as he goes to volley and drives wide with the outside of his right boot.

21' STUTTGART UP THE ANTE

The visitors are finding joy playing through Dortmund's press. Coulibaly is into the box, but Akanji tracks him all the way and makes a tidy challenge. Moments later, Sosa and Massimo test Kobel from range.

15' FÖRSTER CHANCE!

Stuttgart return fire as Sosa whips a ball into the feet of Förster. It's on his weaker right side, though, and he fires off target. The Dortmund defence parted a touch too easily there.

12' DORTMUND THREATENING!

Thorgan Hazard challenges for a ball into the box, but Mavropanos does just enough to put off the Belgian and it's an easy save for Müller. Dortmund come again as Julian Brandt floats a cross onto the head of Malen, who powers wide. Good spell for the hosts, this.

10' HAALAND WATCH

Haaland isn't on the pitch, but he is - as ever - watching intently from the stands. Rose said in his pre-match press conference that the striker could yet play before the year's out. The 21-year-old has missed BVB's last six competitive matches with a troublesome hip flexor injury.

5' REUS!

Oof! Not far away at all from Marco Reus. He whips a free-kick just past the upright, with Florian Müller at full stretch. Great work from Jude Bellingham to draw the foul on the edge of the 18-yard box. Still hard to believe he's only 18.

KICK-OFF!

The ball's rolling in front of a vocal home crowd. BVB immediately on the ball and moving it well.

THE STANDINGS

Second-placed Dortmund can close the gap on Bayern to a point with a win, following the leaders' shock loss to Augsburg on Friday. It's a result that has dropped Stuttgart into the relegation play-off spot. If they lose in Dortmund and Bielefeld get a positive result at home to Wolfsburg, VfB could fall into the automatic relegation places.

WATCH: DORTMUND 1-5 STUTTGART

Stuttgart hit five past Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park for the first time and earned their first win in Westphalia in 13 years with a scintillating performance in last season's corresponding fixture. The result cost Lucien Favre his job, with Edin Terzic stepping in to rescue BVB's season. He did that in style, the Black-Yellows eventually finishing third and lifting the DFB Cup.

MORE ON THOSE TEAMS

Marco Rose reverts to a four-man defence following Dortmund's 2-1 loss at Leipzig, with the fit-again Raphael Guerreiro returning at left-back. Marin Pongracic makes way, while Donyell Malen leads the line once more in the absence of injured top scorer Erling Haaland. Stuttgart, meanwhile, welcome back influential defender Kostaninos Mavropanos. Tanguy Coulibaly and Philipp Förster come into the midfield, in the only other changes to the side that lost 1-0 to Arminia Bielefeld prior to the international break.
