MÖHWALD!
The midfielder still wants his goal and connects sweetly with an effort from the edge of the area that Kobel does very well to claw away and preserve his clean sheet.

ALMOST A GIFT
Back at the scene of his record-breaking first Bundesliga goal, Moukoko runs at Luthe to apply some pressure and is almost gifted a goal when the ball is kicked against the teenage striker and loops just inches wide.

UNION BACK IN IT? NO...
A potential lifeline for the Berliners as Trimmel delivers an inch-perfect cross from the right on the day he became Union's outright record appearance holder in the Bundesliga. Möhwald bursts between everyone to head home, but the referee is called to take a look on the pitchside monitor and decides that Ujah had fouled Akanji while challenging for the ball.

DONE DEAL?
Union had looked to be coming back into the game but this might be the final nail. Bellingham just about keeps the ball in to cut it back. Malen is denied from point blank by Luthe, but it falls to Guerreiro, who pokes in to make it 3-0 and surely secure three points.

MICHEL OVER
Union aren't out of this yet. Crossfield ball finds Oczipka high on the left, who cuts back for Michel. He tries to flick it towards goal but can't keep it down.
62'
DOUBLE CHANGE
Hour hone and Union roll the dice first with two new faces, even taking off top scorer Awoniyi.
60'
GUERREIRO TOO CENTRAL
BVB earn a free-kick pretty central, around 25 yards out. Reus and Guerreiro are standing over it. It's the latter in the end to take, but he only bends it into the grateful arms of Luthe.

BECKER!
All better from Union so far. This time a corner is cleared only as far as Becker 20+ yards out, which he hits first time on his left foot but can only bend wide of the far post.

PRÖMEL!
Great chance for Union at the start of this half as Oczipka delivers a free-kick from the left. Prömel gets his head to it around the back but almost seems like he didn't expect it and the ball bounces off him away from the direction of the goal.

MALEN!
He's been impressive so far today and almost caps a lovely, quick-paced move by BVB as he shoots from a tight angle on the right, but Jaeckel manages to throw himself in between.

BRANDT CARD
Brandt had gone 239 games between his first and second yellow card in the Bundesliga. He's now got two in his last four, this time for a lunge in midfield.

MICHEL MISJUDGES
Trimmel with a teasing cross from the right again, but Michel doesn't really judge it in the centre and the ball bounces off his legs instead of a shot.

AUDACIOUS MALEN
The Dutchman attempts a bold chip from inside the box, but it's straight into the arms of Luthe.

BAUMGARTL BOOKED
The Union defender hauls down Brandt and is shown the first card of the game.

OCZIPKA DENIED
A cross from the right comes all the way through to Oczipka coming in from the left, but the former Schalke man is denied from close range by a brave Kobel coming off his line.

REUS KEEPS ON CLIMBING
The 32-year-old now has 141 Bundesliga goals to his name, taking him level with Bernd Nickel in 18th place on the league's all-time scoring chart.
20'
AWONIYI OFF TARGET
Union seek an immediate response as Oczipka digs out a cross from the left of the box. Awoniyi gets up high and meets it with his head, but can't get any accuracy on it as it drifts wide.
18'
REUS STRIKES!
It had been coming and Dortmund now have the lead. Again they flood black and yellow shirts into the box and the ball pops up for Reus to the left of goal. No mistake from the BVB captain as he drills his shot between the legs of Luthe.

MALEN FLUFFS IT
The Dutchman picks up some speed as he bursts through the middle coming from the right, but he can't sort his feet as he tries to get a shot away.

First shot in anger from the visitors. Well off target from distance by Guerreiro.

FORMATION WATCH
The question before kick-off was whether it was a back three or four from Dortmund. Well, Akanji is definitely the furthest right of the defenders but not playing quite as high as Guerreiro on the left. It's not beyond teams nowadays to almost look for a hybrid, switching between a three and four when in possession and not. One to keep a further eye on...

GREAT ATMOPSHERE
As always at the Alte Försterei, there's a great atmosphere. Even with only 10,000 of a possible 22,000 allowed in.
STILL A STRONG RECORD
KEEP HOLD OF IT
The stats show that the number of goals scored in the Bundesliga following turnovers of possession has increased substantially in recent years. Dortmund in particular have been victims of that this season. They conceded three times after losing the ball last week against Leverkusen. It means they have shipped 13 in that manner over the season – the most of any team. Union have conceded the fourth fewest with six. Only three have been counter-attacks, while BVB have been hit seven times on the break – again, the most in the division.
WHO WILL SHOW A REACTION?
Both these sides were beaten last matchday, but both have also bounced back with at least a point after their last nine defeats. It’s over a year since either side lost back-to-back Bundesliga games.

DORTMUND TEAM NEWS
BVB were heavily beaten last matchday by Bayer Leverkusen, but Marco Rose only opts for two changes. Thomas Meunier is injured, so it looks like Manuel Akanji will shift over to right-back as Mats Hummels comes into central defence. Axel Witsel coming in to anchor the midfield in place of forward Thorgan Hazard is the other alteration. Top scorer Erling Haaland remains sidelined.
UNION TEAM NEWS
Urs Fischer makes five changes from the defeat at Augsburg last week. Andreas Voglsammer, Dominique Heintz, Niko Gießelmann and Rani Khedira are all unavailable, while Genki Haraguchi drops to the bench. Paul Jaeckel, Levin Öztunali, Grischa Prömel, Bastian Oczipka and one-time BVB youth player Sven Michel all come in.
