IN THE RIGHT PLACE
Pongracic bundles over Mittelstädt deep in the Dortmund half. Free-kick to Hertha right where they want to be with 45 seconds to go.

ADDED TIME
There are FIVE minutes to be added on at the Olympiastadion. And if Dortmund can't find a goal, they'll finish the first half of the season nine points off leaders Bayern.

HAALAND WIDE
There is the first attempt from the Norwegian, getting his head to a corner at the front post, but it loops well wide of the back stick.

GAME ON!
And the change has an immediate effect. A short corner on the right is worked back to taker Guerreiro, who swings in from deeper. Tigges gets up highest in the middle and plants a header past Schwolow. One goal in it again, around 10 minutes to go in the capital.

FINAL ROLL OF THE DICE
Dortmund send on their final substitution as striker Tigges replaces Brandt.

A RARE FEAT
The only other games in the Bundesliga this season where Dortmund have conceded three goals was in their 4-3 win at Leverkusen and the 3-2 defeat to Bayern - the two teams immediately above and below them. Hertha were 15th at kick-off.

ROSE GOES FOR IT
The Dortmund boss decides he has to change things up. Three defenders to maybe liven things up at both ends. Don't forget that Borussia were leading at half-time.

OH MO!
Slick play from BVB as Malen races up the inside right and cuts the ball back. Dahoud runs onto it and hits it first time, opening up his left foot to look for the far top corner, but he gets too much on it and the ball clips the roof of the net on its way over. That single shot almost doubled Dortmund's xG.

HAZARD PUTS IT AWAY... OFFSIDE
Haaland has looked furious the last few minutes and suddenly bursts into life. He's onto a through ball up the inside left, tries to lift it past Schwolow. The Hertha keeper gets a hand to it, but Hazard is there first to turn the ball home. It won't count, though, as Haaland was offside in the first place.

FINALLY FOR BELFO
That was Belfodil's first Bundesliga goal since 18 May 2018 for Hoffenheim in Mainz. He's gone 30 games (1535 minutes) without one since then.

HAALAND TIME?
The BVB striker didn't have a shot in the first half and had just 15 touches (the fewest of all Dortmund players), although he did play the pass leading to the goal. He's scored 35 of his 53 Bundesliga goals in second halves.

HALF-TIME
Hertha will claim they've had the better chances and maybe should've been ahead if not for a tight offside call, but it's actually Dortmund who hold the advantage after Brandt's lovely finish. It's only the second time BVB have been ahead at half-time away from home in the league this season - the previous occasion was their 3-1 win at Bielefeld on Matchday 9. Still finely poised ahead of the second 45 minutes.

WITSEL OFFSIDE
Ball is in the Hertha net again as Pongracic heads a deep corner towards goal and Witsel stabs it in, but there's no questioning this offside decision.

TORUNARIGHA WIDE
Another set piece causes problems in the Dortmund box. This time it falls to Torunarigha left of goal, but he can't wrap his foot around it.

BRANDT ON FIRE!
A lovely finish from the Germany international to continue his great form. Haaland attempts a through ball that deflects off Mittelstädt. Brandt continues his run up the inside left and pulls out a cool chip over Schwolow.

CALMER NOW
Things were quite hectic to start with - at both ends of the pitch - but it's settled down a bit now with Hertha happy to let Dortmund have the ball up to the halfway line.

HERTHA DENIED BY THE FLAG
The Berliners do have it in the net now and are off celebrating after Maolida turned in a Pekarik cross from the right on the back of a turnover in the BVB half. But a lengthy VAR check rules that Belfodil, who made a move towards the ball, was a foot offside before Maolida got there. It remains level.

HAS TO GO IN!
That really had to be the lead for Hertha. Free-kick floated into the box is only cleared against the head of Pongracic and it falls for Ekkelenkamp, but he somehow slices the bouncing ball wide from a few yards out.
13'
REUS AGAIN!
An even better chance for the Germany international. Again it's a delivery from Meunier down the right, this time onto the head of Reus unmarked in the centre, but he can't direct his headed on target. Big chance for the skipper.

