As for the visitors, Christian Streich makes just one change from the team that blew a 2-0 lead to draw with Bielefeld. It sees Manuel Gulde replace Keven Schlotterbeck in central defence, with the latter not in the squad. His brother Nico is also not involved, just like first-choice goalkeeper Mark Flekken. New signing Hugo Siquet is also in line for his debut after the 19-year-old right-back joined from Standard Liege.

It’s a rare unchanged XI from Dortmund, with Marco Rose naming the same team that started the dramatic 3-2 win at Frankfurt last Saturday. It’s the first time since last January that BVB have gone with the same line-up in consecutive games. Manuel Akanji is also back in the squad following knee surgery. He last featured in the Klassiker defeat to Bayern at the start of December.
