ADDED TIME
We're now into four minutes of time added on at the end of this one.

STUTTGART STRUGGLES
Freiburg's defence is really making life difficult for the hosts, who have enjoyed 65% of the ball in the second half but have had just five shots on goal.
81'
FREIBURG CHANGE
Schade - who was fantastic against Dortmund last week - is on for Sallai.

INTO THE FINAL 10....
Stuttgart are on the front foot but Freiburg's defence is standing firm. Will we see similar drama at the end of this second half as we saw in the first?
77'
NEXT CHANGE
Millot comes on for his Bundesliga debut after signing from Monaco, replacing Klement
74'
SALLAI SHOT DEFLECTED!
A huge chance for Freiburg to earn a two-goal lead again as Schlotterbeck breaks forward from defence. He slots Sallai in on goal to the right of the Stuttgart area, but his shot is superbly blocked behind by Kempf.

KLIMOWICZ ON THE HUNT
Stuttgart come forward again with Klimowicz battling past Schlotterbeck into the Freiburg area. He gets a shot away before reaching the byline, but Flekken is there to block it away.
68'
FREIBURG IMPROVEMENT
The away side have grown into this second half with their shape - now playing a 3-4-3 - helping them to have more control across the pitch once again. Stuttgart are having most of the ball, but so far they're being restricted to half-chances.

ENFORCED CHANGE
Mavropanos can't continue here and so Ito comes on, the 22-year-old centre-back on for his Bundesliga debut.
59'
MAVROPANOS DOWN
One-third of Stuttgart's backline is down after running for a loose pass. He looks to have tweaked a muscle near his hip, but is going to attempt to continue for now.

KLIMOWICZ BOOKED
A second yellow card of the day for Stuttgart with Klimowicz booked for bringing down Kübler.
53'
BIG CHANCE FOR SALLAI!
Freiburg counter with Höler found in the middle and he plays the ball across to the right and Sallai. He touches the ball past Kempf and fires at the near post, but it's a fine finger-tip save from Müller to put it behind. A good response from the visitors.
50'
STARTING BRIGHTLY
The home side have been on top in the first five minutes of this second half, finding more space through midfield with Höfler and Keitel both off at the break.
48'
TACTICAL SWITCH
Freiburg have returned to a three-man defence at the start of the second half, with Gulde, Lienhart and Schlotterbeck. Kübler and Günter are starting a touch deeper as well, with Stuttgart on the front foot.
46'
BACK UNDERWAY!
And three changes at the break from Streich as he brings on Haberer, Eggestein and Gulde.

STUTTGART ARE BACK IN THIS!
Unbelievable! This is incredible from Stuttgart who have scored twice in the final minutes of the first half to bring this game back to life. It's Endo who does superbly on the right flank, switching the ball onto his left past Jeong to cross into the middle. Al Ghaddiou makes the perfect run and powers a header home.
45'
INCREDIBLE MAVROPANOS!
His first Bundesliga goal and what a way to score it. It's a bit of pinball outside the Freiburg area and Mavropanos picks up the ball. He battles his way through three defenders before exchanging passes with Al Ghaddioui and drifting through on goal. He only has Flekken to beat and powers a fine finish into the top corner.
40'
FREIBURG WORKING HARD
39'
WHAT AN EFFORT FROM MASSIMO!
That sort of effort is going to be the only way Stuttgart find a goal, at this rate. A corner is cleared to the edge of the Freiburg area and Jeong heads it on further. Massimo collects 30 yards out, controls and sends a looping volley at goal. It causes some panic for Flekken, but drifts just wide in the end.
38'
ALMOST HISTORY FOR FREIBURG
Only once before have Freiburg gone 3-0 up in a Bundesliga game in a shorter time. That was on a famous day back in 1994 when they went on to beat Bayern Munich 5-1.
35'
ENDO HAS A GO
Stuttgart are struggling to get in behind Freiburg's four-man defence and it's captain Endo who just about earns space for a shot from distance. That's a simple one, though, for Flekken.

LOOKING TO REGROUP
Freiburg are finding a lot of joy down either flank, in behind wing-backs Massimo and Sosa with Sallai on the right and Grifo on the left. So far, Streich is winning the tactical battle against Matarazzo.
28'
HÖLER MAKES IT THREE!
Freiburg are flying in attack and they're taking every chance they get in this first half. The ball is sent out wide to Sallai by a long ball from Flekken and he earns space beyond Kempf to send in a sizzling cross. Höler's run matches the brilliance of the cross and he powers a header past Müller and ahead of Mavropanos from just a few yards out.
26'
KEITEL DOWN
A heavy aerial challenge with Kempf sends Keitel to the ground and he's taking treatment in the middle.

