Leipzig, meanwhile, are currently eighth but they could go fifth if they take all three points.

Leverkusen boss Gerardo Seoane has made two changes to his side following the 3-2 UEFA Europa League triumph over Celtic on Thursday. Tapsoba comes in at centre-back in for Kossounou, who drops to the bench, while Schick returns from injury to make his first appearance since 24 October, with Paulinho making way.

As such, goalkeeper Josep Martinez makes just his second Bundesliga appearance, while Brian Brobbey makes his first start in Germany's top flight. The only bad news for the home side is that they have lost both times this season when Marsch has named an unchanged line-up (losing 1-0 in both Mainz and Wolfsburg).