MEUNIER ACROSS GOAL...
The BVB right-back gets in down the right and looks to square for Haaland in the centre. It's cut out by a retreating Hertha defender right in front of his own goal. The Belgian then puts his second attempted cross out behind.
6'
EKKELENKAMP!
Hertha suddenly string some passes together and get up the other end. Ekkelenkamp is found left of centre in the box, he leaves Pongracic standing and tries to stab the ball into the far corner, but Hitz gets in the dive to parry to the side.
4'
FRONT FOOT
The visitors have come flying out of the blocks and are pressing Hertha high on the edge of their own box. They win it back but Brandt's attempted cross is far too long.

MOMENTS AWAY
The teams have made their way down the escalator from their changing rooms at the Olympiastadion and are about to emerge into the Berlin rain.
HITZ = WINS?
This is just a third competitive outing of the season for back-up goalkeeper Marwin Hitz, but it bodes well for Dortmund. The 34-year-old has been on the winning side in his two previous appearances, Bielefeld on Matchday 9 and in the second round of the DFB Cup against Ingolstadt.
MILESTONE FOR CAN
This match represents Emre Can's 50th Bundesliga appearance for Dortmund. He's also made a further four in Germany's top flight for Bayern, and 29 for Leverkusen.
TEAM NEWS - HERTHA
There are six new faces in the Hertha starting line-up in the wake of their 4-0 humbling in Mainz. Pekarik, Ekkelenkamp, Maolida, Mittelstädt, Richter and Torunarigha have all been given the nod in place of Plattenhardt, Tousart, Zeefuik (all among the substitutes), Boyata Jovetic and Serdar (all out injured).

HOME BOY HAALAND?
The Dortmund talisman has been scoring for fun this season - on home turf at least. He's only featured in four Bundesliga away games so far owing to injury, but has fired blanks in three of them. He did get two goals and an assist as Marco Rose's men won 4-3 in Leverkusen though. That was back in early September, so he's long overdue another one on the road.
BAD OMEN FOR HERTHA?
Korkut has faced BVB four times as head coach, thrice with Hannover and once with Stuttgart. He has ended up on the losing side on three of those occasions, but did mastermind a 1-0 away win for Hannover in Dortmund in October 2014.

NO HUMMELS OR KOBEL
Dortmund will be forced into two changes, with Mats Hummels and goalkeeper Gregor Kobel not making the trip to Berlin due to illness. They are likely to be replaced by Emre Can and Marwin Hitz respectively.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
History is firmly on Dortmund's side in this fixture, the Black-and-Yellows winning 32 of the 68 league encounters over the years, including each of the last five. There have been 18 draws, and 18 Hertha triumphs.

PREVIOUS MEETING: DORTMUND 2-0 HERTHA
FORM - HERTHA
Hertha have struggled for consistency this season, and have had mixed results in the three matches under new head coach Tayfun Korkut too. They started out with a 2-2 draw in Stuttgart, earning a point after going 2-0 down, and followed it up with a 2-0 win over Bielefeld last weekend. However, a one-sided 4-0 reverse in Mainz on Tuesday stemmed any momentum. Home form this term has been patchy too (W3 D2 L2), but they are unbeaten in their last four outings at the Olympiastadion.
FORM - DORTMUND
BVB have won three of their last five Bundesliga matches, most recently overcoming Greuther Fürth 3-0 on Wednesday. They drew 1-1 in Bochum in their last away game, with the 3-2 Klassiker defeat by Bayern before then. Dortmund have a respectable, rather than spectacular, record on the road this season, winning three, losing three and drawing one of their seven games so far, scoring 13 and conceding 11.
THE STAKES
We round off today's fixtures with a cracker in the capital as second-placed Dortmund look to close the gap on leaders Bayern Munich, who pulled nine points clear in the standings with their 4-0 triumph over Wolfsburg yesterday. For Hertha, survival is at stake. Currently 15th in the table, they are just one point above Stuttgart in the relegation play-off spot, while 17th-placed Bielefeld are just a couple of points worse off in 17th.
