BAYERN MARCH ON
Bayern move a step closer to a record-extending 10th successive Bundesliga title thanks to Lewandowski's 32nd Bundesliga goal of the season. Credit to Augsburg - they're desperately unlucky not to take a point from the Allianz Arena.

MÜLLER MILESTONE
Thomas Müller makes way, with his 300th Bundesliga win almost over the line. He'll be the first outfield player in history to reach the tally.

OFF THE LINE!
Davies tears away. Lewandowski is poised to add his second, but former Bayern man Dorsch makes a heroic clearance, with Gikiewicz beaten.

OFF THE BAR!
Gikiewicz denies Coman, before Kimmich slams an effort off the bar. Bayern have gone up a few gears in these last few minutes.

LEWANDOWSKI SCORES
Gikiewicz goes the wrong way, and Bayern lead. So hard on Augsburg.

FINAL THROW OF THE DICE
Augsburg's final change. Top scorer Gregoritsch is on for the closing stages...
76'
OFF TARGET AGAIN
Musiala with the shot now, the Germany international dragging wide from 18 yards. Bayern have scored in their last 75 Bundesliga games in a row, dating back to 9 February 2020. They're turning the screw...
75'
COMAN!
Coman scored in Freiburg, but drags wide this time after a typical jinking run in off the right-hand side.

RIGHT IDEA
Iago gets into the Bayern box and squares to Pepi. The American controls well and tries to turn and face goal, but is swamped by four red shirts and the chance is gone.

FRESH LEGS
Gumny has picked up a knock, and can't continue. The industrious Maier also makes way for the visitors, with Framberger and Moravek on. Coman replaces Sane for Bayern, the latter having been unable to affect the game.
63'
CHANCES!
Pavard gifts possession to Zeqiri, who makes Neuer work for the first time. Bayern go up the other hand with Kimmich, but his fierce long-range strike is met by a strong left hand from Gikiewicz.
59'
ROADRUNNER
Davies is on the attack immediately, but his cross is picked off before it can reach Lewandowski. Bayern are a completely different side when the Roadrunner is on the pitch.
58'
DAVIES ON
Davies, who made his comeback in midweek, makes his first Bundesliga appearance since December. Sabitzer's also on. Goretzka will surely start against Villarreal on Tuesday, so that's an understandable change from Nagelsmann. Richards hasn't really threatened like Davies can.
56'
DOUBLE CHANGE
Weinzierl shakes up his attack. What a day it'd be for Pepi to score his first Bundesliga goal...
51'
NOT CLICKING
Kimmich finds Nianzou with an in-swinging free-kick, but the Frenchman can only head it upwards rather than towards goal, and Gikiewicz is able to punch clear. That sums up Bayern's performance so far.
47'
LEWANDOWSKI HEADER!
Lewandowski powers a header towards the bottom corner, but Gikiewicz springs to his right to swat it clear. Superb goalkeeping.
46'
MUSIALA ON
Jamal Musiala replaces Serge Gnabry at the start of the second half. Nagelsmann perhaps has an eye on the Villarreal return leg with that change.

GOALLESS IN MUNICH
Iago lands awkwardly after contesting an aerial ball with Pavard. The physios are on, before the whistle sounds for half-time. Bayern haven't really got going - they haven't been allowed to by a very dogged Augsburg side.

TIME ADDED ON
Sixty seconds remaining at the Allianz Arena. Augsburg will be very happy with their display.
39'
TELEGRAPHED
Kimmich shows quick feet and splits the Augsburg defence with a piercing through-ball. Lewandowski's on to it, but so too is countryman Gikiewicz. He takes an accidental knee to the temple for his efforts, but is OK to continue.
37'
NOTHING DOING
Oxford is a touch too physical on Lewandowski, but the ensuing set-piece routine between the Bayern No.9 and Müller doesn't deliver. Bayern are the second best team in the Bundesliga from free-kicks, according to Match Facts.
34'
AUGSBURG ALL PRESENT AND CORRECT
Augsburg show great hustle to stop Kimmich countering for Bayern. Defence turns to attack as Vargas collects on the left-hand side, before cutting inside and driving over.
25'
TAILS UP
Augsburg playing with real confidence as Caliguri has a shot blocked and Pavard slides in to deny Vargas a clean sight of goal. They're pressing Bayern high and getting balls into the area.