END-TO-END STUFF!
Klimowicz has a fine chance at one end as he moves onto his left foot before striking at goal. Flekken keeps that one out and immediately starts the counter which is led by Grifo running through the middle. He fires a shot from the edge of the Stuttgart area which is parried away, just about, by Müller.
22'
HISTORY FOR FREIBURG
Never before in their Bundesliga history have Freiburg scored two goals in the first nine minutes of a game. Jeong also scored the earliest brace in Freiburg's Bundesliga history.
20'
BIG CHANCE!
Finally, the home side create a big chance on goal and it's beautifully worked. Förster moves inside from the right wing and finds Al Ghaddioui with his back to goal. He quickly flicks the ball around the corner for Klimowicz to reach, and he forces a great save from Flekken low to his left at his near post.
19'
FREIBURG DOMINATING
The away side are still enjoying themselves down the left with Günter and Grifo both finding their way past Massimo so far.

GETTING FLUSTERED
These opening 10/15 minutes are getting Stuttgart flustered here. The home support are getting loud and Freiburg are enjoying themselves. Matarazzo's side need to calm themselves before it's too late.
13'
FÖRSTER BOOKED
A first yellow card of the day and it comes for Förster, who brings down Höfler in the middle with a frustrated tackle.

ALL DOWN THE LEFT
50% of Freiburg's attack so far have come down the left with Günter and Grifo making a superb start here.

HERE COME STUTTGART!
The home side are finally starting to wake up into this game. Massimo has the ball on the right corner of Freiburg's penalty area and is afforded time to turn onto his left to curl a shot at goal. Flekken provides a fine save to his right to keep that one out.
9'
JEONG DOES IT AGAIN!
Nine minutes, two goals for Jeong and two for Freiburg who are flying here! It's a corner from the right which Günter swings into the middle. It's parried out to the back post by Müller and Jeong is onto the loose ball. He meets it on the bounce with a thunderous half-volley that smashes into the roof of the net in style. What a start for Freiburg and Jeong!
8'
SCHLOTTERBECK STARTING WELL
Freiburg's centre-back earned his first senior Germany call-up yesterday and has made a bright start here. He keeps Al Ghaddioui from getting a counter started and he's looked fine in possession as well.
7'
FIRST ATTACK, FIRST GOAL
It's been an odd start here with neither side able to really get into their flow. Freiburg's first attack comes down the left and results in a goal. The perfect start from the away side and now Stuttgart have to respond.
3'
JEONG FIRES FREIBURG AHEAD!
Grifo sends Günter away on the overlap down the left and his fine cross into the middle picks out Jeong, who is still a good 14 yards from goal when he meets the cross and powers a header home beautifully into the bottom corner at Müller's near post.

HERE WE GO!
We're underway in Stuttgart for this derby!
キックオフ
KICK-OFF COMING UP!
We're just 15 minutes from kick-off now at the Mercedes-Benz-Arena. Stuttgart lost 10 of 17 matches last season not involving a Kalajdzic goal or assist, compared to four of 14 in which he was directly involved in a goal, including the Matchday 1 home loss to Freiburg. He's missing today and for the coming weeks, how will they fare?
PETERSEN NEARING HIS RETURN
Nils Petersen - the record scorer as a substitute in the Bundesliga's history - is in the squad for the first time this season after his knee operation over the summer. On Wednesday, he played 67 minutes in Freiburg's second team's 1-0 win against Würzburg.
STREICH FOUND STUTTGART'S WEAKNESS?
Freiburg's 2020/21 league double over Stuttgart marked only Streich's second and third wins in 13 top-flight meetings with VFB (D3, L7).
A FIRST TODAY FOR THE AMERICAN?
Matarazzo has claimed 48 points across his first 36 Bundesliga outings as VfB coach. The American is searching for his first win over Freiburg, following home and away defeats in 2019/20, however.

STUTTGART FORM
The home side have made a chaotic start to the campaign in comparison. After a thumping 5-1 win over Greuther Fürth on the opening weekend, Pellegrino Matarazzo's side came unstuck away at RB Leipzig. A 4-0 defeat brought Stuttgart back down to earth, but they'll be keen on making the most of home advantage today to get back to winning ways.
FREIBURG FORM
The Black Forest side have made a fine start to this season in the Bundesliga. After a 0-0 draw at Bielefeld, Streich's team came up trumps against Dortmund last weekend to beat BVB 2-1 with thanks to Grifo's world-class free-kick and what turned out to be the winner from Sallai. Streich's side have favourable fixtures to come on paper after next week's international break as well, and will be looking to build on their solid start.

WATCH: STUTTGART SAY HELLO!
STUTTGART TEAM NEWS
With Sasa Kalajdzic sidelined with a shoulder injury until 2022, Hamadi Al Ghaddioui will continue to lead the line with Stuttgart remaining unchanged themselves. Playing Daniel Didavi as a false nine could be another option worth exploring in the coming weeks, but he's on the bench today. Defender Marc-Oliver Kempf showed he can be counted on for supplying goals too with a brace on Matchday 1, however, and Matarazzo will be counting on his and Borna Sosa's strength from set pieces as a potential weapon against local rivals Freiburg.
FREIBURG TEAM NEWS
Off the back of their win over Borussia Dortmund last weekend, Streich is keen not to unsettle his team, and summer arrival Maximilian Eggestein starts from the bench once again. Otherwise, with the international break following Saturday's short trip north, Streich keeps his side unchanged as they look to extend their unbeaten start to the season after a win and a draw.