BAYERN PRESSURE
Great play from Bayern. Richards slips a pass through to Gnabry, who fizzes a ball across the edge of the area. Pavard takes aim, but his shot is blocked. The leaders come again as Müller feeds Kimmich, who fires wide from range.

BLUSHES SPARED
Calamitous stuff at the back from Bayern. Nianzou is played into trouble by Upamecano. His attempted back pass is then picked off by Hahn, but Upamecano recovers to nick the ball clear, just as the Augsburg forward was about to let rip.
11'
LEWANDOWSKI ON THE PROWL
Goretzka gets the ball into the feet of Lewandowski in the Augsburg box. He twists and turns, but is eventually crowded out.
6'
DENIED
Gikiewicz looks long for Vargas. He controls on the edge of area, but Pavard chases back to toe the ball behind for a corner that comes to nothing.
3'
FIGHTING FIRE WITH FIRE
Vargas gets in behind Pavard, but Goretzka's on hand to sweep clear his cut-back before Caligiuri can pounce. Augsburg have scored at least once in all 15 of their away games so far this season.
2'
HALF CHANCE
Gnabry takes on Gumny, but his dinked cross is just out of Lewandowski's reach at the far post. The Pole applauds the idea. That was close!

WE'RE OFF!
The ball's rolling at a capacity Allianz Arena. There are 75,000 in attendance for the Bavarian derby - what a sight, what a sound!

INTO THE RECORD BOOKS
Joshua Kimmich, meanwhile, can make it 150 wins in 196 Bundesliga appearances, which would equal a Bundesliga record. Only ex-Bayern man Arjen Robben posted 150 top-flight victories at the same rate.
CLUB 300
If Bayern take all three points, Thomas Müller will be the third player at the club to reach 300 Bundesliga wins, after Oliver Kahn (310) and Manuel Neuer (currently on 312). However, he'd be the first in Bundesliga history to reach the milestone for one club.
LEWANGOALSKI
Lewandowski has scored 22 goals in 18 meetings with Augsburg, and has only failed to score in two of his 12 games against them as a Bayern player. He's on 31 goals for the current Bundesliga campaign. Forty-one is the record he set last term, remember...

WEINZIERL: WHO DARES WINS
"Games against Bayern are always special, of course, and we'll be up against a top side," commented Augsburg boss Markus Weinzierl. "We're the big underdogs, but we'll give absolutely everything and, as a unit, run ourselves into the ground to get a result. We'll have to make life tough for them, defend compactly and be alert. Anything is possible."
APPROACH THE KEY FOR NAGELSMANN
"It won't be an easy game," admitted Nagelsmann at his pre-match press conference. "We want to win and can't afford any slip-ups. Augsburg are on a good run. They play with different basic formations and are doing well. They have good team spirit and a good mentality. We'll be well motivated. The all-important thing is how we go about it."

THE STANDINGS
Bayern can restore their nine-point lead over Dortmund - who beat Stuttgart yesterday - with a win. Augsburg begin the day four points clear of the bottom three, in 13th place, with the potential to climb as high as 11th. Five rounds of fixtures remain after this weekend.
MORE ON THOSE TEAMS
Julian Nagelsmann makes four changes to the side beaten 1-0 by Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League in midweek. Lucas Hernandez is rested, so Tanguy Nianzou returns in central defence. Left-back Omar Richards replaces Alphonso Davies, whose return after 110 days out is being carefully managed, while Leon Goretzka and Leroy Sane are reinstated to the side. Jamal Musiala and Kingsley Coman make way. As for Augsburg, Ruben Vargas for the unavailable Mads Pedersen is the only change to the team that beat Mainz on Wednesday.
